Unfortunately, their customer service has been consistently terrible. My Jeep was towed from San Diego and left in a parking lot next door that was easily accessible from the dealership. Instead of moving it themselves or allowing it to be pushed the short distance, they made me have it towed all over again to their lot -- an unnecessary and frustrating hassle. On another occasion, they kept my car all day with no resolution and called me just 30 minutes before closing. I couldn't get there in time, leaving me stranded without a car. Another time, I was late dropping off my car because I had to take my child to school. They held onto the car all day and didn't service it, using my late drop-off as an excuse. Just today, I dropped off my Jeep for a rattle. It took three weeks to get the part, only for me to be told at 2:30 pm that they received the wrong part! It's clear they don't prioritize their customers at all. As a local business woman, I even created discount coupons to offer customers waiting for their cars a chance to enjoy a bite and drink nearby. Yet, no one has ever received a coupon, and when I asked service personnel about them, they didn't even remember the coupons existed. I wish there was another place in San Luis Obispo to take my Jeep under warranty, but unfortunately, there isn't. This dealership's lack of care and professionalism has made me seriously reconsider my loyalty.

(The other brand they sold.) So we were reluctant to use them for anything. But, friends told us that the new owners have completely changed the business. They were right! The new owners have hired a new team, re-energized the Chevy brand, and genuinely seem interested in selling and servicing Chevys and Mercedes. The new staff are professional and very personable. The purchasing experience of our new Chevy Bolt was actually a breeze and very pleasant. We've now taken both cars back to CB for service and have been completely satisfied. The Chevrolet service advisers, Enrique and Jasper, are both so knowledgeable and professional, and they treat me like I'm a really valued customer and friend. What more could I ask? Service like this is so exceptional in today's world. I highly recommend this business.

Customer Beware - Misleading Sales Practices…read more I was selling my Mustang on Facebook Marketplace when Zephyrin from Paso Robles Chevrolet contacted me about purchasing the car for their used inventory. Since I live about an hour away in Nipomo, I asked if they could give me a conditional offer before I made the drive. I provided the VIN, mileage (64k), and my listing already included about 15 photos showing the car in detail. Zephyrin responded that their conditional offer without seeing the car was $24,000, and that they might be able to increase it by another $2,250 after inspection. Based on that conversation, I drove to Paso Robles Chevrolet. When I arrived, it was as if that discussion never happened. The manager (I believe his name was Don, but I'm not 100% certain) immediately started talking about needing $1,800 tires and offered $22,500, later increasing it to $23,000 and refusing to move further. I explained that I regularly receive offers in the $23k-$25k range, and the only reason I drove up was because they had already stated $24k as the conditional offer before seeing the car. Instead, I spent over two hours round trip driving there just to receive a lower offer. I still have the Facebook Marketplace messages confirming the $24,000 conditional offer. Overall, the experience felt misleading and dishonest, and I would not recommend doing business with Paso Robles Chevrolet if you value transparency and your time.

I contacted him about a used Lincoln Navigator, and he confirmed it was available. He knew I was driving from Manteca, about 4 hours away, specifically to see and potentially buy the vehicle. He even asked me to keep him updated on my ETA. If Daniel had told me someone else was seriously interested, I could have offered a deposit to secure the vehicle or simply not made the trip. I even texted him about 30 minutes before arriving, and he still gave me no warning. When I arrived, the Navigator was already sold. What really made me angry was seeing Daniel smiling and appearing very happy while I was standing there upset after driving all that way and not even getting the opportunity to see the vehicle. I found that extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. He did not apologize to me face-to-face; the apology came later by text. I understand vehicles get sold. That's not the problem. The problem is how Daniel communicated with me and handled the situation. A simple phone call could have saved me hours of driving. Very disappointing experience.

In negotiations, they then told me these cars don't get sent with a charger anyways- so they wouldn't negotiate on the cost to replace. This was from both the Sales manager and another lending agent. They went as far as showing me the window sticker as "proof" of its absence. I contacted Kia Corp. They affirmed the inclusion of a charger. Even told me to refer to the owners manual and it's specific language(see picture). Radio silence from the General manager, I'm unimpressed. As a "family owned business" is keeping a trickle charger worth the cost of your reputation?

Keegan, my service advisor, was outstanding. He communicated with me constantly, kept me informed, and provided regular updates throughout the entire process. I never had to wonder what was happening with my truck. What impressed me even more was how I was treated before the service department had even opened. I was stranded at the dealership on a Sunday, waiting for the tow truck to arrive with my truck. A gentleman working that day--I believe he was in sales or finance--treated me as though he were welcoming me into his own home. He came outside to visit with me, invited me to wait inside where it was cool, and offered me water and cookies. That level of genuine kindness is incredibly rare in today's world. I spent my career in retail and served as a vice president of a national brand, so I recognize exceptional customer service and a well-run organization when I see one. I would have been honored to have someone like him working for me.
