The meat was incredibly tender and--perfectly for me--wasn't heavy on the tendon. We started with the shrimp spring rolls, which were absolutely delicious and super fresh. Beyond the food, the service was top-notch; they were quick with our order and stayed attentive throughout the meal. We also just discovered they serve sushi now! We've been to the watauga location before which is owned by the father. The Carrollton location is owned by the son. It's newer and more modern and bigger than the original location. They also had a lot more workers too. They have the same recipes for the pho and banh mi. But Kelly said the drinks and Bbh were different so we had to get them. It did not disappoint. Got the da chanh which is their limeade. Just like my mama makes it. Their coffee is different too she said. I loved my BBH. It did impress me. The meat was tender. Going back to pho, their broth has been consistently good every time - I never had a problem having their broth too salty, too bland, or too sweet. Personally thought they were great and soul-warming. My favorite is Garlic Pho (as I mentioned above) because I love how garlic blends with their broth. I am a huge fan of garlic although someone else may hate me for smelling like garlic. The garlic adds that "nutty"? more like garlic-y flavor to make their broth more rich. Although I've tried all of their pho, I wish they had spicy option or something on side to make it spicy (and no, not sriracha). Also, I have not yet tried their non-pho menu.
