Had no idea what to expect when I walked in. You can order at the 2 (maybe three) kiosks or order at the counter. The cashier who helped us was patient and very nice to help us. We sat and just before our food was ready they let me know they didn't have any more sauce for their parm fries. I got green beans instead. My dad and I both really enjoyed our burgers and fries, and green beans. It was average loudness so we had an easy time chatting at the table. We ordered the habit from uber eats because they had buy 1 get 1 free lettuce wrapped burgers. OMG! I had no idea they did lettuce wrapped. I ordered mine with no sauce, caramelized onions, pickles, lettuce, and tomato. It was delicious and a game changer for me. I actually stopped eating the habit but I will definitely order this again. The burger had a nice char, the caramelized onions were perfect, and the cheese was melted. Even though the order was delivered by uber eats I have to say the service was good because the order was accurate and made to order. I had a couple of very good char burgers with cheese from this Habit burger. I ordered to go and had lunch at a nice local park. I asked for no mayo. The burgers were very tasty and I was happy they left out the mayo. They were a little under, which surprised me, but I like my burgers that way: medium to medium well. These were medium well. The lettuce was abundant, the tomatoes were fresh, and tender to the touch. If I were to make a complaint, which is not really a complaint, but of comment. Maybe a little lettuce next time. I feel like the way my order was made was intentional. I didn't tip because the sandwich doesn't have a meal option so it was already expensive. I got a garlic Parmesan chicken club. The only thing that came on was chicken, no bacon at all. Which makes it even more upsetting because it took longer than usual just for the order not even to be prepared correctly. Lastly, the AI system that answers your calls does not know how to route them. So consider that the reason you're getting a bad rating since a real person couldn't even answer the phone. I can't go back to restaurant due to circumstances. In the future please pay more attention to how you make someone's order. read more

The frozen chicken just left out to thaw on the counter really gets me. Check out the pic. The food took about 40 min and everyone seemed flustered and overwhelmed. My food was cold and my burger had one tiny piece of meat on it! When l told the PIC she said you ate it on the other half. The problem was the other half was the tiny part, and l have never ever ever had a burger like this before. After arguing she cooked me a patty to add to my bread. The burger was really peppery - I had never had it that pepper spicy before. I felt bad for my kid that also got the same. I also got the half and half of the fries with sweet potato fries but there was only a tiny bit of sweet potato fries. For the same price I'd definitely go for JUST the sweet potato fries next time, I feel jipped! I thought if i used a coupon code from my app id get credit or points for that automatically but I don't see it in my history. We had a really disappointing experience at The Habit Burger Grill (Store #0568) on 4/25/26 around 8:28 PM (Check #400), and as regular customers, this was honestly shocking. The chicken bites we were served were extremely hard and tasted old, like they had been sitting out way too long. Definitely not fresh. I took the chicken back, expecting a fresh remake. Instead, they brought back the order with a few new pieces AND the same piece I had already bitten into. That is completely unacceptable from a food safety standpoint. There's no excuse for re-serving returned food. On top of that, we ordered the fifty-fifty fries with onion rings and got only 4 onion rings. When I asked the manager if that was correct, I was told yes, which didn't seem right at all. Between the stale food, incorrect portions, and the way the situation was handled, this was a very poor experience. We come here often and expect much better. Hopefully management takes this seriously and addresses these issues, because this is not the level of quality or service customers should be receiving. read more

Horrible customer service, Stood waiting at the registers for 10 minutes before even being acknowledged despite the cashier ringing someone up right in front of us. Even after ordering we still waiting about 25 minutes for our food. Ordered Santa Barbra Char and the avocado was brown, meat was cold and not fresh whatsoever. When I went to complain at the registers I had to say excuse me 5 times before having to raise my voice for a worker to even acknowledge me yet again. Heard about this place and ventured in (on 8-29 at about 4PM) to see the hype. Walked in, four people behind the counter no one looking in our direction, no one in line. None of the employees acknowledged us coming in after some turned around and saw us. We took 2-3 steps inside and noticed a bunch of (probable) high school students loitering (no food or drinks on their table) and every empty table had trash on it, on the chairs, and pretty much every place you could walk around. I owned a food place and my motto was "if you have time to lean, you have time to clean" It's apparent there was no leadership around or they simply did care. I can only imagine if the front of the business is this dirty, God only knows how disgusting the back side of the business is . Definitely not a place to bring your family or anyone else for that matter. I didn't stick around and decided to head elsewhere for a bite to eat. This place deserved a zero star rating, having flunked every aspect of a food place. read more

They really need to update their hours. I showed up at 9:05 PM, and the lobby was already closed--even though their posted hours say they're open until 10 PM. After a long day at work and not wanting to cook, it's incredibly frustrating to make the trip only to find the doors locked early without any notice. If there lobby and drive thru hours are different, that should be indicated on their hours. The drive-thru seemed to be open, but the line was long, and based on past experience at this location, it usually takes over 30 minutes to get your food. I understand and appreciate that items are cooked to order, but I've been to many Habit locations across SoCal, and none are this consistently slow. Plus, I don't enjoy taking food to go because it's usually soggy by the time I get home. I've given this location multiple chances, but more often than not, there's some issue--whether it's long wait times, inaccurate orders, or a general lack of customer service. Sadly, the food has also been hit or miss. It's hard not to notice that the employees often seem unhappy to be there, which reflects in the service and overall experience. I'm not writing this just to complain--I genuinely hope management takes this feedback to heart and makes some improvements. I understand fast food workers deal with a lot and aren't always treated kindly (which is never acceptable), but it's still important to show some level of courtesy and care toward customers. Not everyone is rude, and a little kindness goes a long way. Unfortunately, this visit was the final straw for me. I won't be returning. read more

I ordered online pickup at habit grill and when I went in person to pickup my food they were insisting that I have to go to the drive through to get my pickup order. I could literally see my pickup order on the counter and they still insisted I got in line and waited an extra 10-15 minutes just to get my food that I see sitting on their counter.
