I really love the flavor of the mole. I wish they added more red onion though; I only received one thin slice of it. My husband and I had the pleasure of dining here after visiting The Broad with some friends, I've been back a few times since and this place truly is delicious! I love that they use homemade tortillas and that there's a few options to choose from, some I like better than others but for the most part everything is well made. My favorites here include the chile relleno taco, steak picado taco, & chicharron taco (hubby loves these too) The quesadillas here are delicious as well (not pictured) they use a Mexican cheese that has a flavor profile unlike your basic mozzarella or cheddar cheese. The nopales taco was ok, could be more well seasoned & the chorizo and papas taco was ok, didn't really like the flavor of the chorizo, but everything else was delicious. The agua de Jamaica (Hibiscus water) is delicious too, not too sugary. Very refreshing. 4/5 stars because the price is a bit steep for about $5 a taco & they are very small tacos but in my opinion they are so worth it. Some have a pickled onion, some have avocado slices. The tortillas are thick handmade corn, hot off the press. Delectable! All said, I'm a fan. Horchata was delicious. They have beer too. Guisados is so good, no matter what location you go to. They have great flavor combinations. I personally love the mole and the chicken tinga tacos. My boss got the sampler taco plate and loved all of them. I've taken multiple coworkers here and friends here as well, and everyone raves about how good their tacos are. The only thing with this location is the parking is rough, and the area gets a little sketchy at night. But the workers are always kind and get the tacos out ASAP. I also ordered ceviche and sangria. Everything was delicious! The tacos were really good along with the salsa they gave. They are small but filling. The sangria was definitely authentic and the ceviche was just ok, I could have done without that. I was still hungry and then ordered the Camerones tacos which were really good and bigger than the last tacos. I left really full but satisfied. I always thought this was a cute location for Guisados in DTLA Spring Arcade, I never dined here till recently. They have outdoor seating and the space is charming! We ordered some of our favorite tacos: steak picado, mole poblano and cochinita pibil, all fresh, full of flavor and fresh tortillas made in front of our eyes. We also added a pork tamale to split since we like how they make it here. Unfortunately they were out of the chicken one which is our favorite. For drinks, we always enjoy their sangria and you can get water on the house. Food is fresh and it was served fast, almost too fast. They don't have straws here which is a problem. I am not sure about restrooms, I looked inside and didn't see any, just an entrance to the kitchen. Service was nice, it is a solid place for a casual meal out.
