Well hello, Haidilao! I hadn't explored this side of Southcenter in many years and was curious when I saw the hot pot sign when I was looking for parking for 85 degrees (my mom's favorite bakery). My folks were visiting and traffic was terrible coming from the airport so this was a natural winner for all of us once we spotted it. It was a weekday so thankfully it wasn't busy - we were seated right away and once we placed our order, things began arriving almost immediately! I loved how fast the service was and how clean the space was. The robot carts were efficient and cute to watch, as was the pulled noodle dance! We ordered the 4 soup option and ordered up a storm. Because you pay for everything at your table you can bring home leftovers - good idea!! The egg/fish soup was still delicious upon reheating days later - that is incredible! I also enjoyed the small things that made this restaurant unique -- high quality oil/reed diffusers in the powder room, along with a mouthwash station, combs, and just a organized/clean space. The sauce/soup/fruit/dessert station had a nice array of options, and the soft-serve was a nice little treat on the way out. All things considered, this restaurant is expensive -- worth every penny in my opinion, but our meal for 3 was eek! Like going to a steakhouse! Since I don't partake in steak, this is my jam --- and I look forward to many returns!
Great sauce bar, service, table setup, tablet ordering, etc. And of course I love the service robot. Ingredients and broths are immaculate. I can't think of anything to complain about. Wait, the miso soup is not the best I've had. Lol. The taro is really good. And lamb is delicious as always.
HaiDiLao is definitely an interesting and different hot pot experience compared to other hot pot restaurants. We got to see a dance performance, received freebies like personal apron and hairties, AYCE sauce bar, etc. I went during opening week and it was really busy so customer service was kind of slow. Everyone was friendly and accommodating though, especially our waitress Maggie. I think food was just ok but expensive. My Dad got food poisoning within an hour eating there. During grand opening week, they promoted a deal for 20% off. It turned out to be quite misleading because we later found out it's just for certain food items. They also had promotions like BOGO milk tea and free deep fried pork if you ordered the dancing noodle and write a review for them. In the end, the total was still expensive and didn't seem like the 20% off deal took much off... :/ You can select 2 or 4 soup base. We ordered the spicy beef tallow and pork bone soup. Both soup base lacked flavor so we had to add extra ingredients from sauce bar to fit our liking. Food items are à la carte. The Kobe beef belly tasted like the regular beef quality so I didn't think it was worth it. We also ordered fish balls, fried bean curd rolls, tong ho, etc. Highly recommend ordering the dancing noodles for the experience lol. The milk tea was delicious. We also ordered Chinese fried dough roll dish but never got it. We reminded our waitress multiple times but she kept saying due to how busy it is, it'll take longer. Ended up just cancelling it because we never received it in the end. They had a free vanilla soft serve machine for dessert. I would recommend booking a reservation prior to coming because the wait can be long.
We eagerly awaited the opening of this restaurant ever since we saw the announcement at the mall. We went on a weekday, right around noon. It wasn't crowded; we were quickly seated. The dining area is spacious, clean, and attractive. Each table has a dedicated hot pot burner. There is also an ice cream station and a sauce station. Free individually packaged snacks were provided upon seating. We had fun here and the food was good. We got a mix of meat and veggies and two soup bases -- mushroom and pork. You can take your time and the friendly, professional staff is always on hand to assist. We also got the "dancing noodles" and were very entertained by the staff who came out and performed for us to the tune of "Staying Alive."
We came here for the opening weekend, and had a great experience. The restaurant was super busy during the grand opening but the staff did a stellar job. The food was delicious as always! They're currently running a promo where you get a free plate of deep-fried pork when you order the dancing noodles! And the dancing noodles performance was so fun to watch. Amongst the meat that we ordered, we love the shrimp balls with salted egg yolks inside, and the marinated beef tenderloin. They also had a lively performance around 7pm, we really enjoyed watching this during our meal. Don't forget to save room for yummy desserts and vanilla soft serve. The sauce bar was well stocked. Our server Dana along with other servers were available throughout the meal, checked on us periodically and ensured we got everything we needed.
We love the Bellevue location and have been to the downtown Seattle one as well. It's grand opening weekend so we expected some kinks. We waited in a line with a lot of other families inside the mall entrance only to be ushered to the "front entrance" 15 mins later because the waitlist QR code was only available there. Inconsistent distribution of the welcome gift bags from the front entrance - we got nothing which is fine just harder to explain to kids why others had it. Interior decor has same vibes as the other locations but the actual table slides around - not locked down - oof! Tablet ordering was easy but no kids meals (ask for it) and currently no beer but there are bogo offers for milk teas and such. There are some food options that seem new/different from other locations. The special grand opening is 20% off until Aug 14 but its not actually 20% off if you look at the bill. Also, not sure if its just this location but the others didnt charge us all for sauce bar esp 2 small children. The server told us if 1 person goes we are all charged so $16, oof. The other locations also give the kids a small toy which other tables got but we didnt. My daughter asked and the server said "go get some ice cream". The froyo wasnt mixed well so it was kind of soupy. All in all, love the chain but hope this place changes as they grow into the space and train staff.
Service was superb! Staffs were very attentive. First time coming here and was blown away by all the amenities. My friends and I came here around lunch time and were seated immediately. We ordered on the ipad for the hotpot items. There's a sauce bar for additional cost which we didn't mind paying. The sauce bar is very clean and is refreshed often when some of the condiments are low. I also noticed you get unlimited snacks to take with you to the table. One of the highlights for us was the dancing noodles. It was very entertaining and made the experience worthwhile. To end our meal, you get free self service ice cream which was a nice treat. I will for sure come back again for an authentic hotpot experience. So nice there's plenty of parking and it's conveniently located inside southcenter mall. Tip: make a reservation online to avoid waiting.

So much for the legendary hospitality and service at this chain. A few weeks after they first opened, I was told by person greeting people outside, they can do half orders "no problem!" if I'm a solo diner. I just had an over10-hr work day (not by choice) and I thought I would treat myself. No people ahead of me in line. But I still had to wait. Once I was seated, just as I started to figure out the tablet menu, I asked about how to order half portions...they were completely stumped. A manager came over and pointed out the 3 meager items you can order in half portions. thanks for nothing. I left. Good thing Jollibee is down the hall. Or else this day would suck even more. I'll be going to Happy Lamb for hotpot, whether they have half orders or not. I don't like being misled or having my time wasted. As the saying goes, you only have one chance to make a first impression.
One of my favorite places to get hot pot is finally at South Center! The food here is amazing, services spectacular as always, quality of the food is spot on! Overall, I highly recommend their meat as well as their tomato broth! I will definitely come back.
Haidilao is always consistent with their quality. I love their tom yum broth. The meats are a little pricey but worth the quality in my opinion. They are long pieces of meat rather than the short ones you see at other hotpot places. This location is very long, spacious and big. Service was great as well, they were constantly checking in on us.
Came at a good time before the dinner rush. Food came out pretty quick. Everything was tasty and we had a good time. Our server Hua was absolutely phenomenal!
Love love love haidilao! Our waitress was Nutty and she was so attentive and wonderful! The customer service here is amazing and I felt so welcomed! Come to Haidilao if you haven't!

Came during opening weekend, it was packed but we got seated immediately and the staff are very attentive. Food and atmosphere was amazing, it feels very comfortable and homey as it's not overly fancy. The quality of the meat is good and fresh and so were the seafood and veggies. This place was fantastic! It was my first time trying Haidilao Hot Pot, and while I've been to other hot pot restaurants before, this experience was on another level. From the moment we walked in, I was impressed by how spacious the restaurant was. The layout is thoughtfully designed, with plenty of space between tables, giving our group of five lots of room to enjoy our meal and conversation without feeling cramped. We ordered the quad soup base, which gave us a great variety of flavors to try. There were plenty of soup options to choose from, although I did notice they didn't have a non-spicy beef broth. That said, it wasn't a big deal considering the excellent selection of meats. The standout soups for me were the tomato and tom yum broths--both were incredibly flavorful and easily the highlights of the meal. For our ingredients, we ordered beef, pork, lamb, udon noodles, curd noodles, quail eggs, and several other sides. The portions were generous and more than enough for everyone at the table. Another must-order is the chicken karaage--it was perfectly crispy, juicy, and even better dipped in the spicy aioli. The service was just as impressive as the food. Our server, May, was wonderful. She walked us through the menu, explained how to order using the iPad, and frequently checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. I also appreciated the small cart next to our table for dirty plates, which made it easy to keep the table organized without constantly needing to flag down our server--especially helpful since we ordered quite a bit. Overall, this was one of the best first-time hot pot experiences I've had. With their soft opening tomorrow, I'm excited to see them succeed. I'll definitely be back! read more

It's so cute in here! The service was amazing and Zach was so sweet. It's a lil pricey but the quality and service is so worth the experience and expense. I love coming to Haidilao on special occasions because they really do celebrate you and make it personal :). I'm so happy they're finally in Tukwila! read more

Even though they just opened, the staff was super attentive and everything came out fast. This is officially my new go-to hot pot spot!" The food was fresh and delicious--the hot pot broth and sauce bar hit the spot. Service was top-notch. The staff were super sweet and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. The only downside was that the food took pretty long to come out after ordering. Definitely try to come when you're not starving or give yourself extra time, but otherwise, great spot and I'll definitely be back! read more

Extensive choices. That was the hardest part of the experience. Once we figured out what to order it was all good from there. The soup bases were flavorful and we were pleasantly full at the end. I celebrated my birthday at lunch and the team pulled out all the stops with singing, tambourine, and a little panda cheesecake dessert. It made my day. read more

Is this actually in the mall or on the outside? Where is it actually located. I have a disabled husband who can't walk far?
You can google 85 bakery degree in Southcenter mall. Haidilao located in the same parking lot. The entrance is outside so you don't have to walk around the mall. It's better to make reservations in advance so you don't have to wait for a long time
