First off i just wanna say this place is highly underrated the food was amazing and service was top tier!! Loved how the booths were curved so you have privacy between each other definitely will come back! Our drinks were great as well good recommendation from our server

My boyfriend and I went on Valentine's Day. The service was mid at best. My boyfriend and I both asks for med rare and we both got med well. The lobster was extremely tough and bordering burnt. When we told them the food was all wrong they didn't offer to remake and gave us $10 off $80 plates. Gus the owner talked to every table around us and never talked to us. Would not recommend.

Did Gus retire?

He still comes up a few times a week but doesn’t stay late all the time. So I guess we could say semi-retired lol.

what a creative menu!…read more I was hungry for a philly cheese, and the "philly cheese please" hit the spot. Soft tender slices of ribeye, paired with grilled onions, grilled red and green bell peppers and a helping of black pepper was great. No sauce to make it messy and paired with garlic truffle fried was fantastic. Since these were shoe string cut, they were crispy and very crunchy. My SO ordred the fondue burger, and this was delicious as well. Warning the hot cheese will burn you, and hot cheese oil. But worth the burn as this smother cheese on a ciabatta bun was great. This was paired with sweet potato fries. These thick cut sweet potatoe fries are only sprinkled with sea salt, they retained the soft and moist texture just prefect. One order of a passion fruit lemonade, was a great balance of sweet and tart, and came in a very large glass. Pleanty of ice to keep it chill and slowly sip through out the meal. The meal a tad heavier than I thought, I finished my philly cheese, but not the fries (a first) The room is very high ceiling and all these great art works, posters and items on all the walls. TV screen with sports and sounds like sattelite radio running above. Service was very prompt and friendly. They explained the menu and clarified on some points. The specials sounds great, but we opted for a lighter dinner and went for sandwiches and burgers.

Their happy hour is DAILY from 14:00-16:00. The restaurant was pretty busy on a Sunday, but we didn't have to wait long for a table. Our server was attentive and friendly. For our cocktails, my friend went with the Huckleberry lemonade, while I went with the pomegranate whiskey sour. She thoroughly enjoyed her cocktail, and so did I. At that price point, I didn't expect much, but it was a solid cocktail, although not as strong as what I'd normally get elsewhere. The clam chowder sounded really good, and I couldn't help myself, so I ordered it. My friend is not a fan of seafood, so the chowder was all for me. The crostini was very nicely toasted and I loved dipping it into the chowder. I was also pleasantly surprised by the flavor and quality of the clam chowder. It was packed with a ton of clams, and was perfectly hearty without being heavy. We opted to share the fallen apple pizza, which was the perfect choice. The dough was pillowy and light, and the toppings delicious. I would have liked more apple slices, as it didn't seem like they were very prominent, and for the balsamic drizzle to be more uniform, but overall it was a solid pizza. I took leftover pizza home, and my husband enjoyed it for dinner. We heated it up in the air fryer and that was the way to go. While it was a little noisy in the restaurant, mainly due to a large group seated next to us, we still had a good experience, and the booth seating was comfy. I would love to bring my husband back to try more happy hour menu items next time we visit Sonora! The price point is seriously hard to beat, and Emberz is a solid spot for hanging out and having a good time.

We love this place ... best hamburgers, great salads, wonderful specials…read more The portions are generous making the meals a good value. The wine list can satisfy the pickiest of palates. The option to sit outside makes this a great choice for summer evening dinners , but indoors is comfortable . It can be a tad loud if it is a busy time of day so for the hearing impaired that could be a challenge but ask if you could sit on the wine side , it is a little quieter. 90% of the time we have GREAT service but on occasion we have had to flag down server for help or to pay . However, I Visited on Mother's Day with my daughter and sister and had a completely different experience. I have a gluten allergy, one daughter has gluten sensitivity, and my other daughter has celiac disease. We informed our waitress that we needed gluten-free options and were told they were out of gluten-free buns but had gluten-free sourdough. After double-checking, the chef confirmed it was gluten-free. Something didn't seem right, so we asked to see the packaging. Wheat was listed as an ingredient. Thankfully, we caught the mistake before eating it. Unfortunately, when our food arrived, two of the gluten-free meals were still served with gluten-containing items, including a flour tortilla and the same bread we'd already identified as not gluten-free. The food itself was actually delicious, and I wish I could leave a more positive review based on that alone. However, for anyone with celiac disease, a gluten allergy, or a serious gluten sensitivity, accurate ingredient information is not optional--it's a health and safety issue. The repeated errors from both the kitchen and serving staff were extremely disappointing and left me with little confidence in their ability to safely accommodate gluten-free guests.

Our food came out pretty quick and man it was all so good very flavorful dipping sauces the amount of food was perfect the appetizers were awesome love the calamari crunch and spicy edamame was great. We picked out the below Spicy Edamame Calamari Chicken & shrimp Steak& shrimp Steak shrimp & scallops Jalapeño Blaze sushi roll (so so good ) All plates came with sautéed veggies and choice of regular rice or $2 extra for fried rice which was perfectly cooked . We often order multiple orders of their gyro meat à la carte to go. We use it to make many of our future meals that week (well...if it lasts that long...we often devour it as soon as we're back home). I feel abundantly blessed that Yianni's opened up in the Sonora area. The place is brimming with charm and good vibes. They offer regular specials, and their standard menu is full of flavorful options. No matter your dietary needs or preferences - they got you. I had the chicken sandwich, and it was quite bland and seemed to be missing seasoning. My partner enjoyed the fish, so that dish was a better experience. The biggest disappointment was the tzatziki. It tasted unusually sour, almost as if the yogurt had expired. I genuinely hope the kitchen tastes it before serving, as it didn't seem right. I did let the server know and she did let the kitchen know. I'm very familiar with Greek cuisine, and compared to what I've had elsewhere, the food here was unfortunately quite mediocre. I also noticed the owner's responses to other reviews. I hope the feedback isn't only acknowledged but also used to make meaningful improvements. I share these comments in the hope that they help make the dining experience better for future guests.
