The nurses who were involved in my procedures were not focused, mingling amongst one another/distracted, it was very unprofessional. I went to one of the top surgeons in the world located in Sofia, Bulgaria Dr. Zarev for a consultation. Arguably one of the best surgeons in the world when dealing with high Norwood cases. The grafts placed in my hairline didn't look natural at all. A lot of gaps, no single grafts along the hairline, and very pluggy appearance, and large punch sizes, a lot of see through due to the grafts not being placed in an angle. Dr. Zarev told me I would be a repair case. A surgeons job to over see and Dr. Canales failed at that. In my follow ups with Dr. Canales it just seemed like he didn't care about my concerns. My growth in the crown from the transplant never grew and he kept saying they will grow and that was 2 year follow up. I have learned a lot about hair transplants in the last few years and have learned from my mistakes in terms of choosing a surgeon. Thankfully even after my botched hair transplants I have 8,800 grafts left for a lifetime with Dr. Zarev the surgeon I consulted with due to higher level of donor management and tools. This clinic is amateur in comparison to other clinics abroad and technology is behind. Do your research! Go on the hair transplant network forum and research these Dr's. The results are sub par they don't look natural and the thing with hair transplants you want them to look like nothing ever happened. And don't be fooled by Dr. Canales in studio cameras. The lighting favors the results, but when you look in close view or sunlight the results are not there. Yes you will never get your original density as you once did. But there are clinics that will mitigate the see through effect on transplants. Nurses should not be implanting grafts it should be the surgeon! They should only sort the grafts into single, doubles, and triples. The surgeon at the end should implant them. Hope this helps. A hair transplant is a really personal thing and important if you don't have a surgeon who is involved and cares they can ruin your donor.

I bought many toppers online claiming to be real hair, none of them worked, color was off, style was off and they are all in the garbage now! Then I went to another "hair loss specialist"salon also in San Mateo and was required to pay $100.00 for a consultation which was really about selling me extensions that are glued in and need redoing frequently at a hefty charge. This is after I clearly said I didn't want extensions. I was offered the option of buying a topper that would cost over $3k. There were no sample toppers in various styles to try on before sinking thousands of dollars site unseen and not returnable. The only samples there were to show color and all were long straight hair, no shorter styles, nothing curly. You'd basically need to special order it and fingers crossed, you like it because there are no returns. Why she couldn't have purchased some samples herself to have for potential customers to try before buy, I don't know..... I was also required to sign a legal contract before my consultation stating that I won't write a negative review, and allowing a photo release. And a bunch of other no-no's. All just to be ABLE to come in! None of this ridiculousness with Kelly though, just good products, displaying lots of sample styles and colors to try on and choose from. Great products, great service and prices that are literally HALF the cost of the other salon and fast too!, less than a week! I'll be a lifetime happy customer of Kelly Dinger!

The $3000 topper she sold me was shedding so profusely that there were hairs all over my entire house from this thing just shedding on its own everywhere. When I finally had it removed after 2 1/2 months Emily of course was out of town so her aid removed it and when she did so she removed most of my hair on top of my head. It was the most painful situation I've been through in a very long time. She was lying to me and telling me it was natural shedding that she was removing when in fact, I have no hair left on top of my head so now it is very difficult for me to go back to my clip in toppers because I have so little hair left. I have been working so hard for the last two years to get my hair to grow back and it was doing so much better. Emily promised me that the solution to remove the glue was easy Peezy and would come right off NOT damage my own hair. It was excruciating. I was the first client of the morning, so I looked in the garbage can and saw the piles of my hair in there so I know how much came out. Things for you to think about before you EVER agree to have anything glued to your head by Emily. The cost of this piece is really expensive as I've priced it out with other pieces so her prices are high. The quality of her pieces are subpar as they literally shed all the time. And the itching is unbearable. No matter how often you wash it. She told me I should just shave my head to make it easier? WTF? She also doesn't mention that you will need to come back every six weeks to have this taken off and reapplied and that's $450 a visit. She also doesn't give you full instructions on how to care for it, how to wash it properly. She will tell you in a hurry while she's doing 3 other things... oh by the way, go to YouTube look at my videos! I told her in person that wasn't adequate, she needed to have more information available on how to care for these. The removal is brutal! Her commercial grade glue does not come off easily and they literally just pull your hair out! My scalp was so damaged! And if you read the reviews and you go down to the hidden reviews, you will see other people saying the exact same thing that I am saying.
