Had a perfectly pleasant experience at the Gucci outlet this afternoon. I started in the shoe section and was greeted promptly by Josiah. The shoes I wanted were sold out in my size, but he found a pair in the Texas store and arranged for them to ship directly to me. I was also looking for a scarf and wallet - he was patient and showed me what they had available. I wasn't wowed by any of the wallets but ended up with a flora card holder which will be perfect for spring and summer. The most interesting bags (in my opinion) were also from the flora collection, but I was on a budget today. There was no line to get in and the store was not busy, treat yourself... take the day off work and visit on a weekday when you have time to browse and see all there is to see. The other associates were just as friendly and helpful when Josiah was in the stockroom and I wanted to look at other items. Make sure to checout the men's section, lots of interesting bags that you don't see everyday. read more

This store literally lost a sale! FYI: Avoid the salesperson named Jackie; she is one rude person! Her demonstration as customer service is comparable to an "I don't give a crap" attitude! The manager Jeffords asked me to email him and he said that he will respond... 3 months later, no email nor a response from this store. I will leave this review at this: As the old adage goes, "Never judge a book by it's cover." The way my husband and I were dressed that day should not be the reason to have a cultural nor personal bias; it just so happened we wanted to be comfortable, rather than dressing up in our Sunday finest to go to just your store and be uncomfortable the rest of our shopping time there in Livermore. Sales rep at this store sucks.. I was looking to exchange a belt I got as a gift and literally was provided no help. Felt like I was purposely avoided and was getting glares. I went to the cash register and was asking a girl a question and I had to say it twice while she glared into outer space and checked her cell phone. How are these sales reps suppose to represent a high end brand with terrible customer service like that regardless if it's the outlets. UPDATE: Just wanted to add that I was able to return my belt for an item I liked better and was satisfied with the customer service from the guy that was able to help. So I guess it's a hit or miss at this outlet depending on if the sales rep decides to care enough to help you or not. I'm still never going back to the this outlet. read more

Phenomenal customer service. I wish I would have remembered the gentleman's name that helped us, but he was attentive, very knowledgeable, and patient. I went for a wallet and did not think I would find one but I did with the help of the store associate. He was awesome! Keep in mind, if your going to the outlet to find the newest season items from Gucci, you will not find it. Everything is 6-8 months behind. I am a frequent client of Gucci and this past Saturday was my worst experience ever! I circled the store three times and was yet to be asked if I needed assistance. I was let in with two other gentlemen and they were helped instantly. I was there to purchase a bag that I was told was $449. I had called in advance because I'm 2.5 hours away. After I was finally offered help, I was told that the color I wanted was double to price! They had the pink for $449. So I decided to get that color. But because I was ignored for so long and only offered help after saying I'd like to purchase it, I now don't want the pink. I've tried calling the store to see if I can exchange it for the red but no one answers! How can a store just let their phone ring? read more

I realize this Gucci store just opened up recently and hopefully they are still training their staff on how to provide their clients with great customer service and possibly product knowledge. The inventory is decent, so I'm sure this store will do just fine even with the lack of customer service. Keep in mind they don't display everything even if the salespeople say everything is on display. I worked in high-end retail for 10 years so I'm allowed to give you all some advice: The saying, "Don't judge a book by it's cover." is true salespeople at Gucci. People don't always flaunt their wealth. I was snubbed at this store by some of the sales ladies, probably because I look young and they didn't think I had money to spend. The sales ladies were talking about how their weekend was going and were pretty snobby (it's possible they are just not very smart, but then that sheds light on the manager who is responsible in hiring the sales staff). Alyssa is an exception. She is great and was very helpful in assisting my friend. I wanted to buy something from Alyssa just cause she was very helpful, but the other sales ladies put me in such a fowl mood. If you do go shop at this Gucci outlet, ask for Alyssa. Since Gucci snubbed me, I walked over to Prada and had a great experience with a sales lady named Jenny (I'm pretty sure that's her name) and bought a bag and wallet from her. read more

I had terrible customer service at this outlet ...the quality on most of the products is bad and MOST of the items here are obviously made for outlets ...... I also found the shorter gentleman at the door to be rude ....save urself the hassle and go to the real store in SF or Santana row.. another time they wouldn't let me in with my Starbucks so I took my money to Versace which is right next-door and found the staff and the product at Versace much better. if i could zero stars this gucci i would bcz of the *no drink policy*....be like a real boutique and have a table at entrance for me to place my drink on instead of turning the customer away...r u stupid or something? read more

After waiting in line for 7 minutes my wife & I were allowed in to shop. My wife ran next door to retrieve a bag but when she tried to come back in the bouncer LaMar said she would need to wait in line again. She said that's ok but I need to tell my husband I will be waiting outside. He then pulled the door against my 50 year old wife, hitting her shoulder. I was just about to purchase 2 pairs of shoes when my wife pushed past him extremely upset. He never apologized and refused to tell us his name. He was staring us down with a death stare and got in her face. We left immediately, will never go back. read more

I do not understand why everyone's so mad and hating on this outlet . first of all . this is an OUTLET meaning y'all should be happy that such a high end brand like this doesn't need to have their merchandise go on sale . Having said that , I had a really good experience here today . Xuan was my associate and she really went out of her way to cater and offered such variety of items for me . I ended up with some really cute fine jewelry that I cannot wait to wear !! Like seriously clothes aren't just enough to be all like fashionista or whatever . I'm starting to step up my fashion game by adding on some fine jewelry and I think Gucci is a good place to start investing into accessory game . DONT SHOP HERE!! I would give zero stars. Bought a wallet for my son for his birthday. The sales lady sId she would get a new one from the back. She opened the box looked fine. Then she brought it up to to the register ... $300 plus dollars and 4 hours later I get home only to find the wallet is dirty and has an ink stain inside and has a student from Sacramento State's ID , ATM , Ins cards and more. The wallet was used. I can't wait to call them in the morning this is unacceptable!!!!! read more

When I did the purchased, no one has told me the refund policy that only exchange and no refund, so I just purchased without consideration. It's disappointing how they only have such a limited amount of products, most of which aren't even given the proper presentation and display expected of such a brand name. Went there with my wife and two daughters. Fat doorman with a suit and sneakers stopped my older daughter and I from going into the store. Really!! Separate families from going in together. My wife even told doorman that her husband needed to pay for items but was ignored. I was the first in line and four people exited the store but he still would not let me in! This has to be one of the worst stores I've ever been to in my life. The door man needs to understand that he represents a brand and he is a poor representative of a great brand. I recently went in and was interested in some slides, sadly, they were sold out but Jasiah offered to put me on the waiting list. I walked to the other side and found a purse I liked, Jasiah was nice enough to show me the different colors they had and I ended choosing a red one! Sure enough, 3 weeks later he calls to let me know the slides were back in stock! I've encountered 2 different security guys at the front, and both times they were friendly and welcoming. I did notice that SOME(aka the one with the red hair lol) sale associates look at you up and down and can be a little intimidating, BUT i don't care since they're not the ones helping me therefore they're not getting commission for what I buy lol 5 stars for Jasiah and the cashiers who have A+ customer service skills read more

I came from San Jose. It took me 45 minutes to come to store and check out the bag that I want. Unfortunately, the bag that I wanted was the last one in the store and it had crashes so I couldn't take it. The sale associate helped me look for the bag from different store and we found one in Chicago store. However, for a luxury brand like Gucci, they charged me $10 for the shipping fee which usually free at other stores like Tory Burch or Michael Kors. It's really disappointed for a big brand like that to not able to ship their product efficiently!!! read more

I just came back from there, I am VERY disappointed with the service I was provided! The blonde hair latina? female that was assigned to me disappeared and never came back, then found this old asian lady who was really rude to me and told me go find the person I was assigned to at the entrance and walked away. Then after wandering around trying to find someone to help me this nice asian or Filipino girl assisted me with shoes for my husband (birthday gift) they brought me a USED PAIR OF SHOES! WTF GUCCI brought me used pair of indented, scuffed shoes with gunk stuck under it and told me its new! No the one on display is new and unscuffed wth! didn't even bother to say "ok we'll give you a discount" All they said was thats the last size, in all the dress shoes they did not have basic mans shoes size! (10.5 us) As well as I felt as if I was being treated like peasant, these reps were running after asian and africian american customers and not bother with us younger age group. The security guard follow me around the store as soon as I arrived. I noticed this and try to make small conversation with him but he was very disengaged. I also searched for about 10 minutes for an associate to assist me locating a size of shoes that I wanted to try. I walked by several of them and they all ignored me and pretended to be super busy assisting other customers. Once I was able to finally stop someone and ask him to assist me, it took him an additional 15 minutes. This was the most awkward 15 minutes because the security guard was still following me around and pacing the store nervously trying to keep an eye on me. Also once I decided I wanted to make a purchase I again had to locate someone to check me out. And the security guard again was standing almost on my heel. I highly recommend to not treat any customer like this in the future with your security. I also recommend that you train your employees to assist every customer. read more

I went there earlier since Im visiting from Seattle. I was looking on a crossbody bag that was placed on a display desk. To my surprise, the sales lady which I don't know her name is, snatched the bag away from my hand. Please train your staff well whoever the manager is. You don't treat customer that way. I'm not a thief. You are just a staff and not a boss. I could easily spend that $$$$ bag but because of your attitude, I would rather spend my money else where. read more

Had a great service. There was at least 10-15 minutes wait to get in. As soon as we got in, our sales representative showed us everything that my wife had her eyes on and was very patient with us. We were probably there for at least 30-45 minutes before making a final decision. The prices there was great and they surprisingly had items that came out recently.
