Hadramout Restaurant is a unique gem for Yemeni cuisine, tucked away in the corner of a shopping plaza. The interior may be simple, but the authentic flavors and warm atmosphere make it stand out. For a more traditional experience, you can even enjoy cushioned floor seating. The lamb dishes were amazing. Tender, fragrant, and perfectly spiced with generous portions that are great for sharing. The prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly, making it feel like a cozy, home-cooked meal. Lots of parking and friendly staff!

My first time having Yemeni style food, I really like it a lot. The service was really good. Since it's our first time here, the waiter staff explained the menu to us and make recommendations on what the try. They don't have tap water only bottle water if you want water. If you really like lamb, I recommend getting Fahesa, the fish was good too and Hanith Lamb! The service is outstanding as they explained the menu to us and the food came out very fast. Fahesa is a must try dish at the restaurant. You can also sit on the ground, the traditional way of people at Yemen eat food there.

The food was delicious and flavorful. The service was really nice, it took time for the food to come, but it was worth it. The ambiance was very casual and family friendly.

We just found this place a couple of months ago and we absolutely LOVE IT! My favorite is the Hanith Lamb, the other dishes are all amazing, it's hard to chose from, best lamb in town for sure. The service is always great, Naima the waitress who always serves is such a beautiful person, always smiles, very kind to serve us and very professional. The whole team are great and attentive. It's a very cozy casual family atmosphere, we love to see the kids with parents there, it's lovely.

The food is delicious, we ended up having dinner here randomly. But honestly it was too warm in the restaurant, not sure if it was because we chose to sit on the couch area they have to give a more traditional vibe or what was the matter that day . Would def go back for the food, might do take out.

Me being middle eastern I can say I eat a lot of Mediterranean food. I was in Houston and stumbled Across this spot that had Yemen food. Me and my buddy ordered the lamb and chicken with yellow rice. Everything was amazing ! The lamb falls off the bone! The chicken was full of flavor! The rice was also amazing along with the sauces they give us ! The staff was amazing and restaurant was clean! Which is always a plus !

Dine-in: 5 stars Takeout trays: 3.5 stars We dined in 3 months ago at the Arabic seating area and loved it. Food and service were both good. Yesterday we had guests over, so we ordered pickup. They said half a tray feeds 7 people. We were 10, so we ordered 2 mandi half trays: one chicken and one lamb. The lamb mandi had lots of rice and little meat. The chicken mandi had 2 chicken halves. The meats were barely enough for us. Also, the fattoush had no seasoning or dressing at all. Baba ganoush was ok. We'll be back for dine-in only.

10/10 everytime. Hanith lamb. So tender it basically falls of the bone and is seasoned perfectly !! The rice portion is very generous and flavored perfect. Every part of this dish is authentic to the tee. We also ordered tabouleh. It was a perfect side and starter for the lamb. Also, the lamb broth soup!! You cannot go wrong starting with this. It has the perfect spice and flavor you'll be ready for more! Staff is so sweet and helpful! They definitely take this already amazing restaurant OVER THE TOP in goodness. 100% recommend if you're in the area!

All dinners come with a Greek garlic bread starter. I love their iced tea- fresh brewed and always good! The wine is Greek and seems a small bit pricey, but for the extra dollar or two it's worth it- Very delicious. Anything you get at Athena's is amazing so feel free to branch out on your choice. And the desserts are large and homemade! It's hard to save room though. You'll love the fish, steaks, and kebabs. They do a nice lunch sandwich- and still comes with the bread and a Greek salad. If you come on a weekend evening, you may run into the owner having the time of her life! And they take pride in serving the most sweet and ripe slice of melon with every dish. Started to enjoy this first each time I come. It is that delicious, but why can't I find fruit like that anywhere at a grocery store? Give this place a try. Yummy. Officially the authentic Greek restaurant without going overboard. Wait- the homemade 3 layer chocolate cake and the lemon cake! Actually bought a whole one for a large birthday party and everyone wanted to know the bakery name- just Athena's homemade cake! Remember, Greek food is fresh with best ingredients. Service is above that notch and family atmosphere with Greek music- always. But I do find I'm stopping in there solo all the time; others too! Say hello to Maria when you go, she loves to talk to her clients!

Owner and chef, Maria, is very friendly, with high standards, not only for the food, but everything. Restaurant looked very clean and orderly. Enjoyed the big screen TV with authentic Greek singers and dancers. My sister had the trout and my husband had Gyro. We all had salads and enjoyed the made from scratch, delicious salad dressing. Will definitely be back regularly, and will also plan on getting to go order. My husband got a pound of Gyro meat to go, and it came with pita bread and Taziki sauce.

Their Impossible kubideh in particular genuinely surprised me - in the best way. I don't usually gravitate toward meat substitutes at all, and I've tried making kubideh and ghormeh sabzi at home. It just never comes close to this. It's not often I find restaurants where the vegetarian options don't feel like an afterthought, but Kasra absolutely gets it right. My whole family looks forward to it every time we order.

The lentil soup was also delicious. I was with my parents, who really only have a desire to eat East and Southeast Asian food, but they still enjoyed our meal here, which is saying a lot.
