Situation: Color Correction *see photos*…read more Background: Bad balayage at another at Stilo Salon, by the owner no less, and turned out nowhere near the inspiration photos I brought in. I was hoping for beige highlights and got bright blonde. I asked for a refund and was only offered a "fix it at no cost". I declined. Intervention: Reached out to Vance who did my hair in the past. Don't ask me why I just didn't come back. Vance was able to see me pretty quick and did an AMAZING job!! He gave me beige highlights and darkened the base which I just love. I'm tanned skin so the blonde highlights was not flattering. Evaluation: I am forever grateful for Vance. He is very skilled at his craft. The result was exactly what I was hoping for from the very beginning when I stepped into the other salon. Note to self....i will never see any other stylist. Overdue review.. since I've been coming to Pang for quite a few years for hair cuts. I always come…read morewith inspo pics and tell him what I want and Pang always delivers. At one point my hair was overly damaged from another salon (think bleach, damaged hair and lots of broken strands) and he was honest about how long it would take to trim and grow it back to my waist again. It took several years, but it's back to where it was. All thanks to patience and Pang listening to what I wanted in the end. He's always on-time. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes if he's wrapping up another client, etc. First part of the appt is going over what I want to achieve. Then hair wash. Cut. Blow dry and style. He's straight to the point and there's no chit chatting. I'm usually out of there within an hour or so. There's no bathroom available, so make sure you get your business done before your appt. If you need to go, there's Starbucks across the street. As for parking, there's plenty of metered parking. But if you're not sure how long you'll be there, there's 2 hour free parking across the street from El Camino. The salon itself is hidden and on the 2nd floor. I believe the stairs was next to Taishoken. If you see Suruki Market, you went to far. He also only takes cash or venmo.
