I Went to buy pool shock, was informed by the clerk that I could only buy one 25lb bucket. This was bad enough but then she informed me that the limit is one bucket per month! When I asked why the limit was placed and so ridged I was told it's because there "may be a shortage of chlorine". To top this off the price has jumped at least 25% or more since this time last year!! Her attitude was unapologetic and completely indifferent. I went to Hacienda Pools because they carry an algaecide I like and no one else carries. I would have been ok with a reasonable sales limit of 2 or 3 buckets per sale but I am not ok with a business telling me I can only buy one in a month. I was looking for an adapter for a pool skimmer and stopped at my local pool store. That was a mistake. First I was admonished for coming into this location because I didn't have a below ground pool. The young lady at the counter seemed confused about how to help me so she asked her manager for help. The manager didn't even take the time to greet me and explain she had no intention to help me. They could have looked at my problem and perhaps looked into ordering the part I needed. But since I did not fit their demographic group. I was treated to the old go away we don't deal with your kind action. Moving to this area and wanting to build a relationship with local businesses. This location and all Hacienda pool stores have given me the information I need to never use or recommend them to friends who do have in-ground pool systems. I have used Hacienda pools for at least 8 years and they were always great until this last year I called on March 2 and asked them if could get my pool up and running by March the 10 and I called and rechecked that they were coming by the 10th and they said yes ( no one showed) Well spring break and still my pool is what I call winter dirty and nobody called or texted So it's time to find a Pool company that wants and need my business I will say this the original owners of Hacienda pool company were great on taking care of their customers but the new owners not so much So if you want a pool service that does they job and cares about their customers Hacienda pools is not that company Looking for new pool service!!! read more

My weekly pool service with Hacienda was initially excellent. After the snow/ice storm in February 2021, I had pvc pipes that froze and cracked. The company informed me that they could repair the damage. Despite multiple promises from the cleaning technician, it took until May to have them repaired. When I returned home after the repair was finished, I turned on the pump and it still leaked. I was promised many more times that it would be repaired soon. On June 11, I was told the technician would absolutely fix the pipes on June 14. After taking off work on the 14th to be home (to verify the repair), the technician never showed. I called the company at 5:00pm and was promised that the he would come on June 15. I instead canceled my service with this company due to their lack of timely repairs, lack of communication and overall poor customer service. The company did a good job with the weekly service, but their attentiveness to the repairs needed to fix my pvc pipes and get my pool up and running for the summer was unacceptable. What should have been a straightforward repair actually dragged out for four months and I still cannot get into the pool. read more

Hacienda Pools, was my go too supplier for years as their customer service was always awesome. Recently, something has definitely changed I certainly will no longer be a customer. Reason: Recently our pool pump cratered and needed to be upgraded to the newer e-pump, I contacted Hacienda Pools and ordered one, they had it the very next day. Reading the complexities of connecting the new pump I thought it wise to get a trained tech to do it. I called Hacienda Pools, made an appointment for their tech to come and install the pump, he would arrive after 2 pm I was told. Staying close to the house the day of the tech visit. I receive a call around 1:00pm telling me he wasn't going to make it today and would have to re-schedule it for the next day. I explain to him I have commitments the next day and it would have to be after 4:00pm when I can get home, no problem he says. The next day he arrives at 3:45pm just ahead of myself, I take him out the pool pump that needs to be installed, I had already removed the old pump. I helped him move stuff around to get the pump to fit so he could plumb it in. I also asked him to please remove the spa heater plumbing from the system. 10 minutes later he knocked on the door wanting to look at the remote which he played with for a few minutes then explained he wasn't sure how to get it to work and Jandy wasn't answering their phones, they are closed! He then tells me that his guy at Jandy will call me in the morning around 8:00am to walk me through the install process of this pump, I say ok that's not a problem! He goes back outside to do something, when I go out a few minutes later to tell him we have to leave again, he's driving out the driveway the whole visit about 30 minutes! The next morning, I go out to inspect the installation and he has run a pipe right in front of the control panel so the panel door can only be opened about halfway before hitting a pipe!! I wait till 10:30 for this call to happen before calling Hacienda and asking them when I might receive this "call", they know nothing about it. Shortly after I receive a text from the tech telling me his guy is sick and I'll have to phone Jandy myself, with the number he gave to me, I tell him he didn't give me any number! He texted me the phone number, I call and sit on hold for close to 30 minutes waiting to talk to a tech, who explains to me that they're not supposed to give advice on setting that's a techs job, but would try and help. About a minute into the call, he tells me that the circuit board is outdated and needs to be upgraded and the tech should have a least known this by looking at it!! So I have to order a new control circuit board. while I'm waiting for the new circuit board to arrive, I go out and replumb half the piping he did wrong, that's when I notice he never even bothered to connect the $1800.00 pump motor to the ground cable!! That was the last straw I called Hacienda to complain about such poor workmanship and negligence in not connecting the grounding cable, Duane the manager was very concerned and assured me he would bring it to the owner's attention for a resolution and they would contact me shortly. 2 weeks later I receive a phone call from the owner of Hacienda Pools, I'm thinking wow better late than never I suppose! The owner asks me if I happened to receive the invoice in the mail for the work and did I pay it yet, I told her I had paid by credit card the morning after the work was done, she said sorry for the call and was going to hang up, I said hey, just hold on a minute hasn't you manager told you anything what happened on this particular install, she replied yes, he mentioned something about it! So, I explained to her everything that happened, she couldn't have cared less all she was concerned with was had I paid their bill! I also informed her that I had never received any invoices for their work or the pump, which she assured me she would handle personally like this was to be a major accomplishment in resolving their poor workmanship and negligence. Thus I will no longer deal with Hacienda Pools of Weatherford, TX and would recommend them to others. read more

Would not recommend. Complete and total lack of communication, never accepting of any responsibility for numerous mistakes- always blaming someone else. Also, they tried to blackmail us to not leave a bad review. Overall a horrible experience building our pool. read more
