My fiancé and I have been heavily relying on Haddon Culinary for delicious food throughout the pandemic. It's been really exciting seeing some of my favorite Philadelphia foods, like Fishtown Pickles and Weckerlys, available for purchase. The prepared meals section is always stocked with incredible food. We've loved the Chicken Pot Pies. Recently for the Super Bowl, we picked up the the Cauliflower Tacos, Black Bean Dip and some other goodies like shrimp cocktail. Everything was perfect. We love to go in for lunch, soups, some yummy desserts. We've been very well fed and super thankful to have Haddon Culinary nearby. read more

I had the mushroom bahn mi and it definitely had flavor however it would been much better on a bahn mi roll. This bread was to dense and sandwich comes apart w each bite. Also they ask for tip at checkout when it's a grab and go. Not crazy about that. Overall way to pricey!! $18 with a drink not including tip that was charged! read more

We first tried Haddon Culinary in the middle of our COVID lockdown & OH MY LAWD they did not disappoint. Everything was perfect: curbside pick-up, easy prep instructions, minimal packaging. In a time when we couldn't go out to dinner, this was a pleasant treat. Dinner included: broccoli cheddar soup, caesar salad, prime rib with au jus & horseradish creme, roasted asparagus, loaded baked potatoes, & flourless chocolate cake for dessert. We couldn't even finish all of it! We have since been back several times to sample their other wares. They source many ingredients locally, which I really appreciate as they are a small town business in a state with glorious summer produce (hey ohhhhh tomatoes!). The offerings vary in geographic flavor palates, but even those with restricted diets can find something to enjoy! I will say that I am a huge Italian brat and rarely sample Italian offerings, but in a pinch I recently tried their meatballs: SIMPLY PERFECT. I have NEVER said that about any meatballs not prepared by family. We're happy & lucky to have them in our neighborhood. read more

I recently stopped in to buy some prepared food for a weeknight takeout dinner, and wow is this place amazing. I picked up some harissa lamb meatballs, coffee-glazed salmon, mashed sweet potatoes with honey, and squash risotto with kale, and all of it tasted like real, honest, homemade food. Like seriously, this isn't mass-produced, pre-made food from the supermarket. It looked exactly like something we'd make at home, except it was made by them. The flavors and quality were absolutely wonderful. I saw that they also had a fish and meat counter with things like Atlantic salmon for not much more money than you'd pay at Whole Foods, and an extremely wide range of sausages. The breadth of food was just astounding. For after the meal, I picked up two small cakes from their dessert section, which were tasty and impressive, but less pretentious and fancy than, say, something from Dulce across the street (not that you don't want a pretentious and fancy but still delicious thing from Dulce every once in a while). I also grabbed two croissants, one chocolate and one cheese, for the next morning, because in addition to dinnertime food, they have a great selection of pastries. This is all to say that Haddon Culinary will most likely by firmly in our rotation of places to pick up food on takeout nights. We're so lucky that the founders of Haddon Culinary took a chance to open up along the avenue, and I can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious food. read more

We are so damn sad we don't live closer to Collingswood but I guess also glad since we would be here constantly. We live about 8 miles away so have not had the chance to try any of their premade meals but are so addicted to their house made sausages. So far we have had their poblano and chorizo flavors which are perfect. Before Haddon Culinary we would drive 30 minutes to Hammonton and load up on sausage from Bagliani's but no more! We are so excited to try their premade meals that we have vowed to not go without the other since we want to experience something new here. Hey, I tried this place a few days ago. Unfortunately, they didn't have the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich. It was sold out. My other choice was a soup which was also sold out. They had a steady stream of customers coming in which was a good sign, though. I looked around a little to get the lay of the land and managed to overcome my disappointment at the sold out items. I finally settled on some pumpkin bread. I didn't open the bread until two days later. It was really good. It's also all gone now. So, good stuff. The place was clean. The people seemed friendly. Also, there was a "no pets allowed" sign on the entrance to the place. That was a plus for me. I'm really not with animals in food areas. But for those of you who love their pets, there is outdoor seating. Anyway, I will try the place again to see if I can't that sandwich. read more

The signature sandwiches($7.99) we have tried so far have all been delicious and filling. Bought a couple RibEye steaks to try their brand. Advertised as Prime. I usually get my steaks at a Delaware store that also sells Prime Rib-eyes. I cooked them together on some grill same time to medium rare. Haddon culinary steaks were more tasty and melted in your mouth. Worth the drive to buy them because I LOVE A GOOD STEAK. My wife wanted the glazed Salmon which she loved. Don't take my word just try for yourself. read more

This place is easily one of my favorite local places and I am SO happy to have found it. It's a cute little speciality store located on haddon Ave. they have a butcher with fresh cut meats and prepared foods available along with various grocery items. Since I've found them, I've been back weekly for their sausages. The chicken and sun dried tomato sausage is literally to die for. Today I got the crab cake, which was my first time trying their prepared food. The crab cake had the perfect amount of crab and wasn't too "cakey". I've had many coworkers and friends try this place out since I have found them as well and everyone has fallen in love. Really nice local market with fresh food and pre-made food. Friendly service, and they were open and available to customers when things shut down due to Covid-19. Their haddon sunrise breakfast sandwich is really good; also croque madame ( I really liked it the first time I had it, second time around tasted a bit different, depends on who is making it I guess). Coffee glazed salmon is really good. They have wine from a local winery. They're getting more items now as I even spotted kim chi. There is a selection of bakery, fresh meats and seafood, fruits and veggies, anything gourmet that you're craving--you can find it here. First time ordering take out and it was delicious! Ordered 2 bistro meals (1 entree and 2 sides) the glazed salmon and bacon cheddar meatloaf were awesome. Sides were good too. I'm really picky about fish and this was fresh and well cooked. The glaze on the salmon was delicious as well- a bit of a twist on how salmon is usually prepared. The portions looked smaller than we expected but were actually perfect for two (it was deceiving). Great customer service and awesome pick up experience. The place is clean and everyone had masks on. My boyfriend knows chef Joe and has always said nothing but great things about him. So I was so excited to see that he was involved in the something new coming to the old Mcfarlans. The place is beautiful and well stocked but not to overwhelming, just enough. I love the option to sit down and enjoy a lunch in the side room or take it home to eat. The fresh made dog food options were a big draw for me as well. So far we have only bought a couple pounds of sausage and some finishing butters. The sausage is amazing and I believe they have a few that are house made. Prices are right and the quality is superb. Neighborhood gourmet market offering to go prepared meals (looked amazing), fresh seafood and meats, unique pasta offerings, freshly made soups, and a counter which had pre-made pizza as well as pre-made and made to order sandwiches. We opted for the "French connection" and the "French sirloin". Both were packed with thinly sliced meats cheese fresh lettuces and a condiment. And both were outstanding! It's part old fashioned market, part gourmet deli (I mean, who has a house made porchetta in the deli case), part pastry shop. It's open and airy with lots of seating for on premise casual dining. My friend and I had the hydrangea cake and the caramel drizzle cake - both were beautifully presented and delicious! This is the place that replaced my beloved McFarlan's Market. When they first opened over two and a half years ago, I wanted to hate them and their whole upscale vibe. But then just after opening the pandemic lockdown happened, and I was impressed by how they committed themselves to meeting the needs of the community in ways they hadn't originally envisioned. They became one of our go-to places for curbside groceries during that trying time. They've continued to adapt and fine-tune their niche as the go-to spot for gourmet foods and snacks and partner with the best of the best local food businesses (Philly-based Weckerly's and Milk Jawn ice cream are my jawns). Their made to order breakfast and lunch sandwiches are amazing. And their ready-made meals taste homemade. I was a bit worried when they opened up a sister location in Haddonfield as sometimes when businesses expand like this the quality starts to decline, but if anything they just keep getting better. For my lunch I the had a Crab cake with roasted beets, carrots, olives, and onions and a pasta salad with toasted almonds and dried apricots.
