They'll do anything to sell you the car, but after that their respect for your time diminishes. I had an early morning appointment for a standard service for my vehicle, I was told it would 45 minutes to an hour. By 1pm I had to call my husband down to the dealership because no one was able to give me updates or listen to me. Nothing was wrong with my car, they just decided not to update me or communicate with me. Essentially leaving me to sit in their waiting area for 4-5 hours. Months later I go back to schedule an appraisal for trade-in. Amanda told me appraisals are by appointment and that it wouldn't take long. I let them know I could be there after work (around 6pm) but needed to leave by 7pm to get back to my family. I was then passed over to Seth who said it's not a "mandatory appointment" and that they are busy. Somethings telling me I'll be waiting another 4-5 hours for a 30-45 minute service. I politely declined the appraisal appointment and let them know I was no longer interested in selling them my vehicle. Then they called me twice and sent me texts after I declined. I told Amanda I preferred email communications the first time she tried to ask me for my phone number. Complete disregard of my time and wants. They really don't listen to you until you put your foot down and repeat yourself several times. They make the car servicing/financing/appraisal experience unenjoyable. read more

No integrity. Almost ripped me off. They tried to sell me a $9k new transmission when I didn't need it. Worse, they already had a recall for the transmission issue. The recall was a computer software reset that fixed a stuttering shift (that I had). Rather than service the recall first, they tried to sell me on a new transmission first. I declined the new transmission and when the recall was completed as required, the truck ran fine (fixed). To make it worse, they charged me $170 to "look at" my transmission problem. Of course that was unnecessary. I can't believe they didn't say "sir, let's do the recall fix first and see if that works. No they chose the rip off option. read more

My husband took my car in yesterday, Thursday, June 25, 2026 because there seems to be glitch with the computer. Andrew Johnson, the service person told him that they were very busy and it would take 48 hours for them to be able to put the car on the computer and that we had to leave our car at the dealer. We are a retired couple and have only 1 car, so he asked if we could make an appointment for the following week so we didn't need to stay without a car. He suggested we rent a car. Rent a car to obtain a diagnostic evaluation? He also mentioned that we needed to change the break liquid, which was inaccurate since we changed out breaks and changed everything like 3 months ago. He would not provide an appointment for next week because it was not "allowed" and needed to leave the car. My husband went to Belken's where they changed our breaks and showed my husband that the liquid was fine. What happened to integrity and transparency at Ancira Nissan. We had a similar issue at Ingram Nissan and that's exactly why we started going to Ancira. Very dissapointed. The sad thing is we'll have to go to Boerne to get our car serviced since we bought an extended guarantee for the car. Be aware and check before you pay. We not only had to pay $189 for the computer diagnostic, but they were attempting to change our break fluid which was not needed. read more

For anyone being courted by Ancira Nissan to sell their vehicle to them I have 2 words..... SELLER BEWARE My mom had a 2015 Ford XLT with less than 30,000 miles...... The KBB value on the vehicle had a range of $12,400 - $15,800. The vehicle did have a NTSB recall that happened at the end of January so the part was not available yet. There were also 2 dents on the front passenger wheel well from my 85 Yr old dad rubbing the side of the garage one day. Dad did not see a reason for him to have 2 vehicles so I started the process on KBB. Ancira Nissan (Zyril) pressed hard to get the vehicle in for an inspection so Ancira could buy it. An appoint was set for this morning and my Dad and sister showed up on time. Zyril or whomever did a cursory walk though of the vehicle making notes of dings and scratches. Mind you they never took it for a test drive and came back with the minimum offer of $12,400. We turned this offer down immediately Zyril then had his manager come look at the vehicle.... They finally actually took it for test drive. I truly believe this was in spite of us rejecting their low ball offer because when they came back.... Zyril gave a my sister a new "Trade In Breakdown" J.D. Power Now the value listed was $10,975. That was crossed out and $8,000 was written. I guess this was their version of sour grapes for not getting us to jump at the first offer. What an awful experience we just had from Ancira Nissan! My mom had an offer from CarMax for her 2022 BMW X1 with barely 2600 miles on it. A literal creampuff. Ancira Nissan reached out saying they wanted to bid on it (from KBB/AutoTrader, I believe). I said we weren't interested in selling to them unless they could match the CarMax offer. I had an appt on Mon, Sept 25, I had to cancel and brought it in the next day. Tue. Andrew was my advisor. I chose to leave my vehicle the two days I had to travel Tue and return Thur. I was told the work would be done by my return Otherwise, I would not have left it. I received a voicemail stating the vehicle would not be ready. I needed to depart for another trip on Sat; so Friday I was told the vehicle would be ready. So, since it wasn't ready, I was given a rental car to return the next day on Sat to which I made clear that I have a flt and need my vehicle by the time I have to head to the airport. I called before I drove over. Julian filled in for Andrew since he was off and Julian informed me the vehicle still was not ready and he told me to keep the rental at no cost since they could not return my vehicle before I left. I told him I return Mon, it was Labor Day so Tuesday was the first day back. Fast forward, I show up to get my vehicle and it's finally done. I could not believe Andrew thought I would incur the cost of their rental car for all the days they had my vehicle in which they did NOT deliver on their own word for two days it was supposed to be ready which was upon my return for my first trip and before my second trip. When I expressed my feelings, he simply waived the rental car expenses he expected me to pay. Andrew did take off some of the costs of the work they were doing as a gesture of goodwill but also tried to recover those discounts by charging me for the rental car. I cannot believe he thought that was fair and acceptable. I have used Ancira Nissan since I purchased my 2013 Nissan Maxima as a first owner and no miles on it. I was accustomed to much better service when Otis was in the Service dept. The new reps require more training on customer hospitality and manage the workload because the reason I was given that the vehicle was ready on time because they had too many vehicles come on and in house. Therefore, don't take vehicles in and don't try to predict when a vehicle can be ready if your staff can't support the workload. Management please provide remedial training in these areas. I have trusted Ancira for 12 years and this was the first most grossly botched experience I've had. I have given positive feedback on some of my experiences in the past, but I could not do that this time and it must be made aware and hopefully addressed in a way to improve the customer's experience. What was most offensive was when Andrew tried to tell me it didn't help him that I kept the rental car to get back and forth from my home to the airport and back without incurring expenses. I didn't waste my time asking him, how does it help me that my vehicle wasn't ready until two days AFTER told I would have it back. I still have the voicemail he left apologizing but I did not feel that remorse when it came time to charge me for the rental so I could still have transportation until the mechanics completed the job. Also, had the audacity to have an attitude when I told him I did not expect to have to Uber or Lyft until his technicians completed their work that I had to pay for. On December 28th, 2023, I brought my Infiniti to Ancira Nissan for a routine oil change. I have used Ancira for the past eight years. I was a loyal customer, giving them high recommendations in the past. But sadly, they were not loyal to me. I received a call from the service advisor that my vehicle was ready for pickup. He also informed me that my central drive belt was torn and needed to be replaced. The service tech sent him a photo to show me. There were eight other recommendations totaling around 3k. What concerned me was the technician didn't check my tire pressure or top off all my fluids, but they were quick to recommend 3k worth of repairs. I then arrived shortly after that and met with the service advisor. He showed me a photo of the broken belt and told me that part of it had broken off my central drive belt. The service technician also wrote on the "customer detailed copy" that I had a torn belt. I declined all their recommendations. When I arrived home, I inspected my central drive belt, and it was intact and had no damage. I then called the service advisor and asked for a photo. After receiving the photo, I sent the picture to a neighbor who used to be an ASE Certified Tech for his opinion. I then drove my vehicle to his garage, and we used his 4-post car lift to inspect my vehicle. He also confirmed there is no damage to the central drive belt. We also reviewed every recommendation on the CDC; my vehicle only needed rear brakes. I then met with the service manager on December 30th, 2023, to discuss my concerns. In that meeting, he told me he asked the tech if that piece of torn belt came from my central drive belt, and the tech told him that it did. He asked me to bring in my vehicle on January 2nd so he could inspect and confirm any damage or tear from the central drive belt. He and 4 other techs confirmed there were no signs of physical damage. While we were in the garage, another employee named Travis arrived and inspected my belt, and he insulted me by saying that the broken belt was already there because it came from another belt. Not only did Ancira Nissan take responsibility for misrepresenting needed repairs, but they also told me that my accusation was unfounded. I have a photo and written evidence (see pictures) from them that I had a torn belt that mt belt needed to be replaced. What would your perception and suspicion be if this were your vehicle? If they make recommendations on needed repairs, you better confirm before authorizing. I LOST ALL TRUST with Ancira Nissan. read more

I had a very bad experience,very hard pressure sales tactics, they had me till 12 am, I don't know if that's legal but the worst part was with the service department. The brakes were making noise and they told me that I needed to replace the four brakes in my new car and they wanted to charge me $1000. Of course I couldn't pay that and I took it to Casias and the mechanic there told me that there was nothing wrong with my brakes that I just needed to drive it a little bit more because it was parked for four weeks. Bought a work truck for my company and it had a recalled part, and instead of replacing the part, they asked if I could split the difference so they could install and replace. July 4th I bought another truck, a ram 2500, used. Was told they did 160 point inspection, and everything was great. A week later my battery is dead and now I have to charge it every time I want to drive my truck. So I take it to Ancira Nissan to see if they can replace the battery, they said it was good and it wasnt, it's constantly dead. And they wont replace the battery, instead said it's not covered under warranty and we need to pay 680$ to get it replaced. All the men looked at my direction and didn't even say, " hello, be right with you." Just a simple hi, be right with you would be great. They need to take a page out of Discount Tire or Chick-Fil-A because those two businesses alway make you feel welcomed. My friend and I bought a used FJ Cruiser in November 2022. After he had had it for a couple of months he discovered the lights on the car were i Dull and needed to be changed. I called Ancira and asked to speak to the manager. Each time I was told he would call back he never did I called three times. I also called the department where they had passed the inspection of the car for sale, they told me they would not help me and that I needed to speak to the manager. My friend cleaned the lights thinking maybe it was just a problem with their glow, but today he took it into north park Toyota to have an oil change and was promptly told that the headlights on this car are completely improper. They are not the original lights that should be on a Toyota and was quite surprised that Ancira had even sold us the car in that condition in the first place. Several weeks later I took it back because of the sinking pedal, they claimed it was an air pocket in the rear brakes. Till this day the brake pedal is still doing the same thing and Nissan service drive is refusing to address the real concerns of a possible leak or master cylinder failure, Nissan is saying it's normal for a Nissan to press the brake pedal to the floor board. False Advertisement of Pricing I was very disappointed on my recent trip to Ancira Nissan. I went in to find out that a car they priced for 7,500 online came out to roughly 13,000 due to required dealer add-ons (vin etching, lojack, window tinting, glass coating, etc). If these are required why not price the car online with those fees?!! Instead, I went in, test drove the car, then bam, hit you with these add-on that just about DOUBLED the price. I will take time out of my busy day to write this not only on google but on yelp too because that's how much of a s*it business this is. I'm sure you can all read my other reviews on yelp. After waiting for 4 months to finally drive off the used jeep compass I bought from them (bought it in June, and bc they don't actually check what they sell, had it in repair for months. So I didn't get to drive it off despite purchasing it. Biggest regret). In October of 2024 is when I finally got it back without me having to return it once again. Now, in February of 2025, the car will lock and turn off whenever I try to put it in drive or park. I can't even go forward or back without it shutting off and jerking around. I'm sure it's just another thing they failed to check or even bother to fix correctly seeing as my past experience has only been going back and forth to fix the same issue. They will play nice in your face, but will they give you a call back? No. I had to spend months and time out of my day to call them and message them to where I was doing it every 15 minutes till someone with actual authority would talk to me. I spoke to multiple people who never knew what was going on. So there I go explaining it all over once again. They are unprofessional and quite frankly, just pathetic. I even had Steven, the General Sales manager, tell me "don't take offense, but no other dealership would have given you a rental and paid for it." WELL STEVEN, I didn't go to any other dealership STEVEN, I went to this dealership STEVEN. I don't know if any other dealership is as UNPROFESSIONAL and UNRELIABLE as this dealership, STEVEN. I had to make a bad review the first time to even have y'all call me back to give me a rental and I would think it would be paid for seeing as I didn't sell myself a used f*cked up car I couldn't even drive off the lot for MONTHS despite buying it, STEVEN. I would've been without a vehicle, STEVEN. I purchased it in JUNE and didn't get it till OCTOBER, STEVEN. I had to make multiple calls and send multiple messages and speak to idk how many people for those months it was ridiculous. And funny enough, not once did I get a call back from OTTIS. I had attempted to purchase a truck from Ancira about a year ago and walked away because the salesman was out of the 1960's and the whole high pressure sales process was a ridiculous waste of my time. When I got my final quote it was loaded with junk fees (like VIN etching....Google it). I ended up purchasing a vehicle through Carvana.com and I was so satisfied with the up front and simple experience I purchased my wife's Grand Cherokee from them a few months later. Now Im looking for a specific van and Ancira has one. I had reservations but decided to give them a second chance. Initially, the same kind of antiquated commission based sales tactics like junk fees added to the final price. The sales woman Heather was nice enough so we worked through it. Then it was shoddy body work they had promised to do. The used car sales manager stepped to the plate and handled it and offered free oil changes. So far the experience was more painful and time consuming than it should have been but I felt they were keeping their end of the deal. That all ended the day we picked up the vehicle and were given ONE key. I then provided irrefutable evidence from my original quote that clearly stated it came with two keys. Their reply was sorry we made a "mistake"in the quote. It's one thing to admit a mistake but another thing not to feel any accountability. Their "mistake is going to cost me $400 at the Mercedes dealership!! A "mistake" that a a couple of oil changes doesn't cover. If you decide you absolutely must buy a used car from this dealership my advice is to get absolutely everything in writing. I found a car on Car Fax and responded to the request for more information. The next morning, I received a call from the salesperson and told him I would like to put a deposit on the car. I was assured that was not needed, and we scheduled a time that day for me to look at the vehicle. I arrived early for my appointment and was greeted by multiple salespersons. I asked the "buyer" (the one who brought the car into the lot) if he would buy this car for his favorite loved one", because I don't want to waste anyone's time, nor they waste mine. He assured me he would. Because the car had just come in, I could not test drive it. I was told about 40 minutes into my time that someone else was looking at the car. I again said I will put a deposit down, and again was told no, I could sign a contract. So, long story short, these salespersons continued to string me along for another hour, assuring me a contract would hold the car, blah, blah, blah. When the salesperson came back and I was ready to sign, said, "I have some bad news...someone just bought the car". He claimed he didn't know someone else was looking at the car, and that is NOT true!!! Slimy move guys. Integrity is honesty when no one is looking. Your move was a pretty low blow. Bad bad bad. They sold the truck I was interested in while I was test driving it after driving a hour and half from marble falls to try and make the purchase. Betsy, Jonathan, Shane and another meat head used car manager were all aware of the situation and not once did any of them apologize. After leaving they had the nerve to call me and offer to show me a much lower trim lever truck. Way to go guys, way to go. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. THIS PLACE IS A FUCKING NIGHTMARE. Long story short. Came to this place for new car. I met with Hong, kinda nice. He looked me up in the system; saw I had a rep from my previous online interaction. He said let me get your rep bc I don't want any fighting or arguing over clients bc it's happened. Strike 1(unprofessional) The rep I deal with was Yogin. Told him what's happened & what I needed. He treated it like a reg transaction instead of being proactive in helping for my next car especially when I'm about to pay $25k or more for a car. Showed me cars, I wanted one but it's at another location. He said it's 45 min again (mind you it's not; it's 17 minutes away) STRIKE 2. I hate liars. I left because of 1 lie. I can't back to give benefit of the doubt for this company. I got a new rep Danielle. She was alright. Helped me pick a car, started paperwork. $24,690 is the price of the car. She came to me with 22% & monthly is $747 or whatever. FOR A $25K CAR?! ARE YOU INSANE? But her KNOWING my situation & I desperately need a car. (she said it's okay you'll come up quick) tf does that mean. She added a bunch of shit I didn't need or asked for nor want. I told her take it off(couple thousand she took off but total price dropped maybe $600 at most) made no fucking sense. STRIKE 3. After all the paperwork was done, I thought the car was in my name & someone co-sign, went to finance & Eddie said sign for your dad it's okay. Car wasn't in my name at all. HE SAID IT WOULD BE OKAY TO SIGN FOR YOUR DAD. Mind you he is states away. They lied to me about paperwork being sent out. Came back to speak to Steve, let me tell you about steve. He's a disgusting human being. Explained what happened, he said he's going to PULL UP INFORMATION & he ended up hitting my credit WITHOUT my knowledge. REFUSED to admit he did a hard inquiry while I'm showing him the email about it. After everything I told him I'll be back tomorrow to see if I'm keeping the deal or walking away; he said "well you're in my company car" keep the fucking car. I spoke with a lease specialist earlier today regarding a buy-out on my lease. I asked if I was able to look into all of Ancira's Inventory instead of specifically Ancira Nissan to trade in and he was very rude stating that I can ONLY get NEW Nissan cars when I trade in my Sentra. I had asked him to double check with his manager because I had found out at Gunn Nissan I was able to look at their whole Inventory that wasn't specifically Nissan and figured Ancira was the same. (I also emailed him yesterday asking the same question and he said he wasn't sure and he would ask his manager but he never followed up which is why I had called.) He became very dismissive and said "well that's good for you" in a very sarcastic tone. I then mentioned that I was interested in a Jetta that the location had in stock and he interrupts me and says "No. Only NEW Nissan Cars." I guess my mistake was mentioning another dealership looking for a simple answer of whether or not I can browse all of Ancira's inventory because he apparently took offense and was quick to shut me down and get me off the call. On the other hand, when I had first got my lease about 2 1/2 years ago, I had sales rep Lou help me out. He was the best. read more
