I have been getting my hair done with Shahin since she worked at the now-closed Regis Salon at Del Monte Center in Monterey. She is excellent. Whatever I want to do with my hair, she counsels me on ways to achieve that look while preserving the health and natural characteristics of my hair. I've never had a better hair cut in my life than hers and she diligently customizes my color treatment every single time, without skimping on materials. (She always uses high quality dyes and hair products.) Her prices are very reasonable, considering her talent and wide range of skills. She never rushes me and will work as long as it takes to get the job done right. I trust her implicitly with my hair and never have to worry that I'm going to be disappointed with the outcome. One of the things I appreciate most about Shahin is that she is always advancing her knowledge and skill set with professional workshops on new styles and techniques. Shahin is truly an expert in her field. I've gone through many hair changes this year for various reasons (sometimes just for fun, others for large family events and such) I'm a college student, and that has led to a lot of my own very sloppy, colorful dye jobs. Most would assume that the damaged I caused was irreparable, but Shahin evenly covered it and helped me get on track with taking care of my hair (blue green to brunette) Next, for a family event, I had to go back to my natural blonde. She lightened my hair quite a bit without leaving it dry, and cut off dead ends. She did a beautiful job, and i really liked the color. Of course, my goal was to go platinum. One week later I returned, having taken care of my hair how she had asked, and she got it almost completely platinum. I had to go in one last time for a final toner, and I am in love with my hair!! I came in pretty desperate one day for a bridal shower (my bridal shower that I was uninformed of until 2 days before). My hair is thick and pretty impossible for me to do fancy on my own unless I have 4 hours to do it in. Shahin took me in on a last minute call and fit me in to her extremely busy schedule.
