Very disappointed tonight. We went in just for two cheeseburgers and fries and waited and waited and waited. They were short-staffed but only two Cooks how many watched them put up fries and onion rings long before the burgers were ready for anyone's orders. Then one of the cooks tells the manager they can't keep up with the orders with only two of them back there and you should lock the front doors and yes he did lock the front doors at 6:30 p.m. on a Tuesday. 6:45 we finally got our order with cold fries that had been sitting there for at least 20minutes before our burgers. We went up to get our order and said to the young man that we've seen the fried beans sitting there for 20 minutes and where's your manager tonight he said he was the manager lol. We've never seen such poor Staffing and service at the Habit before, and I can't believe they lock the front door. This was awful we won't be back very soon. read more

Burger was good - Better than Five Guys. Can't believe they have such crappy fries for a burger joint though. No skins and they taste like frozen ones you'd stick in the oven. Now if I could only have the burger from here and the fries from Five Guys, I'd be in heaven. read more

I really like coming here, lots of healthy options for those who don't want pure hamburger bliss. I think the staff are well trained, the food is excellent, the prices are a little on the high side when compared to In n out but it's not crazy high. The location is great, the parking is ok. My only gripe is the line, it get's backed up real quick and they only have two registers. It's not the end of the world and is way better than the lines at In n out. My wife love the Habit and she doesn't like hamburger shops so that should say a lot. read more

Funny. When they first opened, they were cleaning the tables, floors, and bathrooms every 15 minutes. Now, after a few months and steady business i often find myself searching for a clean table. Food is what keeps me coming back though. read more

7-16-15, what a pleasant surprise to return to "The Habit". Since we had numerous bad experiences at the Murrieta store, we decided to try the Temecula store. Wow, it brought back great memories of the way we remember the Habit as a new restaurant in our area. This store was exceptionally CLEAN, friendly, eye contacting employees and fresh food. I love the Habit! Not only do they have options other than burgers but the food is always good. The Ahi burger is a nice option to have and always fresh and yummy. They have this summer berry salad, so good. I rarely get the burger because I'm always distracted by the other things on the menu. I'm about to commit a west coast sin in saying this but...I like Habit burgers more than In 'n Out!!! Using sliced sourdough instead of a bun is genius. I had the Santa Barbara burger. Fries are normal and properly salted. I like the variety of the menu. Would definitely go back again. read more

I don't know how they get that char on the hamburger patty but it sure makes a difference in the flavor. They may quite possibly have the world best onion rings. This place has a great burgers! I love the smell and taste of the charbroiled burgers over an open flame. It makes them have that smokey flavor that I loved. Be careful of how they ring up your order. My wife and I recently ate at this establishment and when we reviewed our receipt we had never seen 2 simple orders rung up in such a ridiculous way. I asked one of the employees to explain, and she said "that's the way the computer does it". I went back to our table and looked at it again, then I talked to the Manager. He said the same thing. It was such a convoluted answer that I can't even attempt to explain it. Turns out we were over-charged. It wasn't a large amount. The amount they over-charged isn't the issue. It's the way their computer is set up. The issue is, if every customer is being over-charged because of their computer set-up, well aren't they making a nice little extra profit? And, on a side note, the Manager was condescending in his approach. read more

Fresh, tasty, good food! Really nice clean place to eat. The staff are polite and friendly. Bathroom is really clean and well kept.

My bf and I both got the Santa Barbara style. I have a wheat allergy and they were able to wrap my burger in lettuce as well as using a separate fryer for my french fries. It was all delicious and most importantly I didn't get any cross contamination from gluten which is always scary. Very clean and personable employees! read more

Good prices. Ordered 2 veggie burgers, fries, onion rings and a kids meal for $20. The veggie burger was awesome with fresh veggies and a tasty bun. The fries and onion rings were just ok. Nothing special. In fact we probably wouldn't order either again. The service was ok. The employees were working hard but the open kitchen is chaotic and was pretty messy. The lone easy out the door and they only had one cahier working. It's a new location though so maybe they just need time and experience. Over all we will be back for veggie burgers. read more
