A new, trendy, funky Indian restaurant FINALLY in Orlando!! But don't be fooled by the cool art and Sanjay Dutt theme of the restaurant. Have been here twice now. First when they had recently opened and second a few days back. First time the service was very slow. Our first item came after 45 mins after we ordered. And everything came in a random order, one drink or one food item at a time. It looked like they were under staffed. The servers looked overwhelmed and inexperienced. Few items we ordered were super spicy. Although we asked for medium spice, the server told us that these dishes are traditionally spicy. Well, we won't be ordering them again. We ordered multiple items - Bhel (bland), Chili cheese toast (spicy, avg), Bhindi fries (good), Gully pizza with paneer and schezwan (spicy, avg), Paneer paratha tacos (good), Schezwan momos (avg), Veg Kolhapuri (spicy, avg), Falooda (avg), Aalo bombs (avg, spicy) Second time was a similar experience. Slow service, small food portions and average taste does not justify the high prices they charge. Though the interior looks nice and fresh, the plaza is dirty and stinky. Bathrooms look like they have never been cleaned. Definitely try the restaurant for its vibe and experience. And I hope to update my review and add a star in the near future.

    Okra fries and chaat

Cool ambience and great food. This Bombay street food restaurant with a theme honoring Bollywood legend Sanjay Dutt is part of the House Of Spices complex. My party shared an order of chaat and okra fries to start. The chaat was spicy, tangy and flavorful while the okra fries were spiced just right and not greasy. I had a kathi roll and the roll is actually made of a malabar style flaky paratha. Tried the manchurian chili noodles also. The food was on point and the service was quick. Also, they have a robot waiter that was serving food, never seen that before. Definitely coming back in the future.

Ambience - great Hospitality- nice Food- very good. I liked the jeera rice and yellow dal. Other items in buffet is also good. Definitely a place where you can come back again. Suggestions: desert can be better.

We visited Gully because we heard about the Sanjay Dutt theme. The space was done up beautifully. The food was the icing on the cake though. Everything we tried tasted fantastic, the staff was courteous as well. Highly recommended.

Tandoori veg momos are so good, but a bit spicy though. Noodles are the best I have had in the USA, period

Would give zero stars if there is such option. Un-friendly and rude staff, un-clean tables, zero courtesy.

You can ask them to put the jalapenos on the side if you prefer. It comes with two salsas in to go deli mini cups, fresh lime and pickled vegs. The horchata is so delicious, memories from my childhood! They also have lunch specials. I started going to this spot a couple of years ago. The only down side is that it is so popular, at times you may have to wait for your food, but it is worth the wait!! Having grown up in California and used to authentic and amazing Mexican food, I can vouch for this restaurant! You also have to be careful driving in and out of this spot because it's on an incline. They're an Orlando staple and there's a reason why locals love them. It's drive-thru only with some outdoor patio seating, but if you're like me, you just pull into a random parking lot after and chow down in your car in the A/C. These taco may be small, but they are packed with protein. They have very simple ingredients - corn tortillas (doubled up), a single protein, diced onions, fresh cilantro, lime wedges, and their salsa verde on the side. This time I got the carne asada, chorizo, and al pastor tacos. 3 tacos absolutely fills me up. The chorizo and al pastor tacos (both pork) were amazing. I was not impressed by the carne asada during my last visit. It was very dry and lacked seasoning. The other two hit the spot though and I'll still keep coming back for more.

The portions are generous, and everything is packed with flavor. I've only dined inside once, but the atmosphere definitely stands out. I visited Talkin' Tacos recently, and while the place looked promising from the outside, the…read moreexperience quickly went downhill. Service & Ordering Ordering started off fine, and one employee was genuinely helpful. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff interactions were the opposite. The drink options are extremely limited -- mostly bottled items -- and what's pictured on the menu is not what you actually receive. Misleading Drink Advertising I paid over $3 for the branded Talkin' Tacos water shown on the menu. Instead, the employee handing out food dropped two tiny Pure Life bottles, one of the cheapest waters you can buy. My wife and I were shocked. This felt like false advertising and set the tone for the rest of the visit. Incorrect Order & Staff Attitude My food came out with sour cream, which is not listed as a topping for the item I ordered. I don't eat dairy, and when I pointed it out, the employee grabbed the tray, walked off, then came back and shoved it in front of me while insisting "this is what you selected." Completely unprofessional. The helpful employee stepped in and offered to remake it, but by then the experience was already ruined. Food Quality The food itself was bland and lacked flavor. My son barely ate his meal and said it wasn't good, which says a lot about the overall quality. Overall Value Between the misleading drink presentation, rude staff interaction, incorrect order, and mediocre food, Talkin' Tacos simply isn't worth the price. With better taco options nearby, I won't be returning to this location.

I bought 3 chicken tacos (about 12 dollars), then sat in an empty table to wait. It was ready for me in under 10 minutes. The tacos were small, but they had a good amount of chicken, cheese, onions, tomato, and cilantro. A choice of sauce was included, and I took the hot red sauce. The sauce was small, but still ample enough to pour over the three tacos. The flavors were pretty good (thanks to the heat from the sauce) and it was filling enough for me, though the flour tortillas was a bit too hard for me. The service was pretty good, though I ordered from the kiosk and I picked up my order after they called my name. However, they did check up on me, as well a provided water to cops, and removed empty items from the tables. The staff were quite friendly. The dining area was small and a bit boring. There were 2TVs showing ads for their products, and 1 displaying a horse race. The restaurant was quite cramped, and I was thankful to find a table. It's located in downtown, so parking will be either in a meter or a garage. This restaurant serves pretty good tacos at a reasonable price, but the atmosphere was a bit bland for a taqueria. It was also small and can get crowded and full easily. Best to have this to go or delivered. It's still a nice restaurant for tacos in downtown.
