We love to grab THE BEST wide noodles here! I usually order the basil beef flat noodle and my husband ordered the chicken curry flat noodle. Both were excellent and the portion sizes are huge! I appreciate that the food is so fresh and piping hot when it arrives. The servers here are very kind and attentive. The restaurant and toilet areas are very clean. We have been here many times and will most certainly return. We have had a nice experience every time we come here and we have dined in the restaurant many times. The soups are outstanding as well! This place has got to be the worst pho spot I've ever been to. My husband was craving bun Bo hue and their menu had something called pho tai Bo hue. First of all, my husband is Vietnamese and he had no clue what the heck that dish was. Our server was a Hispanic guy and also had no clue what it is. He asked him what it tasted like and he said "it tastes good." He asked him what was in it and he had no clue. We tried to get the Vietnamese server's attention to ask these questions but she just completely ignored us. The pho broth was pretty standard, but I could make better at home. Meatballs not good. Portion size not great. My husband's dish was like an instant noodle soup flavor that barely had any toppings. It was some kind of Thai soup bo hue thing WHATEVER it was suppose to be. We also ordered egg rolls and he forgot to put that in, even though I repeated the number and name twice. The food overall was very good. The service was good too and everything came out quickly. I ordered the seafood pho and while everything was tasted wonderful, there was a huge issue with the shrimp. They hadn't removed the literal poop that shrimps have on them. It was so nasty and I'm glad I stopped to take the tails off and notice that. Authentic, affordable Vietnamese food. The pho came within 5 minutes of ordering. Broth was about average, but my beef stew (S6) was very good. They were generous with the beef, which was succulent and tender. We also ordered egg rolls, which were subpar, however. The portions are rather small as well, so if you can eat, make sure to get a large instead of a regular sized bowl of pho. Lots of seating and parking, and is open fairly late. I'd go back again, but wouldn't make a trip out to Carrollton/Lewisville specifically for it. read more

I used to come here to eat lunch all the time. I came here the other day and it was terrible. The chef had changed because the food is completely different. I usually order the seafood curry noodles, and this time all the seafood is rotten and it went bad. They try to serve it to us anyway. We ordered veggie eggrolls and they gave us pork eggrolls. This is my regular pho place since 10+ years but lately, I've been disappointed in few ways. Their portion has drastically decreased from just few months ago, it smells a little funny, and the service wasn't the greatest. But what I normally get is the basil beef flat noodles and pho (changes around from P6, P13, and P15. But as mentioned earlier, last time we went was just two weeks ago and ordered large pho and the size looked like it was either regular or even small. The basil beef flat noodles also seems to have increased a lot in portion which is really ridiculous despite how the prices increased. Pretty tasty! So we recently moved to Coppell, TX and have a slew of different restaurants to try. As we were awaiting for our fridge, as the rental didn't have one, we decided to try this place. It certainly did not disappoint. The vegetables egg rolls were crispy and filled with pork. Not exactly vegetable but they were good. I had the Flat Noodle Pad Thai. We normally eat this but it's a bit different here as it has a nice kick to it with a reddish spicy sauce. The wife had the chicken Pho and she couldn't get enough. It's all about the broth! The broth will make or break a PHO experience. There are several options in my area and PQH has always been the most consistent in quality, taste and service. During the week this place is always packed, so that's always a great sign. I've had multiple things off the menu, PHO, rolls, vermicelli bowls and rice plates. All have been excellent. My go to is the A5 (grilled pork rolls) and A13 (PHO with eye of round and brisket). The pork in the rolls is grilled to perfection, tender, delicious and the rice paper is perfect. The rolls are super fresh. The pho is phenomenal (thought about using a typical PHO pun but that's been overdone in many reviews. I'll save the cheesiness for some elbow macaroni). The both is hot, aromatic and delicious. The rice noodles are perfectly cooked with a little firmness and never mushy. Perfect blend of meat, noodles, broth, onions and green onions meld to create a bowl of delicious goodness. Take your side plate, add whatever other goodies you want (basil, cilantro, bean sprouts, jalapeño and lime), put in a little hoisin and sriracha and enjoy. I ordered the P1 (Special Combination Pho). I thought it was good! The broth was a tad bit less savory than I prefer, but it's nothing a little hoisin sauce can't remedy. I appreciate that there was actually a good amount of noodles. A lot of pho restaurants skimp out on noodles in favor of broth, so it's nice to see it the other way around for once! My friend ordered the S8 (Spicy Chicken Rice Noodle Soup). She said it was amazing and actually spicy, but she wishes more limes came on the side. We both ordered the Big Bowl size, and it truly is a hefty portion. If you are mild to moderately hungry, I think most people could easily split one bowl into two meals. Recently had dine-in experience with a couple of friends. Patrons were spaced out properly in the dining area, and select tables were closed off to maintain distance between dining patrons. Ordered a trio sampler and beef sandwich. Sampler items tasted fine. They were staple foods one would typically find on an Asian menu. The beef sandwich also tasted fine. I was kind of expecting more heat from my last experience in Las Vegas. But it's ok if you don't want to heat, I could have requested for some chopped jalapenos on the side. However, it seemed like there wasn't enough beef that would cover to the ends of the roll, so I was left with at least a bite-full size of bread. Overall, it was satisfying. I have come here off and on over several years. But this recent visit I should have walked back out. It smells like sewer in there. I still ordered my chicken pho to go. When I got home I portioned it out to eat half a bowl and it tasted fine. The next day I kept noticing a strong smell in my fridge and could not figure out what it was. That night I took out the cardboard container with the chicken and noodles and was reheating the broth separately. When I opened the container with the chicken I realized that is what was smelling in my fridge. The chicken had turned and was slimy. It was horrible. How is food that was just picked up the day before already rancid? Then when I thought about it, I literally had only a 3 minute wait for my to go package. This tells me they are prepackaging the noodles and chicken likely days in advance. There is no telling how many days that chicken had been cooked before I bought it. There is no other reason why food taken home would be bad the next day. Someone could get so sick from this. Disgusting. read more
