    Seriously?

Good night this is the worst place ever. I ordered fajitas, check this meat out- it looks like a pest strip! I brought it home for my dogs but decided to throw away. Over priced for sure, watery queso, and besides not being fajita meat, it was too tough for a chainsaw. Blackbeans need saving too, horrible. Ugh, save your time and money.

    Large guac & house rita!

I've tried additional items since my first review. Fajita nachos were mediocre. Mimosas are good but Bloody Mary was terrible. The choriwueso flameado is still great. Only bad thing is the extra avocado is not as the menu shows- the receipt had a higher amount. Frozen Rita's not as good as rocks;)

There are booths, tables, high top tables, a few picnic styles bench tables, and a pretty large deck. They recently added a side deck. It would be nice if it was covered and then perhaps some lattice or other barrier to keep the Texas sun off your back! I've tried several things on the menu and I've enjoyed them all. I've seen other meals delivered and they all look great too. Today I popped in for a late lunch and lucky me it was still Brunch O'clock. I wavered between the chicken and waffles and the burger. I saw the burger being delivered to a nearby table and it immediately solidified my decision- burger!! I am a burger and fries "foodie". ;) I'm very picky about my burgers and have eaten some of the best burgers in town. It was delicious! The fries aren't my favorite but decent. The burger was perfectly cooked and so was the egg (breakfast burger). I'd definitely get that again! The bartenders are friendly and they are hard workers. This definitely is a place where their systems are intact. They all work together and get orders out quickly. I'm guessing the bartenders and the waitresses all pool their tips. They all hustle. I sit mainly at the bar so I can see their work effort. I've done that job before so I know how hard it can be.

The people are friendly and the vibe is casual, with a lot of TVs around the bar to watch sports anywhere you sit. There's not too many bar options down in western south Austin, so this is a really good spot to meet up w its friends and watch a game while having some good food!

We also had cocktails. My friend had the Grapefruit 'Tini while I had the Pomegranate Lemon Drop Martini. We both enjoyed our drinks. I like flavored lemon drop martinis, and I'm not sure that I've ever had a pomegranate lemon drop before this visit. The bar is moderate in size, but they do have a patio area. There's this huge building that looks like an unassuming co-working space, but it turns out that there is a whole fun world behind it! They have a great setup: there's a little playground, a paddle board court, corn hole, etc to keep kids entertained and they had a huge screen set up to watch the game. And tents! Thank you for having tents and misters! The ambience is spot-on. Overall, we were happy with everything that we ordered to eat. The buffalo cauliflower bites were a bit too saucy, but nice and smoky. The CM Chopped Salad--which was NOT chopped--had a ton of good veggies and a fun dressing. Our daughter managed to finagle two orders of chicken fingers and those were slightly better than the normal junk that comes out. Cold beers on tap, Aperol Spritzes on a hot day--what is there to complain about? We were glad to be leaving when we did because the place was starting to get slammed and rowdy and not as appealing, so be mindful of the partying witching hour. But for a late afternoon World Cup meet-up with friends, this was a good time. Four stars.

The indoor is very beautiful and smells like cinnamon and apple (a scent that I love), especially going towards the bathrooms. Theres a bar section with plenty of seating and the room inside the restaurant is overall very spacious. I didn't see much of the indoor as I decided to sit outside in the patio. Although being during the Texas summer, the patio has plenty of (very powerful) fans! The view of the green belt next to the restaurant is amazing, and there is also an outdoor bar, which gives impeccable vibes. We ordered two starters and had plenty of food! My husband ordered the Barbacoa Stackers (slow roasted barbacoa, refried black beans, Jack cheese, JAK slaw, Cotija cheese) I personally loved them! The meat was tasty and juicy, the black beans were perfectly cooked and everything was so rich in flavor. Definitely a 10/10! I ordered the Homemade Buttermilk Biscuit, served with honey & seasonal fruit flavored butter (with a side of yummy bacon) Today they had strawberry flavor, and there was even strawberry jam. I have to be honest, THE BEST biscuits I've ever had in my life! And I love me some good biscuits! They were buttery and crumbly to the right point! The strawberry butter with the strawberry jam was the perfect combo! We were told the biscuits are made fresh every morning, and I love that! It was definitely a 1000/10! We also got some chips and salsa. Chips are very crunchy, and the salsa is spicy to the right point! Now I'm building my tolerance with the spicy and this salsa was really yummy, and can build up the spice! The waiter who served it to us, brought it over in a small mason jar and emptied it in the little container for our table, which was something I've never seen done like this. Definitely appreciated it! Makes me think they make their own salsa (forgot to check on that!) They also gave us a complimentary pita bread with pimento, and it was delicious! The pita bread was very crunchy and salty to the right point! They even gifted me a portion of peach and strawberry cobbler, topped with ice cream, for my birthday and it was insane! The flavor was perfectly sweet and mixed with the ice cream was very refreshing and still warm and melting in my mouth! Probably one of the best cobblers I've ever had! And keep in mind, we got here that we weren't feeling super hungry, and yet we were able to appreciate every single bite cause it was so good!! Last but not least - Ali, our server, was incredible! She was so nice throughout the whole dining experience and made sure we had everything we needed. She was so kind to ask if I could add peach puree to my freshly squeezed lemonade (which is a 10/10), and even made sure I had plenty of strawberry butter for my biscuits. We definitely took some leftovers home and I can't wait to have the remaining biscuit in the morning!

She was very friendly and did a good job. She gave us menus, took our drink order and then gave us time to look over the menu. When she returned we placed our order. My husband and I ordered the Nachos Grande to share. They are tortilla chips with beans, cheese, tomatoes, jalapenos, sour cream and salsa. We ordered ours with chicken. My husband didn't mind them but I thought that they were a little bit of a disappointment. They were smothered in cheese. There wasn't very much chicken in there and the chips were stale. Next I ordered a short stack of Buttermilk Pancakes which came with a small serving of butter and syrup on the side. My husband ordered the a short stack of Blueberry Pancakes. The only difference was that his came with fresh blueberries on top. The pancakes were thick, and filling. I enjoyed combining them with the other parts of my meal. My husband also enjoyed his pancakes. My husband and I also ordered breakfast tacos. We both ordered the Classic Breakfast Taco which comes with eggs, bacon, tator tots, and cheese. We both ordered our tacos without cheese. They came with salsa choices. I tried the red salsa and the green salsa. Both salsas were good. I preferred the green salsa and my husband preferred the red salsa. The combined ingredients made for a delicious taco. During our meal the waitress brought me a Migas Breakfast Taco which comes with eggs, tomato, crushed tortilla chips, onions, and jalapenos. This was a mistake because I actually ordered the Waterloo Migas which comes with eggs, tomatoes, onions. cheese, tortilla chips, jalapenos, a side of refried beans and a flour tortilla. Long story short. I mentioned the mistake. They put an order in for the Migas and eventually brought them out to me. They also said that I could keep the taco and removed it from the bill. Honestly the Migas Taco was better than the Waterloo Migas. The taco had more crushed tortilla chips than the actual Migas. Both were covered in way too much cheese with a plentiful amount of eggs. The refried beans were okay. They were saltier than I was expecting but they added flavor to the Migas. The flour tortilla was good. I ordered my Migas with Bacon. The bacon was okay. It had a lot of fat on it but it was crispy which is what I prefer. Overall the restaurant had plenty of seating, the service was good, and the food was just okay.
