Got the apple hongxuan tea, 33 kings oolong milk tea and green milk tea all at 50% sweet and no ice. Apple Hongxuan tea - at 50% it's a bit too sweet for my liking. Forgot that since it's Apple there's natural sweetness to it. For those that don't like it too sweet, less than 50% should be good. The tea is decent tasting but not too special. 33 kings oolong milk tea - probably the only thing worth trying here in my opinion. It's milky and has a nice tea taste that's smooth on the throat. At 50% sweetness with no ice, it is just right but I feel like I could go a sweetness level down. Green milk tea - there's better places in the area for this and Guiji is not it. It is fragrant but the drink is a bit astringent and has a weird aftertaste to it. Overall I'd stick with the oolong as I think it's their speciality. read more

My friends and I really like Guiji and buy drinks there regularly. Recently, we heard about the buy-one-get-one-free Pu-erh tea promotion, so we specifically came to try it. However, when we picked up our drinks at the counter, we were told that we needed to select two drinks on the ordering kiosk in order to receive the promotion. (We placed an order at 2:35pm and picked up our drinks at 3:30pm on 6/21/2026) We assumed that if we ordered one drink, the system would automatically add the free one. We immediately explained to a female employee with short shoulder-length hair that it was our first time ordering a BOGO promotion and that we didn't know this requirement. Unfortunately, her response was cold and repetitive. She simply kept saying, "You have to select two drinks on the kiosk," even after we explained that we were unfamiliar with the process. There was no attempt to help, clarify, or show any understanding. To be honest, this is not the level of customer service we've come to expect. The robotic and dismissive attitude we experienced today was unacceptable, which is why I'm leaving a one-star review. On another note, I always order the 33 Kings Oolong Milk Tea with 30% sugar, but this time it tasted noticeably different from what I've had before. I'm not sure whether there has been a change in management, ingredients, or preparation standards, but the quality and consistency seem to have changed. I sincerely hope Guiji invests more effort in customer service training for its staff. No matter how good the drinks are, customers shouldn't have to feel unwelcome or frustrated when visiting. Came here after the hype died down! Arrived around 3 PM in the afternoon on a weekday and was greeted with no lines. Located close to 99 Ranch, this plaza is quite crowded but there is plenty of parking. The interior is quite minimalistic yet aesthetically pleasing. There's some seating but it's more like a come and go situation. The staff recommended either getting the grapefruit green tea or kings oolong so I decided to try the grapefruit green tea. The order came out pretty quickly and this tasted really fresh and delicious especially on a hot day. I was able to taste the grapefruit pieces well and can tell the drink was composed of authentic fruit and no added sugar. I wasn't able to taste the green tea though so that was a bit disappointing. The price also was a bit steep and in all honesty, the drink felt like something I could put together if I had a blender at home. If I were to try again, I'd like to try the kings oolong as this boba chain is from Taiwan so I'd like to see how their black tea tastes. It is easy to order with kiosk and a decent amount of drink selection and customization. Drink is ok, and this may be the problem.
