Absolute embarrassment of a place to shop as a pretty loyal Gucci customer. 1) Turn-off #1: luckily I didn't have to but they make you wait outside like there's some kind of promotion to make it look like the store is so desirable. 2) Turn-off #2: bad layout so people just cluster in small spaces so it's hard to get around to even look. 3) Turn-off #3: I don't care about crappy customer service at outlets but the way people respond to inquiries here is beyond me. I went into this store and found a shoe my dad fell in love with so I waited to get a sales associate to help. I had the shoe in my hand and just needed to get the mate and pay -- no attempts to try on, etc. I asked this sales associate who was helping one other woman if there was someone who could help me. His response: "We're so busy, sorry" as he handed 7 pairs of try-on shoes to the only other woman who was in the shoe section. As in, I'm too busy, I don't plan on helping you and I don't plan on finding someone who can. I literally just wanted the other shoe so I can just pay and be in and out in 15m. Surprised that he would prefer not to help me than to just tell me to wait I left and I won't be returning to this outlet ever again. Customer service is by far the worse. The staff here stare at you with a dirty face like you cannot afford anything in the store. They stare at you more than they are wiling to help you or greet you. The security at the door asked me to throw away my drink before entering the store. He stated that my drink will ruin their merchandise. I totally get that this an outlet store, I'm not expecting stellar customer service as if I was at the boutique in Santana Row but it was nonexistent during my visit. I don't know about you but if I was working a job at a retail store, I would be actually working instead of goofing off. If you're a sales associate, greet your potential customers, unlock things from the glass cases without attitude and walk around to see if anyone needs assistance, DO NOT stay stationary & talk amongst yourselves with coworkers. Shouldn't the employees be aware of the brand's designs more than their shoppers? Found out that all items are made for the outlet. This is what causes brands to lose its status. I've always loved Gucci and thought it was the coolest,,, saving for one item a year and worth it because gucci bags and accessories are timeless.. I never dreamed I could buy 2 dresses !!!! This place is insane!! I kinda don't want to 5 star it because I want it all to myself .., I bought my husband belts and a sweater. Got home and they were too small.. no problem, return is easy. A very sweet and darling sales associate named Frishta helped me and was a total doll. She helped me to my car with my new exquisite Gucci items and gave me Wardrobe bags. It's a nice location in the mall too,, easy parking and access,, you don't have to go into the pit of temptation walking to find it, thank you Frishta for helping me then and I'm the future !!! I was there at the Gucci outlet store with my sister and I am find that we had to stand in line to get into the store to prevent having too many people in the store at once. Once we got into the store, no one greeted us and so we kept walking around the store to check out their merchandise and I saw this purse I really like on display so I grabbed it so I can ask the salesperson if they have a new one in the back room but waiting for almost 20 minutes and no salesperson in sight so I decided to leave the store. Regardless if it is an outlet or not, customer service is extremely important and they are representing the company so they might need more training on customer service skills. There's no exception or excuse either way. If I am going to spend good money then I expect good service. read more

I know this is an outlet but the employees should be ashamed. I bought 2 purses, a wallet, and a scarf today on Thanksgiving and I know it was busy but when I got home I noticed that every single dustbag they gave me was disgusting. A white dustbag with brown marks all over it (makeup or coffee), snags, a black dustbag with a broken string, and a smaller dustbag with tons of loose threads. I know this is an outlet store but if I'm paying for purses that retail at over $1k I expect at least the kind of quality control that Walmart does. This review is a little late but I was actually pretty disappointed with my shopping experience. I had much higher expectations considering it was a designer store, but I guess a boutique experience is not comparable to an outlet experience... I felt that the customer service was not attentive and did not give priority to providing it. Upon entering the store, I was greeted very hastily, if it can be even considered a greeting at all. I was not approached and offered assistance, and basically had to navigate the store on my own. Horrible customer service. Staff here are very rude. My sister bought a scarf in the beginning of the day and changed her mind by the end. We went back to the store to return it, and as we were approaching the register, the employee immediately started telling me "All are final sale, no returns or exchanges." This is fine and all, but he said it such a rejecting/"go away we don't want you here" tone and he walked away right after saying all that. My sister tried to explain that she wasn't made aware of it and a lady employee rudely went off about how it's stated on the registers and on the receipts and they stamp it on our receipts. Unfortunately my experience at this Gucci outlet was terrible. I needed to exchange a pair of shoes for a different size. Gucci did not have the size at their store so I asked if they could check other Gucci outlets and do a store transfer. Everything seemed to be going fine until the following events happened: 1. I was told yes they have located the correct size for the exchange however I had to call back 2 days later so I could speak to the original cashier in order for them to do a store transfer and exchange my shoe. Then I was told but a different associate that they actually didn't have the correct size in the system. Lastly, another sales associate called the next day and said they did have the shoe however due to them giving me the run around for a week and a half, the 14 day return timeframe had passed. 2. I was told that they would still honor my exchange even though it was passed the 14 day time period since they were waiting on the correct size shoe to deliver. Fast forward to today, I finally go to the Gucci store to exchange my shoes for the correct size and I was told that they could not exchange them because they've been worn. I NEVER worn these shoes outside of my apartment living room. The sales associate made several rude comments that made me question why I gave Gucci my business in the first place. The sales associate actually stated that she was doing me a favor by doing the exchange since she wasn't the cashier when I first purchased the shoes. Since when do sales associate dictate what customers they can serve??? I had to explain my story for 35 minutes before the sales associate contacted someone higher up who approved the exchange that should have been 'approved' when I first arrived. read more

[UPDATE]- I switched to only working with Karen whom I met the same day the Jean issue happened. Her customer service is absolutely astonishing! She is 100% honest with you about everything and will go out of her way to make you feel like a valued customer. If there is anything out of stock, she always helped me get it in the end! I've bought several amazing pieces from Karen ever since I met her and it's super amazing since they are pieces you cannot get anymore. I'm super happy that I created a solid client-associate relationship at this location since I'm always shopping here and need the best stock that is super hard to find for a great deal. After being inside the former Gucci Outlet store in Vacaville, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and organized the store was. There was no line because of the weather and there was at least 10 customers inside. As a seasoned Gucci shopper I was eager to see if anything was discounted. The shoes were discounted as were the belts. The handbags, mostly past season items, were priced with little discount. The clothing selection was good especially if you are a size extra small. After looking, I purchased two belts which were well priced. The staff was friendly but I wonder if I hadn't been carrying my Gucci handbag, whether I would have been profiled as I was dressed casually due to the horrible weather. read more

I have been in Livermore several times (whenever my mother, sisters, female friends come to town) and my family / friends have only left this location feeling like they just got away with the "BIG" heist. The prices are steep compared to just about every other outlet out there .... But have you seen retail prices on Gucci? Product is always presented amazinly and no one I have been in has ever had a negative experience .... But to echo what one person wrote below .... I have had some family members want the same product of which there was only one ... But it's Gucci ... There isn't always going to be several of one piece ... I was kind of shocked to see all of these negative reviews. I came on a Thursday afternoon and there was no line outside. I had my daughter with me, in her stroller, and a nice gentleman opened the door for us. I have to admit that I wasn't greeted by any sales associates, but they all seemed like they were helping other customers. I finally made eye contact with Xavier and asked if I could see a handbag. He was helping another customer at the time, but he still took the time to recommend a matching wallet and also showed me some scarf options as a gift. In the end I only purchased the handbag and wallet, but I do plan to come back and check out their selection at a later date. Overall, my experience was great. Xavier and I come from similar cultural backgrounds and maybe we bonded over that, but he was also so sweet towards my little girl. In general, customer service there wasn't very good when I was there; no greetings, no help until you ask, cold response. The only reason I gave a two star is because I did have a non SA help me locate a pair of shoes. My experience stared with me having to find a SA to help me with shoes. When I finally found a SA to see if they had the shoes I was looking for he told me they did and went to the stock room to get them. He came back to tell me that another store just called for the same size so he could not show them to me. So I asked to see another pair in a different color and he told me they did not have but, another store did. The SA gave a non SA the information to the store that had them and told me I could call. What happen to customer serve. I called the other store with the help of the non SA and was able to purchase and have them sent to my home. I was planning to purchase a few more items and decided to give my business to the SA that helped me from the Kentucky store. If the SA works off of commission this would have been a good sale for you. From this point on I will go in your store and call Brie from Kentucky store and order from her.....Remember SA's we the customer spend our money anyway we want. How do I start? I came to the store, waited for at least 5 minutes even though there was few customers. If you buy a pair of sunglasses and there is no case, good luck with the case gets sent to your home. No one will even let you know the status, just take their words that It'll come sometime in the future. And there is 14 day's exchange only. The price is not that great either. I did not feel welcome when I walked into this store. No one greeted me or asked if I needed help. I came into the store to possibly purchase a watch for my brother. It was Monday October 26,2015 around 2:45 pm. I felt insulted as these two ladies who worked there directly asked me if I was looking for my mom. After I had said no, then they said they thought I was lost and whispered something to each other that I could not hear clearly & started laughing. Joking or not, I did not feel that was professional of them to question me like that. Was it because I look young? Or what I was wearing because I was wearing work clothes because I also work at another store at the outlets so therefore I can't afford the brand?. To think this store is a high end brand, they do not have the right to judge a customer with they way they look to see if they can afford the brand. You guys just lost a possible sale and a returning customer. I may not currently own any Gucci items at the moment, but after this impression I would probably never want to ever. I don't know if I expected better customer service just because it is one of the highest end stores at the outlets, but that was very unprofessional. read more

I am beyond annoyed. I went last week 3/1 to Gucci to see what new items they had. I had gone previously and saw some sneakers I really liked but chose not to purchase them. When I was there this time I saw them again and unfortunately they didn't have my size. They said they could order them and ship them to me (of course when paying they didn't mention a shipping fee, not much but they could have mentioned it). In order to receive the package they ask for a signature in order to leave the package. No one was home to receive the package during the week and they tried today (Saturday). I was excited to receive my shoes and wear them. When I open the box, they are the correct shoe just wrong color I call to inform them about the issue. The gentleman helping me tells me "I'm sorry, all the boxes look the same they must have not looked inside to confirm it's the right color" . Are you kidding me?! Then proceeds to tell me that they just received a delivery and now have my size in stock. He tells me he will put them on hold for me to come pick them up, "it shouldn't take long". I am about an hour away, yes it will take long because I have to go out of my way to pick up shoes since Gucci employees weren't trained to make sure they ship out the right color. He then tells me he will ship out the correct color to me ASAP and send me a shipping label so I can return the pink ones. The gentleman that helped me first was kind and a bit inexperienced. He truly seemed to want to help me and make things right for their mistake. As soon as the manager gets on the phone he states what we're my options and "that's all we can do". Then says "we will ship out your shoes as soon as we receive the wrong ones". So now I have to wait another week because they made a mistake!! read more

If I could give it a 0 star I would for this. Have been a loyal Gucci customer for years and also been buying 5 pairs of shoes in this specific Gucci outlet and didn't get the service that a high-end brand store should give. My mother was interested in a particular pair of shoes that was on sale and it was the last pair with the exact size my mother was wanting. I took it and had it in the cashier for the other pair and its box to pay for it as the barcode was on the box and the shoes was a floor sample. I was helped by my SA who was very kind and nice who I forgot the name. But then there was this other customer who requested that exact same shoes and got the other pair out of nowhere. Must be from another SA who tried to sell that particular shoes to that customer. The other customer then paid for it with the help of the STORE MANAGER as the other SA was helped by the STORE MANAGER and had the box and other pair to be able to scan it. I asked for the manager whose name was MELISSA SPRINGER, wasn't at all wise! We got the shoes first and we tried to explain things in detail and were casually talking to resolve the issue and she THREATENED us by CALLING THE POLICE and that we were STEALING THE OTHER PAIR OF SHOES, where how were we supposed to steal when we were inside the store and the other pair of shoe we was just laying on the sofa and how useless it is to steal just one pair of shoes. The STORE MANAGER should not sell those shoes though. We felt insulted and it was such a disgrace! We felt that we were DISCRIMINATED and that is something really UNFAIR. I hope you guys don't have the same experience as I do, but keep in mind that try not to get in contact with MELISSA SPRINGER, she is someone you DO NOT WANT TO MEET and that we are hoping Gucci will resolve this issue. read more

Premium brands have premium service and a staff which is friendly and helpful, even in an outlet. This is not the case in this store. It starts when you try to go into the store. They let you wait outside quite a while, even when the store is nearly empty. When you are finally in the store, you will see quickly how rude they are and the selection is in best case mediocre. I went there to get a particular messenger. The model they had on display was dirty and damaged. I asked if they could get me one from the back. First the sales associate told me she can give me only the one which is on display. I got really angry and after I complained she said she could perhaps go back and bring me a new one. I was so angry about this bad customer service, so I walked out of the store and will not come back to this location ever. Instead of spending $1,260 for a messenger at Gucci, I found an even better one at Prada and got some nice dress shoes too :). Great service at Prada and comparing to Gucci I had the feeling that the leather quality is slightly better than Gucci. read more
