I was supposed to have one in Jan 26th, however I was called and told that I would not be able to get one until March so they gave me a refill till then. April comes and no appointments. I called twice to let them know I hadn't been seen, and my medications were nearly depleted. I was told that they best they could do was give me an appointment July 15th. I explained that one of my medications side effects was a mood booster, and that I have been warned multiple times, by multiple doctors not to stop it suddenly. Well that didn't matter to the scheduling department. July 15th was the best she would do for me. This staff happily let and my family suffer though the misery of the withdrawal symptoms that led to 2 urgent care and an emergency visit. Again Dr. Chen is amazing. I was charged twice for what appeared to be the same procedure under two different business names: Evergreen Spine and Pain Center and White Pine Surgery Center. When I reported this to my attorney, the clinic claimed one charge was a facility fee--even though it was equal to the cost of the surgical procedure. Be very careful. These excessive charges can significantly reduce your final settlement and net recovery. Based on my experience, this clinic's billing practices felt unprofessional and unethical.

Don't be surprised if you get an unexpected bill many months after the appointment indicating you owe more money. That invoice will NOT include what it is for. There is NO way to sort out the problems respectfully because they refuse to provide a detailed invoice at the time of payment before or after the appointment. And then the bill you get in the mail will not include any information either. NO ONE would ever accept paying a bill at a store or restaurant without the total being itemized. Yet this office does this. All you get is the print out of a credit card total. Nothing else. If you insist on getting something in writing the administrative staff shrug and say "that is how it is". Billing is hiding in some remote location. I left the practice years ago for this problem and because when I changed insurance the cash price for the same exact service was way more money than what they were collecting from Insurance. Cash price should be the same or lower than what insurance is paying for because it is easy money in the sense that it does NOT require staffing to deal with insurance billing, coding, follow up and interacting with medical insurance companies. I am about ready to leave again because of the staffing and billing incompetence. patients have the right to trust doctors both with their body AND their wallet.

To expand on this, give you a little more on the situation, and I do mean moron, here is a brief timeline of my dissatisfaction: 2/23/26: I call for initial visit. I am informed I need to have notes and reports faxed from my referring MD so I make the arrangements and the information is faxed 2/25/26. 2/26/26: I call to confirm they have received the necessary info and attempt to schedule an appointment. To my surprise, I was told that the ONLY person that knows how to check the fax was out of the office till the next week. I was as surprised as you are to hear that there was only one person in a professional office, in 2026, that knows how to check the fax so I asked the receptionist to clarify. It was true, I had to wait till the following week for the fax specialist to return so I could schedule. 3/3/26: After much ado and having my MD re-fax all necessary information I called in attempt to schedule. After it was confirmed that they had received the original fax of 2/25 I was connected with Debra. Debra confirmed that she was Dr. Rho's administrator and, in fact, the only person in the office that knew how to receive faxes. Again, I was as surprised as you are, but I felt confident I was dealing with someone of authority now. After dismissing my concerns with the receptionist's lack of professionalism and continually speaking over me she let me know they have 7-10 days from today, not the day that they received the information, to review it before they will schedule me. She confirmed they would call me. 3/20/26: I had waited 17 days, 13 business days, but had yet to hear back so I called again. Kathy dismissed my disappointment with the reoccurring lack of professionalism and became a bit contentious defending themselves. She was able to schedule me for the end of May. 3/23/26: Inland Interventional sends a fax to my MD stating they are unable to help me. When I talked to Debra she said that the MD had to review the notes before I could be scheduled. I gave them more than the 7-10 days that was necessary for said evaluation. on 3/20 Kathy had confirmed that I was ready to be scheduled and scheduled an appointment. What gives??? Not even the professional dignity to call to let me know. The brass tacks are this, I was dismissed and disregarded for a month while waiting for treatment for severe pain while I could have been waiting for a professional pain management clinic.
