I was in Canton to visit family, and I arrived earlier than expected. And being afternoon, it was time for lunch. I decided on trying Guthrie's for lunch, since there are none in the Orlando area that I know of. Their chicken strips are really good. I ordered The Box, which comes with chicken strips, French fries, cole slaw, Texas toast, and sauce for dipping. The sauce has a tangy bite to it. Which I like. There was a wait for my order. Which I do not mind since the chicken strips, French fries, and Texas toast was hot. Service is good. But the cashier working the counter was also working the drive thru. There should be one employee working the counter, and one working drive thru. And I could only see two people working the kitchen. It was after the usual lunch time, so I imagine I arrived at a slower time. But I think there should have been more help. If I am in the area again and looking to have lunch, I would likely return here again.

Been here multiple times and have always enjoyed the food. The staff is super friendly and quick with the food. The Guthrie's sauce is super similar to canes sauce and definitely one of the better ones I've had. Definitely will be back!

My chicken "finger" compared to a quarter.

I decided to try this place again! Pulled into the drive thru and the girl taking the money was the only one wearing a mask. The guy making the drink.. no mask. The guy coming from the back... no mask! I received my drink ... me: "Thank you". Him: NOTHING!! I received my food... me: "Thank you". Her: NOTHING!! I wasted $8! I'm not even opening the bag! I'm throwing it away and going somewhere else! NEVER AGAIN!!

This is my "Big Box" 3 fingers 1 of which is so small I don't think I would count it! Check your orders before you leave here.

Nothing against Zaxby's, I eat there, too, but if I am in the area, I choose Guthries.

Three cheers for chicken cooked right! I accidentally stumbled upon it while make a stop near by…read more It is almost hidden at the end of the row of storefronts. One can order just as you step in the door or get a table. I sat myself but maybe you are suppose to wait to be seated when it is busy. The menu goes in a lot directions from soup to appetizers to a whole or half chicken... I was there for crispy wings! There are several flavors and I asked the server for help. She wasn't a spicy fan so she steered me towards the garlic and honey/honey and soy wings. I ordered the small, 6 wings. The pickled radish was my side- you can choose a can of soda or cole slaw . Out came a small dish of the pickled radish followed a little later by 8 wings. The server explained that they typically have jumbo wings but that's not what they had today so they added another one to make up for it. That's a 5 star review right there! The wings were hot out of the dryer, perfectly seasoned with a sticky sauce that wasn't coated and drippy but rather just the right amount for a great meal and not 50 napkins and new shirt. What a gem! They are doing it right!

The food here is genuinely excellent--some of the best Korean fried chicken I've had in Atlanta…read more The skin is incredibly crispy, the meat is tender and juicy, and the chicken is clearly butchered and cooked with care. The sauces are a real highlight, especially the gochujang-based one, which was absolutely phenomenal. They're generous with the sauce, too, which adds even more flavor to an already well-executed dish. That said, it's hard to ignore the price point. This is easily the most expensive Korean fried chicken spot I've been to. While the quality justifies the cost to an extent, it's still a noticeable jump from other similar places. And while the chicken is very good, it's not necessarily the best in Atlanta--though it's definitely in the top tier. Another thing that stood out was the lack of lower-cost or smaller portion options. There were only half and whole birds available, with no quarter bird or sandwich options, which makes it difficult for someone looking for a more affordable or lighter meal. It feels like they're missing an opportunity to appeal to a broader lunch crowd. In short: it's pricey, but you're getting high-quality, expertly prepared Korean fried chicken. Just be prepared to spend a bit more--and maybe come hungry.

The bowl had greens, rice, japchae noodles, kimchi and an egg. Liberal dose of spicy sauce over everything. Tofu was crispy, noodles were savory. Kimchi had the sauce too which detracted from the traditional taste but still tasty. Was very impressed.

Someone brings you the food, but you put up your plates and stuff at the end of your meal. They also have a station for you to grab your own to-go containers and bags. The first thing to be aware of is to not let any of the photos fool you! The portions are very generous. Many people around me ended up taking to-go boxes (myself included). I got the Kang Nam chicken, the half-sized tteokbokki, and the kimchi fried rice. The chicken was crispy and tender, and the white sauce with onion was incredibly delicious. The kimchi fried rice was also very flavorful as well. The spices balance very well together. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the regular tteokbokki. It wasn't bad per se, but it also wasn't good either. I think there are better places to get tteokbokki, but no worries, their focus and strength here is obviously in their fried chicken. I would come again and would recommend this place to other people.

The pita chips were freshly fried and so good, but that cheese dip and peach jam were top-notch!They had a good crowd inside for a Sunday afternoon and we sat on the patio which is super cute and dog-friendly. I was too full for dessert but the desserts are homemade and I wish I had saved room. I'm a huge fan of a place that makes their desserts I sight and it's not too common anymore.
