This is as good as it gets. If you don't judge the hole-in-the-wall appearance, it's perfect. Egg foo young, sweet and sour chicken, moo goo gai pan, mei fun, pork fried rice...he does it all! Not only that, but the guy is a savant. He's fluent in four languages, and he needs to be. Every type of ethnicity comes in there (and frequently), so there's obviously something for everyone. Even the local Chinese people file in here come lunch time. Without a doubt, this is the best Chinese I've ever had. He makes everything fresh and even after all these years, he still provides quality ingredients and generous portions at the same prices you'd be paying for fast food elsewhere. Simply the best takeout Chinese food I've found in Florida over the last 6-7 years that I've been here. There's not a bad dish or complaint that I've had. Egg rolls, crab Rangoon, fried rice, general tso's chicken, sesame chicken, Singapore noodles, whatever I've ever ordered out of here has been excellent. This is our new go to place for Chinese take away in the Windermere Ocoee area. Having ordered a few different times, I can assure you that the food is always tasty, hot, fries, and huge portions for the price. Sure, it's not right on McGuire but the extra few minutes in the car are totally worth it. Highlights have been Singapore noodles, steamed dumplings, tofu lol mein and general tso chicken. Tried this for the first time today after some neighbors said it was great NY style Chinese food. Right off the place looked like my go to place where I grew up. I was told that the guy who takes your order is the guy who, basically does everything there. That is very true! He was very friendly and crazy busy!! Solid Chinese, however skip the dumplings. Th3 dough needs to be rolled out more, to thick. But the good news is, they are homemade and not frozen. Chop Suey is great and the chicken wings are the bomb.. I am giving them 4 and not 5 because somebody needs to get with the times and simply post the menu on their Facebook page or something. Our usual place now closes tuesdays and we had a real hankering for Chinese food. We ordered here based on the reviews. No clue as to why everyone loves it, absolutely no flavor in anything we ordered. Mongolian beef is fool proof but this was the worst one we ever tried. The Szechuan chicken looked and tasted just like the Mongolian. No distinction in either entree. My children love sweet and sour chicken because it is fried, their first bite and they ask 'why is this so hard'. Nothing about our dinner was good. The food is very good- excellent flavor and always served hot. Your food is ready relatively quickly and the staff is pleasant. My only complaint is the few times I've gone my egg rolls were overcooked. I'm not sure if the fryer is too hot or maybe it was just a fluke. When you get a combo and choose Wonton Soup as your side they pack it full of wontons. For the past 15 years I've lived in Orlando, the quality and speed of the food service has set it apart from other Chinese Take-Out spots in this city and others. To be specific, you can expect a 4-course meal to be prepared in 15 minutes or less without the taste and quality taking a dip. The meals quality is reflected in the freshness of their ingredients. A good example of this would be their freshly rolled dough for the dumplings or their addictive hot oil that comes with the meals. The family working behind the stoves are seen constantly prepping and cooking the meals to order, leaving nothing frozen. Closest to New England Chinese I've had since moving to Florida. I really was starting to believe that I would never find Chinese food here with any flavor. Will absolutely go back. Only 4 stars because there were a couple things we didn't like - but - we are happy to finally have a place we like. Looking forward to trying some of the other menu items. I raved about this place. After last night I will not support them. The owner/workers had a couple of kids sitting at the tables out front. A women escorted them to seats and told them to sit. They we two boys around 8-12 years old. Guessing brothers. I watched as the 12 year old abused the 8 year old. He grabbed him - he hit a stool off his shin - and then grabbed his neck. No one ever said a word. I finally told a women at the counter that I can not watch this "the older child is beating the crap out of him (I was pointing)" nothing was said. We arrived 20 minutes before their closing, the owner greet us in Spanish like it was 4pm, food was delicious and hot. The egg rolls are great, are homemade even the crust has flavor. We ordered Boneless Spare Ribs. The portion feed 4 people. Is really what you expect from a Chinese restaurant and they also have tostones with garlic! This will be our go to place from now on. Nice little hole in the wall place. Ordered chicken chop suey, chicken egg foo young and egg rolls. Had the fried rice instead of the white rice. Chicken chop suey was pretty good with plenty of chicken, taste was great without too much salt (which I find to be a common issue with Chinese restaurants). Pork egg roll was good, packed evenly and crispy. Chicken egg foo young was good as well though the brown gravy wasn't as thick as is prefer. Took about 7-8 minutes for them to get my food ready. And stupid me forgot to ask for forks and plates. Lol. read more

Being a transplant from the north, finding Chinese food in Central Florida that compares to the food from the NE metroplex has been an impossible task...until today. We found it!! In a little shopping center on Highway 50 (W Colonial) where the Old Time Pottery store is located is the most delicious Chinese food in Western Orange County. Looking at it from the outside, it is nothing special but don't let that deter you. The line of people at 8P at night ordering their dinner on a Wednesday night tells you what others already know...the food is great!! General's chicken, Sesame chicken, teriyaki beef, pork fried rice, pork egg rolls and egg drop soup - all taste just like what I have eaten up north. I've been going to a nearby favorite for many years and wanted to try something else. Definitely was worth trying. I think I have a new favorite in here. The customer service was great, and the man behind the counter said he speaks at least four languages, He didn't say which ones but I know he speaks Chinese and Spanish. The food wasn't bad, however it was very bland. When I order something that's spicy it needs to have some heat to it. Everything overall lacked any flavor and was very mediocre.
