The woman working was quite possibly the dumbest person i've ever met. When we walked it, we waited at an empty counter for 2 minutes and then she walked by us and then into the back, which I wouldn't mind if she even acknowledged it when we said hello. We asked for a black and white malt, which is what I usually get at Haagen Dazs, and she seemed confused, so we explained what was in it and then she started to make it and we asked if it had malt in it, since we didn't see her put it in. She then told us that they do not have malt, which would've been good to know before she actually made the drink, and then insisted that we didn't ask for a malt, and stared at us for another minute before going to to the register for us to pay for the ice cream that we did get, and also didn't respond when we asked for her name. Go to Sloans instead, it's right across the street, same price, much friendlier and the ice cream is just as food or better. read more

Well this is the new location for the ice cream store and it is a good one. I do like that it is near Swinton and Atlantic in downtown. I had an issue with my gift cards that the store did not recognize them and wouldn't honor them. They said they weren't good. When I got home I had to call the person whom authorized the cards (regional manager) and they didn't know why the store didn't honor them .they gift cards were good and they think the store didn't know what they were doing. Oh boy. Going forward I hope the store/employees figure out these kinds of things a bit smoother! I want to be a patron but not if this kind of thing keeps happening. read more

During restaurant week in downtown Delray Beach (which, BTW, is a fabulous idea!), we stopped by the Haagen-Dazs on Atlantic for their BOGO sundae deal. The only thing better than one Haagen-Dazs sundae is two of them! The sundaes are stacked in plastic cups with either two or three scoops of ice cream and whatever toppings you want. We had a banana split sundae with a variety of fresh fruits (to offset the guilt of the ice cream - ha ha!) We also had a made-to-order sundae with Irish Cream Brownie ice cream (one of the new "spirits" flavor), raspberry white chocolate ice cream, and cookies & cream ice cream, with mini M&Ms sprinkled throughout. Yummm! All of the ice cream flavors were rich and creamy.... just what you'd expect from premium ice cream. The gal serving us was very friendly and helpful. Visited this new Häagen-Dazs location this weekend and I highly recommend it! Häagen-Dazs is one of my favorite ice cream chains and I'm glad they finally opened one in Downtown Delray. I came in and was greeted by Ale. He was very welcoming and suggested one of the new flavors, which is what I ended up getting! My friend got a milkshake, and that too was delicious. It is a very cute ice cream shop in town, and out of all the other ice cream shops on the street that I've tried, this will definitely be the one I return too!! read more

Disappointed in our first online order and delivery last night with Grubhub. Typically the dazzlers and milkshakes are full of ice cream with whipped cream and caramel or chocolate sauce depending on the flavors. Last night we tried to order what we always get and we didn't even get to select the size we wanted or add any toppings. So we waited around 45 mins for 2 small very milky milkshakes that lacked the quality and overall flavor of a typical milkshake from this location. We are regulars and typically come in every weekend and spend around $ 18 or so on two large milkshakes/ dazzlers every time. But last night spent over $30 and received smalls that were very milky and runny. Highly upset with the entire experience, we made the decision to pay way more then normal when we live 3 miles away just to see if it was worth it. It would have been if it was done how it usually is when we go in and it was not at all. It's a shame because we genuinely always enjoy this store, the amazing product and the employees that usually work on weekends every time we come in. read more
