She was extremely unprofessional in the way she booked and was doing my hair with overbooking so many clients at the same time. The client that came in after me was finished before me. After, I looked in the mirror it was nothing like the pictures. I explained it to her that it was not what I had asked for and she said to give it time and if I was not happy then to call in 2 weeks. I followed up on text and received no help whatsoever instead a really unprofessional response and no solution. I provided the screenshots. She basically made it seem like it was my fault and that I was being difficult when I was not. The bare minimum should be taking accountability for the actions done and trying to help an 18 year old. I had made an appointment because I was used to making appointments months in advance at my last salon (I moved recently). It does not seem like appointments are necessary. The experience itself was lack luster - I got a wash, cut, and blow dry - which I find pretty standard. I found it odd that she didn't sit me down and take a look at my hair dry or ask me what I really wanted before taking me back, but every stylist is different. The wash was kind of rough, definitely not what I'm used to - which again, may just be a personal preference. The cut was simple - long layers. I told her where I parted my hair because she didn't ask but she told me she'd cut it center because it would look better that way and the part wouldn't matter (gentle foreshadowing - that made the cut look worse). When all was said and done I asked her to blend and soften the layers a little and she did, which I appreciated, but there just wasn't any saving the front - which is what I have to see every time I look in the mirror. The layers in the front on the side I part my hair to are short and harsh and just do not fall nicely. When it came to pay - cash only. Which, thank god I brought cash (maybe I missed something). The cut was $45 but the wash and blow dry was another 30. at that price point I would have been better off going to a Boujie salon for a much better experience and a little more money. Unfortunately I just don't think this is the salon for me. I'm so glad other people have such a great experience, but If you're looking for more relaxing salon vibes with the type of stylist to take the time to talk about what you like, I would not recommend coming here. In short id say this is Super Cut Quality with Fancy Salon Prices - just not worth it unfortunately.

This was my first visit and it will definitely not be my last. Ashley's years of color expertise and careful listening skills left me with the most gorgeous hair I have had in years. The salon is small and private and looks out upon a beautiful courtyard with orchids and other lovely plants. Because it is a small salon there is no noise or chitter chatter going on in the background from other stylists or customers which led to a very calm and relaxing experience. I like the way she takes her time and makes sure to catch every hair that sticks out to give you a precise and perfect cut. The salon itself was wide, spacious and very clean. It was beautifully decorated with what she explained were her husbands paintings. (the salon doubles as a workshop but a really tidy one!) The restroom also clean with a few cleaning supplies and what I thought were probably storage items. The handsoap smells really nice. Overall very pleasant salon visit and will be coming back for when I need a trim. My haircut cost $25 + the tip I left for Kim, who did a wonderful job.

Krystha, I think I'm spelling that right, did an amazing job and my hair once again is in great shape.
