At the end of the night, a mouse ran from under the empty table next to us and across to under another empty table. We would have told our waiter, but he disappeared again. What a wonderful Mother's Day brunch! We sat outside and started with fabulous watermelon cocktails with Tito's, handcrafted with lots of love. For entrees we ordered the lobster avocado toast, chicken and waffles, and crab cakes Benedict. Wow! The lobster toast was amazing, lightly dressed and very flavorful with avocado and tomato. Perfectly done. I was quite happy with my chicken and waffles. The chicken was extra crispy with a Captain crunch coating. The spicy sweet and sour sauce that came with it was a great pairing with the sweet maple syrup. The eggs Benedict were perfectly cooked with tasty crab cakes and large slabs of Canadian bacon. Yum! Sea bass was good but overstated which is hard to do with my palette--makes me think they were hiding something in the dish. Companions pasta dish was good. When we arrived there were a number of open tables and they sorted us next to a party of 6-8 and we had to ask to be sorted further away so we could talk. Sadly the service was poor and our server told us "he was there for the food". Mo service was slow. Drinks were good but mot enough to overcome the poor service. I eat dinner just to have dessert and was extremely disappointed at the limited selection of deserts--only a couple were made on site and the others were, I am guessing from restaurant depot. There was no Italian cheese cake. It was my first time there. It wasn't terrible but with so many choices of good restaurants, I won't be going back. read more

We got there at the same time as the family sitting at the table next to us and yet we got our food after they got theirs, ate it, paid for it, and left, even though we ordered a short time afterward. It was a ridiculous wait time. I'm not sure if it was just a mother's day thing or if this is how things usually are. For drinks, I ordered a pink lady and a Bloody Mary. The Pink Lady was delicious, but I preferred the Bloody Mary if I had to choose which one had been my favorite. Overall I really enjoyed my dining experience and would come here again because the burger looked really good. The steak was good, but I'm thinking I should have ordered that instead with the fries. Came here on Friday night and was a pretty good experience. Very nice ambience with some bar seats and also some tables. Menu is decent sized but they had time of specials and they were open for substitutions. We got crab cakes and salmon tartare, both were good but not amazing (that's why 4 starts and not 5) Main I had apple salad with shrimp and my partner had bolognese which was good but again, not amazing. Literally just walked out after being made to stand in their small doorway for 20 minutes past our 730 reservation. Got there early hoping to have a drink at the bar and was barely able to due to the size of the restaurant and 2 seats being reserved. IG pictures are beyond misleading of the size of this place. Host greeted us and told us rudely that we are early (yes, we know! We were hoping to enjoy the bar) and then proceeded to make us wait beyond said reservation time. Bartender took 20 mins to pour 2 drinks that were lackluster. Left promptly after being treated so poorly at this tacky, gaudily designed spot. Can't comment on the food- didn't make it that far. Perhaps I'm too used to Manhattan prices and pours, but given the price point ($12-16), I was expecting a token pour, only to see them pull out some giant, goblet-style wine glasses and fill each up more than halfway. Like "oh, two glasses and I feel pretty wasted" kind of pours--so of course I proceeded to have three. Particularly impressed with the diversity of styles. Had diverse options and I personally enjoyed both a crisp white Albarino and a lovely, full red (Sancerre)--each were quite enjoyable. Met some friends here for some late night drinking (they had come first for dinner and sounded as if they really enjoyed, but can't personally confirm--menu looked interesting, though) and had a delightful time. I will say that it got a bit loud inside later in the night, as it was a bit of a mixed crowd of diners and people starting to just hang at the bar--felt fine as a member of the bar crowd perhaps just something to consider if you are looking for a quiet, late-night dinner. read more

Outdoor dining review. Friendly service and staff is always wearing masks. They have outdoor heaters which help brave the cold weather. If you come on a weekend, I strongly recommend a reservation. Even during covid, this spot is always packed on weekends. They have a pretty extensive menu (seafood, pastas, steak), can't go wrong with most of the menu. Make sure you check out the specials as they do rotate them. They also have cocktails and wine, but can't comment on those since I didn't have them. Overall a place with ambiance, close to the train station and friendly staff. Looking forward to coming here again when things go back to normal. read more

Although small, the dining area is expanded by a lovely little covered outdoor area. The Firecracker shrimp was tasty and I enjoyed the log-cabin stack of steak style parm truffle fries. I also enjoyed my first drink, Smoke Show. However, when I ordered the Marsala veal chop, I wasn't asked how I would like it cooked and it arrived over-cooked, dry and tough. The asparagus was also over cooked and limp. If it weren't for the flavor imparted by the mushrooms and Marsala wine I would've sent it back. Similarly, when my husband ordered the duck, he wasn't asked how he wanted it cooked and it arrived over-cooked and dry. The vanilla-blueberry risotto was the saving grace as it added some flavor and moisture to otherwise dry poultry. I'd say both of our entrees were a miss, but they do have a rotating list of daily specials so hopefully the other entrees are better prepared. read more

On a breezy, brisk night, following a movie at the Bronxville Playhouse, we stopped in at Tredici SOCIAL for dinner. The restaurant was packed; we were told that it would be at least 30 mins before we'd get a table. But, they explained, if we were willing to sit outside in their semi-permanent, heated space at the curb, we could get a table right away. We took the table. And we were glad we did. An appetizer - an artichoke salad with arugula and fried artichokes - was delicious. So, too, was a pasta with duck and mushrooms - rich, and very enjoyable. Despite our being outside on a brisk and chilly evening, the service was attentive and friendly. Overall, a very nice dinner. We'll be back to try other offerings. Recommended. read more

My fiancé and I dined here tonight and we were more than impressed! The ambiance was incredible, and provided a romantic setting for our date night. Right off the bat, the service was top tier, and our fantastic waitress Emily provided us with extensive knowledge and awesome suggestions. I had the organic salmon entree and my fiancé had the veal parmesan. We definitely know why the veal is called the best in the city! The quality and taste were outstanding. Took ages for our meal arrive - 40 minutes from time of ordering. Ordered scampi and branzino respectively. Scampi consisted of tiny bay scallops and minuscule shrimp, $40. Branzino was drenched in a butter slop, no balance of flavor, like someone hit it with 20 pumps of butter at the cineplex concession. $40 as well. Truly disappointing. Try the Mexican place in town, you won't be disappointed there. As for this place, it gives a bad name to Italian cuisine...you'd be best served to avoid at all costs. read more

We chose this restaurant because it was one of several in Westchester that are listed in Michelin's guide that was available on a Friday when I called on Monday. Thats generally not a good sign. This is a far cry from getting a Michelin Star or Bib Gormound but we wanted to give it a try. It was just okay. I ordered the branzino and it had good flavoring, but they way undercooked the rice which threw off the dish. My wife had the salmon special, and she said it was okay but nothing great. I had baked clams as an app. They chopped up the clams and added a lot of breadcrumbs but it was tasty. My wife had a salad special which she said was okay nothing special, but they doused it with dressing. So, as you can tell it was spotty and okay in general. Sorry, but I wouldn't go back. read more

Tredici SOCIAL is a festive, vivacious addition to the Tredici family of restaurants. Fans of Tredici North in Purchase will find the same outstanding food and service inflected by an ebullient and even boisterous atmosphere that makes the newest Tredici live up to its suffix. Full disclosure: we were once neighbors with Chef Giuseppe Fanelli. Before I knew he was a chef, I knew him as the guy who selflessly trooped across the street in the middle of a blizzard to blow the snow off our cars. He is good people. We went to Tredici North the first time because he was our neighbor; we keep coming back because we love his food. The restaurant did not ask us to write this review. We had a 7:30 reservation on a Tuesday, and we walked into a party. Literally. There were two fabulous birthday parties going on -- one at the bar, and the other in the dining area. The restaurant is kitted out in the same elegant, modern style as Tredici North -- velvet wallpaper, stamped silver ceiling, and geometric chandeliers providing dim, romantic lighting -- and the decor enhances the nightclub vibe. Later in the meal, the staff darkened the house, turned up the music, and paraded out of the kitchen with sparklers and champagne in hand to celebrate the birthday girls. When we finished our meal, we had to squeeze through the crowd at the bar. At 10 pm. On a Tuesday. In the burbs. Tredici SOCIAL is exactly what the name says, and you'll have the most fun if you simply embrace it and join the celebration. The long bar at Tredici SOCIAL is the premier attraction, occupying the prime real estate at the front of the house and taking up about half of the total dining area. We sat down at the bar to enjoy a cocktail before dinner, and were delighted to find some of the classics from Tredici North on the menu. Our bartender skillfully mixed our drinks, and had them in front of us in about two minutes flat even with a full, thirsty restaurant to contend with. The Manhattan she made for me featured a generous pour of Bulleit bourbon -- I swear she dumped about a cup of whiskey into the mixing glass -- and the drink kept me company the rest of the evening. The menu at Tredici SOCIAL is a pared down version of Tredici North's, but makes no sacrifices in quality. It features some of the greatest hits from its sister restaurant (including, of course, the meatballs), and the same big flavors and consistent execution. My wife's gnocchi was a bed of soft, airy potato pillows, and she found it easy to get a perfect bite with the accompanying cherry tomatoes and porcini mushrooms. My veal chop was a hulking piece of protein, wonderfully crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, and smothered in mozzarella and a brilliant red sauce. The restaurant features the same excellent, considerate, and warm service that's a hallmark of Tredici North. When we were being seated for dinner, the manager was about to direct us to a table near the party at the bar, but he instantly sensed our apprehension and (without being asked) moved us to a much quieter table in the rear so that we could enjoy conversation over dinner. Our waiter explained the tempting specials expertly, and was attentive throughout the evening. And despite a kitchen that is smaller than many of its Westchester patrons' walk-in closets, the food came out rapidly. When we want a quieter, romantic dinner, Tredici North is at the top of our list. But for the times when we want to have little more fun and throw back a couple of drinks, we will surely add Tredici SOCIAL to our rotation. Just like Tredici North, Tredici SOCIAL is one of those rare restaurants that is accomplishing exactly what it set out to do, and it looks like it is already well on its way to becoming an established success in Bronxville. read more

We were looking forward to a nice New Years dinner but we were very disappointed. Our server was trying but he was a kid who had no idea how to wait tables. No drinks no bread no offer of fresh pepper... We had the steak special which was fantastic and deserved the kudos. I had the pasta special which was tasteless and oily. I've been looking forward to coming to this restaurant for a long time. We wanted to celebrate Valentine's Day early and go to a nice place. We picked this restaurant because it's a Michelin cited restaurant and we're told the food was very good. When we got there only a few tables were taken, and they gave us a tiny little table in the back corner, so we asked for a more open till table and they did kindly put us there. The Restaurant is not that big , maybe 15 tables inside, and it's quite dark. Dark to the point you can't see the menu or the food you're eating. I don't love the decor which was kind of eclectic and kooky. they do have a very full and beautiful bar for people to eat. Our waiter came over and asked for our order, he looked like he was in high school. As I looked around most of the wait staff looked extremely young. I understand COVID made it difficult to find staff but at a fine restaurant this it is unfortunate. We ordered drinks and looked at the menu. It's a good menu with several interesting appetizers. The one thing I noticed was there's no prices on any of the items in the specials. I found this annoying. Anyways we ordered our appetizer, we shared a very delicious plate of calamari. For the entrees my wife got the veal scallopini with a side of spaghetti and I got the view chop. Both were delicious. When we looked at the dessert menu, again there were no prices. First thing we see when we sit is the paper menus, which had old grease stains all over them. One of the menus was also cut off so we couldn't read one column... How do you not swap out paper menus between guests, and print out proper menus? The only reason I didn't take pics, or complain, is because I didn't want to make a big deal about it, because it was a first f'ing date. Wow. Amazing food; absolutely horrible service. Four of us arrived at 7pm on Sunday night. First, it's SO dark in there that all four of us had to use the lights on our phones--and we're young! Way too dark. The young, blond waitress brought our menus and then disappeared for 20 minutes. When she came back, it was only to take our drink orders, even though we were ready to order food. She was so profoundly unfriendly, I couldn't believe it. Eventually she brought our drinks and disappeared again. When she reappeared, she said, "The kitchen closes at 8, so you're going to need to order food now." What?! We were ready to order 45 minutes ago! Where have YOU been? We ordered, and the gorgeous food was delivered robotically. The server was pretty miserable, too. The food and drinks absolutely delish--everything--like incredibly delish. But we were never offered grated cheese, or more drinks, more water, or more bread--even tho all glasses were empty and several of us actively wanted more bread. No one asked how our meals were. The waitress and server were nowhere to be found. Ultimately, we finished eating and sat with empty plates and empty glasses for at least half an hour. Eventually, one of us got up and asked the bartender to find someone to clear our plates. FINALLY, the waitress appeared to clear. We asked for dessert menus, and she mumbled, "Kitchen's closed." Had she been findable half an hour earlier, we would have ordered cappuccinos, desserts, etc. But her absence cost the restaurant that extra course and our business. With that service, we'll never go back. Which is really a shame bc the food was top notch. read more

Stopped in around 730 on a Tuesday night to a packed house. We were told the wait would be 10 mins but it was more like 20-25, so we had a drink at the bar. The specials list was as long as the printed menu offerings - there was a lot to choose from. We had already made decisions by the time our waiter told us the specials, so timing was a bit off. Service was friendly (our waiter was a little over the top animated) and attentive overall. We shared the tuna tartar (very good and quite spicy), the special grilled octopus (cooked very well - served over arugula with hearts of palm, olives and mandarin orange slices) and the hanger steak (over a portobello mushroom with gorgonzola, beets and asparagus - this dish was amazing!). We asked to have the dishes coursed out as we were sharing all of them. After we ordered I went to the bathroom, but it was occupied so I had to wait in a small hallway. I overheard our waiter tell the runner that the 3 dishes will be shared and should be coursed out, "which sucks, but...". I was confused - as was my husband when I returned to the table and told him what I had heard. It had no impact on our evening nor on the service/food, we just thought it very odd.
