Amazing service. Good quality. The only reason for 4 stars is that they really need to get some air purifiers in there. Is musty covered up with glade freshener and the panels on the drop ceiling need to be replaced. These couple adjustments could make this place really shine! I've had two bridesmaid dresses altered here and both times the quality has been good and the price great. The second dress I got altered I specifically asked them to keep the scraps as another bridesmaid needed them for her dress; they said that wouldn't be a problem at all. When I picked up the dress a week later, no scraps and no apology. I asked them about it and it seemed like they immediately knew they had messed up by throwing them away. They then blamed the owner on it, saying he must have tossed them when he was in there cleaning. My question, then, was - why were they on the ground and/or not set aside for me as I had specifically requested? No answer. Completely unapologetic, did not offer a discount or anything. They said they'd call if they found the scraps...but I'm guessing they aren't going to be going through the garbage. I won't be taking another garment here ever again. read more

Almost a year later the staff here is still super nice and friendly as ever and the quality of the dry cleaning remains top notch. However, I've recently tried them for alterations and they are AWESOME. Being 5 feet tall, I frequently have pants that need to be hemmed. I took two pairs to H&M and I seriously did a double-take when I got them back. The hem looked identical to what it was originally, to the point where I initially thought they hadn't hemmed them at all. They are that good. If you don't have your alterations already marked off, they have a nice and private curtained off section for you to try on your clothing and have them measure you for the alteration. For $8 each, this is definitely the lowest alterations price I've seen around and great quality of work! Will definitely keep bringing my alterations here! read more

The lady who greet us at the front desk is very sweet always smiling and ready to help! I have been using this place service for years now and my daughter started using their alteration services. Very fast and quality service! Not sure if the nice lady is the owner but last time i was there, the little room was pretty hot depsite the weak air conditioner and i could see her all flushed from the extreme heat though she still delivered 1st class service! We were in there for few minutes and we felt the discomfort of the heat so i can't imagine how she manages all day enclosed there when summer temp exceeds 90s! I know for sure she is a hard worker and owner or not she makes all the difference in retaining satisfied customers like me . I thought I would test drive this dry cleaner out since it's literally around the corner from my apartment and I had to say goodbye to my favorite cleaner in Boystown, but sadly I was a tad disappointed. I brought 2 white winter coats and 3 sweaters in on a Wednesday and the nice woman at the counter said she'd have them ready by Saturday, quick turn around. I was pleasantly surprised that all 5 pieces only cost $40 all together. Saturday morning rolls around and I headed over to retrieve my clothes, it was a tad early so one of the coats wasn't quite ready, no big deal I'll grab them later. Picked them up later that day and to my own naivety did not look them over before paying, I guess I just assumed everything would be pristinely clean. They weren't. Once I got home I started to put away my coats and realized it looked as if one hadn't even been cleaned at all. Still coffee stains and such on there from last season. I had to take it to another cleaner to be re-cleaned! Check your clothes over before paying for them. I'm giving three stars because the employees were very sweet and it was cheap. Maybe this one time was just a oversight. read more

I took in some items on Monday. Some were for dry-cleaning and some were for alterations. I was able to pick them all up on Thursday morning. The customer service was superb. I have no complaints. The alterations were done amazingly well. The pieces look as if they had never been touched as far as the workmanship and finishing goes. Other reviews I read said that this place has great prices. That part I don't exactly agree with. My dry clean pieces ranged in price from $8 to $12 and my alteration pieces were $18.99. My total bill was a little over $82. I have no problem paying for great service and quality work, so I am satisfied. I will be returning to this cleaners for as long as the quality and service remains as it is. read more

We really like this place! The staff is very friendly and the prices can't be beat. We started going there after reading a Yelp review, and have continued to go since finding them about a year ago. If you have a stain, they will find it, and take it out like nobody's business. Again, I can't say enough about their prices. They are beyond reasonable. Oh my goodness! I needed a shirt laundered for a memorial service in 2 days. The shirt had a pretty rough streak, and the woman told me she couldn't guarantee she could get it out. As it was quite bad, I totally understood and just asked her to do her best. I came back the next day, and the shirt looked brand new! Unbelievable! When I paid, I tried to tip and pay a little extra for the amazing experience. But the woman refused, and insisted on giving me my change back, to the penny. She stated "That's my job." Went to a dry cleaner by my place (Berteau/Lincoln) and they charged me $20 for a hem because they were "extra wide" pants. Brought another pair (same pants diff color) to this place & the woman suggested a drawstring on the bottom so I could wear two different ways and only charged $10! Then I brought a coat to shorten the sleeves for my daughter & she rolled them up which I didn't even think of and it looks super cute! She said, "Now she can wear for two years." H&M Cleaners just performed a last-minute alteration on a dress I have to wear for a wedding. The price was $80 cheaper than House of Brides' quote and they did a fantastic and quick job. I paid $41 for hemming and dry cleaning of 6 pieces. This place is one of the most affordable places I could find here. Great work on both the hemming and dry cleaning! I dropped off a large load of dry cleaning here a few months back including a dress that needed to be cleaned and altered. Everything came back immaculate including the dress that was beautifully altered and cleaned when I was skeptical as to whether or not it could really be restored after a wild night on a wedding dance floor. Dry cleaning is always ready within a couple days. I lost some weight recently and to save money decided to get some clothes altered instead of buying new. They did an excellent job and are super nice! I've heard rumors of $8 alterations which isn't quite accurate, but maybe those individuals only had pants hemmed. The two dresses which I had drastically altered were $25 each which is still a bargain compared to other places in the area. I needed to take my winter coats to a cleaners but I kept reading such awful reviews about so many places! I was concerned I would drop my coats off somewhere and be very disappointed when I picked them back up. I FINALLY found H&M and they had good reviews so I figured I would try them out. They did a great job! I am very pleased with their service! It was easy to drop everything off and pick it up. Everything was cleaned once with no problems. I go here about once a week to drop off / pickup my work shirts and pants. They remember my name and are very friendly! Aside from the service being great, the quality is great as well! I drive there and there is always parking right in front on the street. It's pay to park on the street, but i'm in and out so fast, i never bother paying. Couldn't ask for more! read more
