Edith saved my hair. I went to a pretty popular salon in downtown and they gave me skunk lines in my hair when I asked for a balayage. I had a wedding coming up so I needed to get it fixed ASAP. I recently bleached my hair at another salon and it damaged my hair badly to the point where hair was coming out. All my hair was uneven. My appt was scheduled out about a month because her Sat were booked and I wanted a weekend. She is super popular and busy so plan ahead ladies. I showed her a pic of what I wanted but I feel my hair came out way better than the pic. She is very friendly, offers you something to drink, talks to you throughout the process etc. My 7 yr old came with me and she was ok with it and made me feel very welcomed. So I've been trying to find someone to cut and color my hair for a few months and thought I would be writing a great review on here just like everyone else. I wanted to think oh wow I found a great deal and the stylist sounds great. Well went to my appointment was a couple mins late, and I wasn't even sure I was at the right place. I say I have an appointment with Edith and the two Asian ladies just look at me, who hardly greeted me when I came in and they said oh she'll be right with you. Even Edith I'm assuming said yeah I'll be right with you. I take a seat, and there's someone ahead me and I thought ok maybe she's just finishing up. Well I wait 10 mins, 15 mins, 30 mins, then it's fucking 45 mins later and still no sign or anyone saying hey I'm running late wanna run an errand and I'll be right with you? No, no expectation was set when I got there and I was left hanging. She had my number she could've given me a heads up and say hey I'm running late! No nothing. I booked this appointment about 3-4 weeks out, for what? So I walk out and get a text saying sorry for running late let me give you a free haircut. Yes let me drive 20 mins out and back again for an appointment I might not even get. read more

I saw all the wonderful reviews about Edith so I contacted her through Yelp messaging last minute. I requested for an appointment the next day. She happen to have an available slot at 2 p.m. She pleasantly greeted me and welcomed me and asked what I was looking to do with my hair. I was so general in my description ... Long layers trim. She asked follow-up questions to get a little bit more detail and clarification of the look I wanted which I appreciated. She washed my hair, cut it, blow dried and cut some more to get the style I wanted, then lastly styled it. She was very fast and efficient, not that she was rushing but obviously was good at her trade. I am very happy and pleased with my haircut and style.
