The service was perfect. Friendly and efficient. Suggested the Cadillac margarita, very good. The salsa was tasty and a little bite, the way we like it. I had Carna Asada cooked to perfectly medium, tender and flavorful. I would say one of the best in Salem area. We will definitely be back. read more

My beau and i guiltily stumbled into this restaurant 20 minutes before they closed, right after nearly catching hypothermia during a float on Santiam River. We were gracious to have been accommodated in the first place, but this restaurant blew past all expectations we could possibly have had. They have delicious and HUGE portions AND their tortillas are homemade. That's right... both flour and corn. And they have a whole vegetarian section, which is always much appreciated. Yum! Cute little place, food was really good. Chips, salsa and beans served to start. Ordered the shrimp enchiladas and husband ordered carne asada burrito and both were very good! Rice was a little bland, but not horrible. Good service and food, will def go back! read more

Just opened a week ago, we tried it on a Friday night. The decor is typical of local Mexican restaurants The service was prompt with salsa and beans arriving soon after we were seated. The menu is straight from the Salem location and priced accordingly. Despite being busy our order was taken promptly and we did not have to wait long. The food was hot, fresh and very tasty. We finished with Flan, typical Mexican but very good. Pricing was average, overall a good experience, we will definitely go again. read more

"Glad to see a familiar place!" We use to go to the grill in south salem before they moved to Jefferson. The food is spot on and awesome as before. Very glad they still serve the cezuela drink still "and it is BIG and yummy as before!" We share one, and were set as it is loaded with alcohol and again BIG! There are not many restaurant options in Jefferson. So if your living here or just passing through. Guadalajara Grill is a must stop to get you Mexican on! read more

Unfortunately, not a great experience for me. Stopped in while in town on business. Had the carne asada with flour tortillas. The skirt steak easily had 3 times the seasoning needed. Very strong citrus/lime flavor. Not my preference for beef. When I opened the tortilla holder I was pleased to see they were folded and looked very appetizing. Unfortunately they were very thin and dry. The best part of the meal was the refried beans served with the salsa! A nice twist, very well seasoned, and delicious. The other positive was the service. This is our favorite Mexican restaurant. We frequented this restaurant once or twice a week when they were located in Salem. They closed without warning. We were lost without our favorite restaurant. We visited several other Mexican restaurant, trying to find our new spot. We were disappointed everywhere we went. Nothing compared. Then while eating at another restaurant, the waiter recognized us from the old Salem Guadalajara. We told him how disappointed we were with the loss of Guadalajara and to our great surprise, we were told they were now open in Jefferson. This was the best news. We now travel to our favorite Mexican food. Happy once again. We can not go as often with the new location but we will hold out for Mexican food until we can make the drive. read more

This place is SO good!!! For a small town, this is one of the best Mexican restaurants around. The prices are good, too, and we pretty much always have leftovers. If you are driving through the area, or live anywhere close by, you have to go here! read more

This restaurant is an amazing Mexican restaurant. The food and portions are as good or better than many "big name " restaurants in the metro area. The best part is that the prices are 1/2 to 3/4 of what you would pay elsewhere. The bad part is that it is about 6 miles off of I5. Definitely worth the 12 mile round trip. The chef is the owner and its family run. Make the trip it is well worth it! read more

What a great meal we had at this little spot in Jefferson. Alma and Hannah our hostesses and food servers were wonderful. Happy, kind, efficient and all warm smiles. Our food, the fish tacos and tacos al carbon were awesome as well as the salsa and pico de gallo. A comfortable restaurant. Warm and cozy. All the food being served around us,looked great and everyone cleaned their plates. Reasonably priced as well. You won't be disappointed. read more
