I'm really diggin this store! Not only is it huge, well organized, and moderately priced. believe it or not but i hate clothes shopping. HATE it. hate the lines, hate trying on clothes and hate trying to find the *best* prices. That's why i don't mind it here. I found men's and women's christmas presents. moderately priced without going all out cheap lol. Trendy stuff but classy as well, if you know what to look for. i got a great pea coat that was actually very well made and 50% off. plus accessories that i'm gonna divvy up as stocking stuffers. While in the store the other day my BF mentioned that he felt too old in the store. i think it was the overly trendiness of the place that overwhelmed him. again you just need to know your own fashion sense before going in. theres a lot of different styles in with a meshing of forever 21 esque to american eagle and guess looks. ANd yes, you are too old if you think you are. They do need to work on the check out line though. As there is no clearly defined marker of where it starts it leaves us standing tentatively in a pseudo line that begs the question from most ppl walking by, "are you in line?" NO Shit. i just like standing here like a dolt staring at the cashier like i have nothing else to do. And what is up with the HUGE column running midway through the cashwrap? like they shouldve done some store planning before leaving that as the centerpiece for check out. read more

I was one of the losers who camped out for the grand opening. My best friend had camped out for the one in SF and got a $200 gift card. Needless to say, Id sit in front of a closed store front at 2 am in the cold wearing 2 pairs of leggings while playing jenga in some dark parking lot for some free money. (for those who are curious.. i only got a $5 gift card. wah) i would say that the clothing selection was mediocre at best. Nothing beats the one in Union Square. They had a lot of the same style of shirt but just in different colors, so if you couldn't find one shirt that you liked, you most likely wont find anything that day. The shoe selection is really good here though. But make sure you keep an eye out as they are usually hard to find withing different displays. I would not recommend going here on a weekend unless you want to lose your toes to amputation because too many careless moms with strollers run them over. read more

I love H&M. The clothes are cute and cheap. However, I'm not a big fan of the Great Mall H&M. The employees are fairly young, which makes sense, but they just stand around talking. I'm not sure who they are talking about but they just stand around you talking and talking the whole time. It's very uncomfortable. And standing in line to purchase an item or to change is a pain. I didn't even try on my clothes today. I just bought it and when to the other ridiculously long tine. There are only a total of three registers and there's one register where you can't see the cashier and the cashier can't see you. So he/she will be saying NEXT IN LINE for a few minutes and nothing will happen because nobody can see each other. read more

I had an H&M blazer on. My friend comes over, gives that nod of approval, flips open one side of the jacket to get a closer inspection, and says "nice jacket, where'd you get it?" What you didn't know is he never shops anywhere less than Armani or Diesel. Needless to say, he's now been converted. I shop here mostly for the great fit (most brands don't fit a skinny 5'8" asian guy well) and decent styles, at extremely affordable prices. This was my favorite place to shop for awhile, and is still a must when I go to the Gmall. It's located right across from a Guess, and I like going to both. The clothing here is pretty cool, although you see some very Euro centric clothing sometimes e.g. male short shorts (I kid you not). This is a good place to go for an inexpensive suit, that fits well. That's assuming of course you're in decent shape or skinny. They sells LOTS of accessories, and you know how women are with accessories. Overall, if I had the money I'd buy everything in the guy's section (excluding the male short shorts). read more

I absolutely love H&M! I never come out of this store with nothing. I always end up finding something I like and buying it. They have a womens, mens, and children section! Bring your whole family why don't cha, I'm sure you guys will all find something! I love it when they have sales. Good stuff for good price. I recently came here when they had undies and bra sale! Bras were only $7 and undies were $5! They have the cutest leggings, blazers, and crop tees here. They got all types of clothing here; casual wear, work attire, nights out attire, sleepwear, swimwear, and bunch of accessories. Staff is always friendly. The only reason why I took off a star is because it frustrates me how they place their cashier register in the middle. They have two of them, one in the front and one in the back. Usually they just use the one in the front.... Uhmm what about the one in the back? Especially when they get really busy on the weekends, the lines get really long and makes it difficult for people to get around and shop. They should change this up though. read more

I'm so shocked they decided to open an H&M out of all places---the Great Mall. So it's that time of year where I needed to get some reasonably priced, trendy apparel for my friends and family for Christmas. Wow, when I get to the Great Mall, I'm stoked that it wasn't packed at all and I didn't have to line up to get into the store considering this place opened up 2-3 weeks ago. I hyped myself up for this store and I left with that feeling, "meh, it's ok". As much as I really like H&M, I feel that their taste has gone a little downhill as of late. I don't know what it is. Also, this location is nowhere near the size of the one in SF even though they have a men's section. I'm still probably going to drive up to SF when I need my H&M fix. read more

Whenever I am in need of clothes to wear, H & M rarely disappoints. I must say that their customer service is trashy. I would've given them 5 stars but their employees suck. Customer service-wise, I would give 0 if I could but the dressing room lady was pretty nice so she earned some stars. So I was about to pay and noticed a really long line. I decided to walk around some more and try on more clothes and cross my fingers that by the time I'm done, the line will be gone. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! I got to the register and there were 3 employees talking. They knew I was there, but decided to still talk. I walked up to the register anyways. She was in such a hurry. I hate people like that. I would honesty avoid this location. First of all the employees are rude. Most not all but majority of them when I was here didn't understand or apparent don't know what it's like to work in retail. (I've worked in retail) there was two girl workers in a the fitting room on 9/13 around 8:15pm. The girl said to me "when you're done hang your clothes back on the hangers. Thank you. " in the most sarcastic with a fake smile. Apparently another girl coworker had a problem with another costumer in regards hanging their clothes back. i'm sorry as much as i shop at h&m this location has a rude staff! I came here with my boyfriend back in January because he was going to LA/Vegas and needed some last minute items. We walked out purchasing a couple of items which we always do. We walked out the store and headed right but changed our minds and wanted to go back to Anderson bakery... & for some reason one of the workers followed us out and said he appreciates if we put clothes back where they belong. EXCUSE ME! was it even necessary for you to even follow me out the store? Let alone make such a rude comment when you work at retail store?! Youre job is to fold and put clothes away! they're called "go backs." Why the hell are you giving me attitude when I'm giving you something to do. RUDE RUDE RUDE I came in to return items that my mom didn't like. The guy helping me was clueless as hell, messing up a couple of times and needing the manager to come to void the transaction. When he finally got it, I asked for cash back since it was brought with a giftcard and under $10 they will cash out. My total was $7.52 and I honestly did not want that on a gift card cause what can you REALLY get with 7 bucks without having to chip in extra? The guy calls his manager in to ask if that was okay to do. She comes in and tells me that I cannot have cash back. I question her because at the Santana row H&M, they would allow it. My sister who was with me tries to find her receipt of when Santana row gave her cash back for the gift card. Immediately the manager goes, "LET ME SEE IT. I AM ACTUALLY FROM THERE AND THEY CANNOT DO THAT. LET ME SEE THE RECEIPT" as she sticks her hand out waiting. I ask her why the hell is she giving me attitude and why is she yelling and she goes "I'm not yelling" in a sassy tone. How the fuck is this person a manager?! Aren't managers suppose to be calm and problem solvers? You work in retail, customer service is suppose to be priority. I have never had such a bad experience where a MANAGER yells at a customer. Probably the worst H&M I've possibly been to, but only because of their REALLY RUDE customer service. You'll find the most arrogant and bitchiest workers here who will not take their time to help you whatsoever. If you want a certain price check because the sign says it's a certain price and it rings up as a different price, they won't even bother. On one of my visits here, I wanted to purchase this black sweater. It was on sale (original price ~$19) but it rung up as original price. I kindly told the lady cashier that it was on sale and there were other sweaters - the SAME EXACT STYLED SWEATER, with the sale priced tag on them.. this other male cashier decides to cut into our situation and tell me that it's not on sale. So the lady walks over to "check" the price to make sure, but as me and my bf keep an eye on her, ALL SHE DOES IS JUST GO TALK TO A CUSTOMER...NOT EVEN WALK TO THE RACK WHERE MY SWEATER IS.. AND COME BACK AND TELL ME THAT IT'S NOT ON SALE. Not to mention, she gave me some seriously RUDE ATTITUDE. I'm so glad my bf pulled me out of there, otherwise there would be some serious problems up in there. It's not hard to just kindly tell me that there must have been a mistake on the price tagging or signs.. and it's definitely not hard to mind your own business. This review is for the experience I had this evening at this location. After picking out a bodysuit and few pairs of shorts I headed over to the fitting rooms. After I walked in I heard a female voice saying something like "ew did that girl just walk into the fitting room with the lingerie bodysuit wtf" and then continued to talk smack LOUDLY while I was two feet away with her 3 co workers. At this point I felt so humiliated I didn't try anything on and just walked out. FYI I was going to purchase it since I saw it online and found it in store too. I just found it to be so rude and totally unprofessional of them to do that. HM needs to better screen their employees. From now on I will only go to their valley fair location. I love H&M and its collection. It never seems to disappoint me and I have absolutely no issues with this particular store as well. The issue I have is with the store manager - MARIO. Outrageously RUDE, absolutely no sense of customer service. I walked into the store for a few returns and walked in into a line that I thought was fast moving. (I assumed there were two lines). I had one person ahead of me who was being assisted by Mario at the billing counter and I waited right after him for my returns. Please note there was another person at the cashier assisting the other line. Right after the person ahead of me was done mario looked at the person from the next line and assisted her, 3 minutes later he again looked at the person from the next line and attended to that customer ( he took 3 customers from that line). So after he was almost done, i just walked up, placed my returns on the table and said I think I'll go next cuz I have been waiting in this line and you have not bothered to look at me. Mario had a cheesed off face and replied "excuse me but thats not even a line, how am i supposed to know you are waiting for billing, you've got no item in your hand, just thought you are with some lady here. Also, you could have asked if you were waiting that long whether this is a line or not. You will need to get back to the original line, if you need assistance!" Firstly, i don't see a reason for him to be rude. If i was asking to be assisted, any cashier can just help or at least be respectful to your customers. read more

So, I will start by saying that the customer service is the reason this rating is so low. I understand that this is an outlet store, but it doesn't mean that a brand with such a great reputation should be heisted by the word, "outlet." My husband, daughter, and I were here last night, on our way out when we passed by. I really wanted to take a looksey and because it was towards closing time, rushed to get there. We approached the store, with 15 minutes to spare, and there was an employee guarding the front entrance. She rudely stated that they were no longer allowing customers in because they have a long line for purchases, and they wouldn't be able to close the store on time if they kept letting people in. I understand this completely. In that case, their store hours should state that they close at 8:45PM. But that really isn't the problem, is it? The problem is the way the message was given- in a rude, hoity toity manner. RUDE. I prefer other H&M's anyway, but still expect good customer service. In the end, this is an outlet store, with outlet prices, and outlet goods, with worse then H&M service. read more

This H&M is fantastic, probably the best I've ever been to. I like H&M clothes for trendier pieces, because they're so affordable and you don't care if they only last a season or two. But previously I've been very put off by H&M stores that are in disarray and have insane lines for dirty dressing rooms. This store is really, really nice. Everything is very well organized, there was no line for the dressing room, and the staff was friendly and efficient. There were about 20 people in line ahead of me to check out but the line moved very quickly. I left with two sweaters, one work dress, one holiday party dress, one blazer, and one winter coat, and because its H&M all that was around $200! read more

They only have one fitting room though, I don't know if that was just because I didn't see the other ones, or just because it's semi-new, they're still working on it. This has got to be the worst H&M ever. Probably half my wardrobe is from H&M because their clothes are nice and affordable. This store, however, sucks! It's cluttered and disorganized. Also, they don't have a computerized inventory system. Seriously?! This is 2014. I asked if they had a pair of pants in another size, and the worker told me "all we have is whatever's out there." K, big help there, bud. The worst, though, was this girl Jennifer. I went to return some stuff, on which I had used one of those $10 merchandise credit things. Well, after she had already done the return, I realized that she didn't give me back the $10 store credit, and when I asked her why, she said that you don't get those back. BS. At Santana Row, they ALWAYS give it back. I was steaming, but it was too late. Then, I went to buy a pair of pants, which had a red sticker on them that said $15. She said that the sticker was placed incorrectly, and that these were the new stock, so they couldn't be $15. I argued that they should honor the price it's marked. If one of their incompetent employees screwed up, that's on them. Anyone else would've given it, and I should've asked for the manager. Her actions weren't what upset me, though. It was her apathy and rude attitude. No hi, bye, thank you, nothing. No smile either. From the get-go, I could tell she would give me trouble, and of course she did. I hope she reads this, and I hope her supervisor reads this. This girl needs to be fired - she has no place in retail with such horrible customer service. This is a great place to shop for that simple, yet trendy and stylish look. There's a variety of different looks for guys, girls, and even kids. The best part of shopping here is that it's relatively inexpensive and they got some cool stuff comin out all the time. At this particular store, their men's section, for whatever reason is a bit condensed...but that is kind of a good thing. Most guys know what they're looking for when it comes to shopping for clothes and they want to get in and get out. Many times I come here, I find cool markdowns on some stuff that used to be definitely overprised. Staffing-wise, c'mon...youngsters workin retail...it's not like you're at some high-end fashion boutique so don't expect too much customer service, although the people workin the fitting room are usually cool and well-mannered even if they are hella busy at times. I love H&M clothes and for the first time ever encountered a problem probably because I shopped online and that apparently is a "different entity" than the store. So I wanted to return some clothes that were a size 12 when my receipt very clearly mentioned I had ordered a 10. Also, when I got the package they sent me a sheet saying they have changed the sizes. Anyway long story short, this particular H&M store made such a big deal out of the whole process that it turned into a horrific experience. The cashier there Stephanie something was exceptionally unprofessional/ rude, and shook her head at us like we don't understand shit. The Manager finally came to our rescue, gave us store credit but again wasn't the greatest person to interact with. They could have just avoided all this back and forth if one of them was civil enough to understand the real issue. Anyway, deleting the app for sure and never going back to this nasty store!! I didn't know it was opening on Dec 15 but I happened to be at Great mall yesterday. I think I went in the store later in the evening (4 or 5pm). I waited in line for like 5 minutes... the line wasn't long. Anyway, I got in and browse around. The clothes are cheap compare to many other stores but the quality is not as good. I got a jacket (50% off) and some baby socks. After I paid, the cashier put in a pack of 4 or 5 pairs of chopsticks (black color chopsticks with H&M logo on them) in my shopping bag. I am not sure if that was the grand opening special free gift or what. :) I forgot to ask her... Anyway, since the stuffs there are not expensive, I may pick up a few more pieces of children clothes there in the future. read more
