Came here after Pokémon hunting at csun. Decided to give it a go since Yelp showed great reviews. I got the chicken pita and my husband got the house burger. The chicken pita was delicious! Almost reminds me of Al pastor or adobo chicken. The sauce on it is delicious. The portion size is great for the price. My husbands burger was also yummy. And the curly fries were the perfect amount of crispy . The only downside to this place is that it's fairly small so there was literally no where to sit when we got our food until others left. Ordered for delivery at night wanting something to eat. This place is open late so I wanted to give it a try. Probably going in my top five for food! I ordered the medium, half rice, half salad, gyro, chicken, added hummus, pico de gallo, and white sauce. Flavor and portions were perfect. Falafel was the best I have had West Valley. It was moist and was freshly cooked. (Seems other places might be reheating as competition is drier and greasy. ) This falafel is memorable and three pieces with gyro on plate - the falafel alone was a meal! Gyro was excellent. I'm always a bit nervous ordering falafel from new places because it's always a hit and miss for me; the miss being when it's too dry. I was really pleased with the texture of the falafel here, perfectly moist and flavorful. I got the medium build your own bowl with falafel and gyro, half rice, half salad ( gyro was also cooked perfectly) topped with white and red (spicy) sauce. Today I ordered something online and went to the store for pickup. the lady was working there she was talking about my order than I said something about one of my previous order that food was not good. honestly I found some feather or filament on Chicken wings skin. but that lady was so rude and start yelling at me. I said I am just telling you what happened to my order, I am not complaining coz that day I had some other priorities so I just threw it. but She insulted me and canceled my todays order after my payment. after few minutes someone called me from that store and he was accusing me that I should not have talk about the previous order. The owner was horrible. I already complained to food department. We were in the area so I decided to pick up food here for dinner. I was greeted upon arrival and was told he would be right with me as he was also the only one taking orders and making the food. When he was ready, I told him I'd like to try their falafel plate with salad and asked for recommendations on toppings and sauces to go along with it. His response was "what do "I" recommend?" I told him it was my first time there. So he recommended peppers, hummus, and tahini sauce. I proceeded with those and picked up a house burger and curly fries. I did not get the chance to try the burger but the hubby said it was ok. The falafels were plenty but a bit dry. The salad consisted of chopped iceberge lettuce, tomatoes and onions and there were chopped red cabbage. The lettuce and red cabbage did not taste fresh as expected. I devoured the wonderfully made $5 chicken burger in a matter of minutes. The $3 curly fries were comparable to Jack-in-the-Box curly fries but at a cheaper price for more. Falafels were AMAZING. They were well-seasoned and moist!! Never had anything like it. Chicken nuggets were comparable to McDonald's nuggets. Food was simply phenomenal for the price point and was served swiftly. Plenty of parking available in this plaza. Inside of the store may be relatively small, but there may always be space. I finally got the chance to go to Halal House for dinner. It serves both Mediterranean and American food. The eatery has a limited space to dine in. Two small tables and a bunch of raised chairs by the wall. Having done my homework on this place, I ordered the Gyro Burger. We also tried the Gyro Pita. The gyro burger was succulent and bursting with flavor. The gyro meat itself was in small chunks of bite sized pieces. They were not dry, and each bite was extremely satisfying. And the burger held its structure and did not fall apart. The gyro pita also gets high marks. The steak fries were super and came with Lawrys spice mix. I asked for pepper, to sprinkle over the fries before I dipped them in ketchup. The owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Overall, a fantastic dinner experience. Next time, try a gyro burger instead of a beef patty burger, and tell me what you think. read more

Hello from HALAL. Unfortunately, came on a bad day apparently. I was greeted by a guy in a Red shirt. Assumed owner. Seemed nice. Came in at 9pm FOOD: He directly offered half veggies half rice, And i was shocked because usually that means either the rice of veggies are bad that day. He gave me a small portion of meat too but the shop closes at 10pm????? Also, the rice was HORRIBLE today. I'm talking mushy and rotten tasting. I threw half of it when I got home......I kinda want a refund now PRICE: Standard plate price, $11. I tipped $2. OVERALL: I expect high quality everyday of the week. The food, the service- all of it was awesome! We first ordered the plates and a burger to go ( for 4 people- not eating all of that by myself) then, after looking at the tacodillas decided to add those to the order. The tacodillas were all around the best flavor explosion- delicious!!! They will be at the top of our next order list although everything else was delicious too. The rice is flavored and really yummy. Portion sizes are great. Came here for the chicken sandwich. I called in my order but had to wait a bit long. The owner/worker told me the next time it would be on the house and gave me a free drink while I waited.
