malai kofta with garlic naan and a mango lassi to drink
    Emmy L.

I absolutely love this place! Everyone has always been friendly, from the hosts to our servers. Service has always been quick and personable. The mango lassi was the best that I have ever had. I have gotten the malai kofta and paneer tikka masala, both at spice level 5/10, which had been a manageable spice level for me. The food has always been extremely flavorful and delicious. The interior of this place is amazing and very modern. Some of the best Indian food in the Dayton area.

Outside of NYC, this is the hippest Indian restaurant I have experienced. I loved the modern and brightly colored decor as well as the cool and curent Indian tunes. Everyone was super welcoming from the hosts to the bar staff, to our server. I kicked off my experience with a delicious and well/balanced lychee martini. As a table, my friend and I shared the most flavorful Garlic Naan, Mushroom Paneer and Chicken Tikka Masala. Everything was DELICIOUS! I also loved the scene in downtown Dayton. We were able to catch the tail-end of the sunset that resulted in stunningly colorful skies. The night was really perfect. Cheers!

The lamb was so flavorful and tender

Loved my first experience here! Delicious food and drinks. I really enjoyed the decor and the service was so knowledgeable and kind! A great place to try if you are in the dayton area!

AMAZING food!! I a the lassi, Kashmiri naan, and the lamb sabaz. Lassi was the perfect balance of sweet and tart, the naan was phenomenal, and the lamb sabaz had the perfect ratio of lamb to veggies to curry sauce. Highly recommend.

Got the butter chicken and dal soup. Delicious! The waitstaff was very sweet and excited to please when they heard it was the first time trying Indian food. Definitely will visit again when in Dayton.

It's ok, but just ok. We stopped here for lunch and tried the buffet. My favorite was the chicken tiki Marsala, but it was very mild and I'm used to Indian food with a kick. The saag was also very mild. The chick pea salad had plenty of red onions and I liked that. When we were done I asked if the menu food has more spice and was told that they will prepare it any way you like plus they can bring extra spices. I'll try that next time

So the 4 starts is soly based off my sensitivity to foods being on the spectrum, but all in all it was great the only complaint I really had was personal and it was a spice I didn't care for. Other than that great food , beautiful inside. Pretty decently sized. We would definitely go back. Great lunch date with the lady! ..

I really enjoy this new addition to downtown dayton. There is a lunch buffet every day but I didn't get the lunch buffet. I got dinner. I ordered the Fish Sabaz, vegetable samosa, and Chai. I liked the ambiance of the restaurant and also the curries. The Chai was really good and was spicy, and the samosas were really filling too (it had a lot of spices also inside, and came with two sauces. The only thing that I would change is the curry had some weird tasting carrots. I'm not sure why the carrots were like that. But the rest was good. I would like to come back for the lunch buffet. Also, I wish there were more fish in the curry, but I guess fish is probably not a popular option at the restaurant.

I have a fairly high spice tolerance, but this was ridiculous. Unedible. The second time, having learned my lesson, I chose "Mild", and still, it was spicier than I was expecting. But my main complaint was that the food was way too oily. You can see from the photos that the channa masala, in particular is covered in a 1/4" thick layer of pure oil.

The Great Indian Food Letdown (feat. DiGiorno as the hero)…read more Oh how I miss Curry Grill--the food, the flavor, the soul. So when a new spot took over our beloved location, I showed up hopeful, hungry, and emotionally vulnerable. Ambiance: Nice. Bright. Open. But... no smell. And let's be clear, if I walk into an Indian restaurant and don't get slapped across the nose by turmeric, cardamom, and "I'm about to destroy this naan," I'm already side-eyeing the samosas. Takeout: Staff was lovely. Ordering was easy. Packaging? Perfection--no leaks, no drama. But the moment I opened those containers, my spice senses were still ghosting me. Thought I was sick. Did the sniff test. Nope--just tragically flavorless. Butter Chicken: Tender chicken, yes. But the sauce tasted like its color--confused and unseasoned. Like someone whispered "spices" from across the street. Tandoori Chicken: Bitter. Dry. Overcooked. No heat, no depth, just sadness wrapped in meat form. Garlic Naan: Acceptable. Not a main character but showed up. Rice: Was... rice. Not much else to say. It clocked in. By the end, I was broken, betrayed, and popping a DiGiorno in the oven like it was my rebound romance. No regrets--at least DiGiorno shows up with flavor and doesn't gaslight my taste buds. Would I recommend it? No. Will I return? Nope. Will I tell the tale of tasteless curry until my final breath? Absolutely. Curry Grill, you spoiled us. Green Chile, please don't take this personally... but your spices missed their shift. Want me to help write a dramatic "foodie breakup letter" next? Or drop this into a savage meme format? I've got your back and your belly.

They give you a bowl for the hibachi you can fill it up with as as much as you want as big as you want with any requests of noodles or rice. Once you turn the bowl in they will serve you the bowl at the table, which gives you time to roam the rest of the buffet. The options were damn near endless and the sushi bar was IMMACULATE. I don't think I've ever seen that many different sushi rolls before. We've got at least 5 different types. They also had different types of salads desserts and other sides to choose from. The hibachi was actually SURPRISINGLY good. Unfortunately we kinda ate something before we impulsively decided to go out to get buffet food. But we were not disappointed at all . 10/10 definitely recommend and definitely will be back.

So now it's become a special occasion spot since we also have to drive an hour to get there. Anyway, we went yesterday, and got charged twice for our meal. We said something to the waiter and he said he only ran it once, maybe it was an error. Since it showed as pending, we said ok. Well, both of them posted today. When we called, they said it didn't happen. We called our bank who already saw and flagged the second charge, they just hadn't contacted us yet. They voided the second charge. The charges were mins apart so the card was absolutely ran twice. Thanks PNC for making it right. After this, we won't be back for a good while. We work hard for our money and holding steady to there not being a double swipe when there was is irresponsible.

It can be a bit awkward when you're there when it first opens because you're one of the few people there, so they watch you from a  distance. I appreciate how they're on top of everything and always refill my drink and take my plates away. The food is the typical Chinese comfort food. They have buns, dumplings, chicken, beef, fish, salad bar, sushi bar, desserts, soups, and some American food. The few times I've visited BMB, I've seen them have crab legs, crawfish, and one time a nearly whole fish of fried tilapia. Since I come in when they first open, the food is always hot, tasty, and such eye candy that I tend to eat more with my eyes than my stomach, lol. The dessert cakes are light and a nice sweet treat to end your buffet meal. The sushi bar has different sushi and tempura rolls on display and plates of Kimchi, crawfish, and other dessert (cookies, ice cream) and sushi options on each end of the bar. Compared to other restaurants these days, the price is reasonable. In addition, the atmosphere is very calm for a nice meal. I always enjoy my time coming here and highly recommend it!
