Really fun atmosphere, super friendly waitstaff, and hands down the best food in the village. Not the best bar food. The best *food*. My faves are the burrata, buffalo wings (though do NOT ask for extra hot), Johnny Utah sandwich, and the pretzels. Weekdays are better if you want to have a quieter meal, weekends are pretty lively at the bar. Have also taken my kids during the day and it's good for that too. Best version of the Irish Pub you'll find outside of Ireland. read more

Ate outside. Flatbread , leak soup onion rings. Food was ok would have been fine if not for a hair on the Flatbread which I pointed out to the waitress. Should have comped either the beer or wine that was served in a plastic glass. Irish coffe would have been better without the green goop put on top. A good Irish coffe should have real whipped cream not redi whip. Needs more effort. Service ok read more

We went there on an unbelievably busy night. There was a 45 minute back up in the kitchen from when we sat down. The staff made it all worth it! From the friendly hostess, to our sweet waitress who was so apologetic, to the manager who we watched go from table to table, keeping everyone updated, entertained and happy. This place has it all - great food, delicious drinks and wonderful, friendly service. A definite "go-to" in the heart of the village, it's perfect for burger night (I strongly suggest the basil burger) or for more decadent "grown up" dishes. On the weekends, you can find a deejay (sometimes a live band) - late enough not to infringe on family dining and early enough that you're not sleeping the next day away. And I just can't help but wonder where the person who made the comment about the Jets game was sitting, but there are NINE TVs that allow 4 to 5 games to be broadcast simultaneously. Considering all the Jets fans that frequent the place, I'm sure it was on a TV or 2. I guess you can't please everyone, but Halligans comes damn close every time - and they offer the best wings around. read more

Halligan's recently did a renovation of their seating area and revamped their menu, which I really enjoyed as a long time customer. Their service is always friendly and it's a great place to stop for a quiet lunch during the week, or to have a more rowdy night out on the weekends. Don't expect a huge selection of beer on tap, but they have the basics (Bud, Coors, Yueng, Smithicks, Guiness, ect.) and usually a few seasonals on tap. They usually have Doc's Hard Cider on draft as well. The food is traditional pub fare mixed with newer, fresher options. I always enjoy my meals there. On weekdays you have to either pay for meter parking or go to one of the public lots. There's actually one right down the street that runs behind the restaurant, parallel to the main Warwick street. On weekends the meters don't run in Warwick, but on any other day the meter readers are VERY attentive, so be careful. read more

This place is great although a little pricey for pub fare. I suppose you get what you pay for. The buratta appetizer with pesto toast is ridiculously good. Their steak sandwich is thick slices of high quality steak on a fresh hero roll. Good selection of beer, nice atmospohere with exceptional service. read more

If your looking for a place with really good food and a staff that doesn't let your glass sit empty, this is it. Burger rated a 10 on my scale, the foccacia roll is all that kept it from being the best in NY. The garbanzo fries were something we had not seen before and we just had to try, GREAT appetizer. Our waiter was very good and the rest of the staff and management provide service and turn tables at a level of precision I don't see very often. read more

Came in with a couple friends and had some dinner and drinks at the bar Saturday night. The bartender, Amanda was very helpful and made menu suggestions that were terrific. The burrata is excellent, and the salmon special was one of the best I've had. As the night progressed it was a packed house but the bartenders never left anyone waiting long for a drink. Around 10pm the DJ came on, playing great music and it was a fun vibrant atmosphere. Will be back! read more

Service was nice and cheerful. The food was just okay. I ordered the special a shrimp po boy and was I disappointed. About five fried shrimp on a large roll with two slices of tomatoes and the ridge of lettuce on a big roll. Not what I expected at all. I can not give you a honest review about the food, because my server forgot my meal. I was eating with five adults everyone got their meal I waited for 5 minutes. Nothing. They need to train the servers better. I had some fries they seem to taste pretty good. read more

I came here to grab a few drinks with some friends and had a great time. At night this is a spacious bar. When we went they had a DJ playing top 40 type music. I love the bar. Has a very old school feel to it and the firefighter helmuts and pictures just added more to the enjoyment. Bar staff were very friendly and very busy. I was a little buzzed by the time I got here but if I remember correctly the drinks were strong and the prices were acceptable. Def. will be coming back here. read more

Excellent place. High quality pub food, good service, and a clean atmosphere. Tried the Burgers, Ruben, Beet Salad, & French Onion soup and they were all outstanding. Sangria was homemade and very good. Depending on the time it can be a bit loud and don't sit in the front of the restaurant as people smoke right outside the door. Overall a great place. read more

Yet another place I can not believe I have never reviewed - I have eaten here so many times - I guess I just figured I reviewed it back in the day. This is a great place to come grab a couple of drinks or some good bar food. The staff is always friendly - they make you feel like your family and they always have something interesting going on the weekend. It can be anything from a fundraiser, to a local band playing, to a themed night like 80s night. The prices are reasonable and food is good. Wait didn't I say that already?!?! Well it doesn't matter - it's worth repeating. My favorites are the French Onion Soup and Irish Nacho's. Get either one or both - you won't be disappointed. read more

Stopped for lunch when passing through Warwick. A classic Irish pub. They offer your Irish classics like shepherds pie and fish and chips but I went with a create your own sandwich...who doesn't like to create their own? The wait staff were extremely friendly. Decent selection of beers on tap and specials to go with it. The bloody Mary wasn't a fan favorite at my table despite it looking like it had real potential - premix and not much to it in terms of flavor. Overall it was a good quick lunch spot. If you're into a big bar this place has a decent sized bar and you can tell locals definitely frequent it. It's off the main street a bit so it's one you have to look for. read more

Went here after checking some Yelp reviews and the Yelpers were right on! The decor is standard Irish Bar but the food is awesome and servers were great. We had Basil Burrata, Sauteed Shrimp and Crispy Pork Carnitas-which could have gone so wrong- but everything was SO right! Good place, good food and a DJ later in the night which led to much hilarity for all involved. Give it a try! read more

Bartenders seemed friendly but it wasn't that crowded and we ordered pretty fast. Apps were wings and cheese quesadillas and 'Irish Nacho's'? I think that's what they were called. All were excellent. It's sad that this is the only late night bar in town. The bartenders need to improve on their customer service skills for sure. When you order a drink or try to close your tab they seem to linger, they seem to give a rats ass about your experience. They are cheap on the drinks which was nice. The bathroom on the other hand is something that looked like if I didn't clean my bathroom sink for a month or two there was hair everywhere. read more

The last time I was here (a year or so) the fish 'n chips (which was great the time before) had turned from real fish into compressed fish parts. At least I HOPE it was fish parts. Very disappointing. This time I ordered a portobello sandwich. It was mostly bread and lettuce. So much so that I called over the server who had to admit he didn't see much mushroom in there. (It should have been a mushroom cap like most restaurants serve. This was some slices of mushroom). He asked if I'd like more mushroom, I replied yes, and a few minutes later a small dish with a very few extra slices appeared. Cold. Halligan's used to be much better, but based on my last two visits, the quality has decreased. There are a lot of very good restaurants in this town. I doubt I'll be back unless I just want a beer. read more

It was just ok I would give it a better rating because the fish n chips weren't bad, it's just that there were 3 SMALL half sized pieces of fish... I thought it was from the kids menu!? I don't expect it to be a huge plate of fish but at least lower the cost of it or add 2 decent size pieces of fish instead of 3 tiny square pieces. read more

The waitstaff is amazing and the place looks great. We were looking for parking and everything has a meter. We didn't have change so the bar tender gave us .50 cent to pay the meter. But the food wasn't amazing. I feel the menu was little far fetched. From burgers to Mexican. It was lacking pub food yet it was a pub. Best onion soup ever! read more
