My fantastic salad with moist chicken.

I had a really peaceful and relaxing lunch here. We sat outside. Service was excellent. I started off with a passion fruit Mojito which was delicious and hit the spot. For entrées, we both ordered The growler salad. It was delicious with apples, avocado, Bacon, radicchio, celery carrots in a wonderful balsamic dressing.. The best thing of all was the grilled chicken that came on top of the salad. It was moist and juicy unlike most grilled chicken you get on salads, really delicious with a great flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch here, it was service with a smile and I can't wait to try this place for dinner.

I've been here on late nights and picking up take out. Great options food wise, tasty.I've had the tacos, power bowl and I think some pasta dish. Service can be a bit slow on late nights since most people are at the bar but bartender is friendly and helpful so it makes up for that. The bar is owned by a firefighter so it has that "everybody knows knows your name" feel without being run down and serving more than just beer. Little spot to play darts in the back- not a presumptuous spot but not a hole in the wall either. Come for a casual date or bring everyone to watch the game and kick back some beers. Can't go wrong!

Came here during the start of march madness. The place was a vibe and music selection was great. Great sports and happy hour restaurant. The wings came out hot and crispy. The sauce had some nice heat to it. The nachos were crunchy and great portion. Thought it would be soggy but I was sure was wrong about that. The burger was cooked to a perfect medium and the bacon was crispy. The Mac and cheese was cheesy and had great flavor. Overall great sports bar in Tuckahoe. Would most certainly recommend.

Great spot to bring a date or hang with friends. They always have a fun menu and great service. Also have a great selection of Brews. The restaurant has parking, T.V.s and live band! Outdoor eating in their nice patio. You will definitely enjoy your time with the Growler team. You have to try their Mango Avo Chicken Sandwich, Thai wings, Beef Empanadas and Their Signature Burger! All delicious dishes!

My rating is going up... this place seems to have gotten their act together with the flavor of their food. Four of us at here on Sat and the food was outstanding. I used my groupon that expires today actually so like always I waited till the last minute to go. For $19 I got a Flight of Beer ($18) and $25 worth of food. We started with pretzel served with grain mustard... my kinda mustard (spicy) and the Artichoke Spread was delicious. My entree was the Andouille Sausage, Peppers & Onions... out of this world good. Hubby had the Blackened Catfish Po' Boy.. (i tried Catfish for the first time and I'm now a fan). My gf had the Smoked Chicken Sandwich... really liked it and her fiance had the Growler Burger and really liked his. We all had the growler fries and everyone loved them. For dessert hubby and I shared the Snickers Pie and my friends shared the Flourless Chocolate Cake (btw those were the only 2 choices for dessert). We both agreed the desserts were way too rich. I really look forward to coming back.

Truly enjoyed eating here, they have outdoor seating for lovely summer days. Drinks were made pretty well and the service was awesome. My favorite part were the asian wings, they were sooooo good! I especially like the way they served the wings on a news paper printed platter. (Not sure if they still have the asian spiced wings, I believe they were apart of a special.)

To start, we shared the crispy brussel sprouts Charleston style. These were delicious with the tangy sauce and large flakes of parmesan cheese. For my main, I had the brunch wrap. It comes with chips, but I swapped for fries for an additional charge. The wrap was a good size; I had half and saved the rest for leftovers. It was tasty, but not a ton of flavor. The tater tots were nice and crispy and I enjoyed the fresh tomatoes and avocado. They gave me a huge portion of crinkle cut fries, which also would've been great with a little more seasoning, but they were good when dipped in mayo. My husband got the shrimp and grits and appreciated the large portion size as well. I had a lemonade to drink. It was refreshing since it wasn't overly sweet. Service was great. I look forward to trying the rest of the menu!

Aesthetically, each table feels like a meal at a family dinner table; it's clear that they wanted that vibe to be translated, and it's done quite well. This is also supported by the service being very friendly and helpful in general. To eat, I had the French toast burger with sweet potato fries. Some others with me had various sides like regular fries and tater tots, and the same thing was present on them that tends not to be at most places: they were all perfectly salted/seasoned. It might seem immaterial, but it's a very good signal when something that simple--yet often neglected in favor of just using condiments to mask it--is executed well. If you're a burger place with fries that taste great without the need for a sauce or condiment, you're doing something right. The French toast burger was likewise fantastic, combining sweet and savory in a great way. To drink, we all got a communal pitcher of the only frozie they had available at the time: a kind of jungle juice vodka slushie. It, too, was great--worthy of multiple rounds. All in all, here's a place that I can't wait to give another visit.

Pop music, pops of black on the walls, TV screens behind and above the bar- so that almost every seat has a good view, a noticeable bar and those wood-slab walls. You know the look. The last time hubs and I were in this space was about 10 yrs ago, when it was Sammy's, so walking into Urban H. and getting hit with their urban-industrial-sports bar feel caught me a little off guard. No offense. Since hubs and I are getting settled into our other home in Westchester, dining out has been our friend. The young ladies here did well. From the moment we walked in until we headed out, everyone was pleasant, welcoming and attentive. We started with the calamari which was tender. Like really tender. Not a rubber band in sight. But where were the tentacles?! Those crispy little tangled things are half the reason hubs and I order calamari and sadly, there wasn't even one. Hubs went with a canned hard lemonade. It was refreshing but it was missing at least a little oomph especially if it's called "hard lemonade". My salmon dinner was beautifully prepared on parsnip puree with sautéed broccoli rabe and a pomegranate sauce. I totally get my dish was going for that savory/sweet mix- but that pomegranate sauce kind of sent my dinner slightly off keel for me. Hubs, loved his pork chop though with sautéed spinach and...white rice.¯\(ツ)/¯. We ordered the "mango" sorbet but it tasted more like lemon and it you had blindfolded me and asked me to tell you the flavor, mango would not have made my first guess. Honestly- Urban H. has more swagger than quiet, screens and a pop playlist that wants you to know it's there. But the service was super pleasant.
