Great service, good food, really good lighting and great vibes. I liked the music, the decor, everything. 10/10.

If you love thin pizza, tis' the place to be! If you're hungry, order one pie for yourself! If you want 1 regular slice, put 4 slices on top of one another. If you are a New Yorker? These pizza may be difficult to fold. If you're with a group of friends? Order 3 pints of alcohol! They will give you discounts! If you come here often, the waitress will address you with misters and misses. What else am I missing? Nothing! Just enjoy the pizza! PS: Their sandwiches and soup of the day are absolutely amazing!

A small hidden gem in the EV! I've went by this spot many times and never went in. However, the one time I decided to try it, it was a very calm night with not a lot of guests. Very nice service and the server was happy to introduce us to her favorites. I LOVE thin crust pizza and I never thought to order it at a pizza shop except for Dominos! This place was so yummy and the thin crust was crunchy and saucy. I loved it so much, the price was decent, the pasta was filling! Great spot to try!!!!

I was walking to go do my laundry and damn near broke my neck at the happy hour sign out front of this place. "Free Large Plain Pizza with the purchase of any wine bottle or beer pitcher." SAY LESS! My big bro had just gone on a few dates with the same girl, so we had a debriefing meeting over some pinot noir and pizza. He's tough to tie down. I won't go into great detail because big bro would beat me up, but he casually mentioned he and his lady friend had 6 drinks each at one restaurant. Mind you this was the 1st date. Like dawg 6 drinks would have me and my pockets ROCKED. But I guess that's why he's big bro! Back to the topic. Normally, when I eat pizza and drink I am taken out for the next 6-8 hours, as my body is fighting a war to digest all those calories made up of cheese, bread, and alcohol. I didn't have this problem at Gruppo as the pizza is ULTRA thin. It is almost flatbread with a cracker like crust, cooked to perfection with the perfect amount of crisp. It's ideal for the rockstar skinny look I am going for these days. The staff was extremely accommodating, as they checked in on us multiple times to make sure we didn't miss the happy hour window. That's Love Speech. I couldn't have imagined a cozier setting to just talk the night away, bonding with my big bro over some wine and pizza. Bottles of wine start at around $40 while pitchers of beers start around $30. An ideal place to go with a big group.

Came in late Sat night with a friend & I loved the vibe of the place! It's not too formal but def not a casual pizzeria so it is a great place for a date or a nice hangout with friends or family. The calamari was 1 of the best I've ever had in the city (& I've had a lot!) & the chickpotle pizza was such a unique flavor. I'll def be back to try their other interesting pizzas! Our waiter Abel was very knowledgeable & friendly & suggested a prosecco that we had to ask for the name of bc it was that good!

    large pizza

went for happy hour from 3-6: buy a pitcher of beer and get one free pie. service was wonderful and the staff was so nice to me and my friends. lastly the music was fun and modern and the lighting calls for a good time! would recommend and would come back again

    Plain and Grandma pie

I usually don't give restaurants five stars because usually there's some small flaw in either the food, the service or the environment but I can honestly say that this is by far the best BEST pizza I ever had! Me and my family came here to celebrate my sister in laws birthday and everything was amazing! Even the house salad was great! We ordered four pies, 3 plain and one Grandma pie. The Grandma pie was great but the tomatoes could have been roasted a little on the pie and a little salt would have made a huge difference. The star of the show was the plain pie! They were full of flavor, not greasy and just the right cheese to crust ratio. The restaurant was clean and the server was courteous and friendly. They do add the gratuity on the bill automatically (20%), so keep that in mind before tipping. The pizza was great, the restaurant was clean and the service was great! Everything you look forward to in a restaurant experience so why not give it a great rating? Will definitely be back to try out all their different other pies!

This is an awesome pizza spot. Super cute on the inside with small tables. I got the large plain cheese to split with a friend and we were good. What drew me in was actually the happy hour deal - a large pie gets you a complimentary pitcher of beer. The slices are thin so be prepared to order more than you're used to. They pretty much go right through me.

Like their other joint, I feel the same that I love their thin crust and their pizza, but I always feel like the flavor is too heavy for thin crust pizza (not enough carbs to balance it out) , would love more if they go lighter on the seasoning. The shrimp pizza was really good! Caesar salad was fresh and delicious also.

Daily 3:30-630pm and Monday from 3:30pm - close Free large plain pizza with purchase of pitcher of beer, bottle of wine or buy 1 glass get 1 I'm usually not a fan of thin crust pizza, but this is EXCELLENT plain thin crust pizza. The spinach salad has exceptional flavor as well. Excellent service, wine was delicious and we got a craft of water which was perfect for a hot day! Most certainly will be back.

Ya'll should give this place a try! You will definitely feel at home with the service the employees provide. The place isn't super big, but it's definitely nice and cozy for any type of gathering you may have. The food is delicious and isn't excessively heavy or salty. I had the shrimp all'aglio and shrimp linguine. Of course, since this place is known for its thin crust pizza, I did try some at the suggestion of Abel. Just make sure you ask for Abel when you're there! He'll surely take good care of you!

It ended up being a nice spot for a casual catch-up, though with a few mixed impressions. The space itself is cute and very much feels like a neighborhood bar. One of the things we liked most was that they have games available--we ended up playing Scrabble while waiting for our friend to arrive, which made the time go by quickly and added to the relaxed vibe. Happy hour prices are solid, and the fried pickles we shared were decent. I also had a watermelon cocktail that was refreshing and perfectly fine, if not particularly memorable. Service was a bit inconsistent. The bartender wasn't very warm or welcoming to us initially, though that changed once our friend--who is a regular--arrived. Overall, it's a comfortable spot to meet friends and hang out for a few hours, especially on a weekday like Thursday. That said, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to return, but I can see why it works well as a local neighborhood hang.
