The atmosphere and the service is just ok. The food and drinks, most specifically the food, are awful. I've been here a lot of times and tried a lot of things on the menu. I have a few meetings in the area every month and I stop by on my way home. I really wanted to like something, but nothing is ever good. Seriously, the food is not good. I'm a beer drinker and they only have 2 IPAs, one of which is goose island. You do the math. Overall this is not a bar you would want to patron often. But it's one of the only ones in this area which is why I assume it's frequented. It would be dope if management focused in on improving service and food quality. Some of my colleagues and I made a quick pit stop here at St. Pat's for a drink before heading to an educational dinner. Our choice to patron here was mostly due to its proximity to the restaurant - but it also looked good and had happy hour specials so it seemed to fit. As suggested by the name, St. Pat's has a somewhat Irish theme - the interior is medium-dark wood toned complete with stained glass and cathedral-like windows in the back. The bar itself serves as the main focal point, though they also have tables on the main level, an upstairs area, and some space outdoors. I think I might have been here before - but back in the early 2010s before my Yelp days; something about this place seemed so familiar. The happy hour menu had a few drinks to choose from - they also serve food which was good to know. Since it was fake Spring, I decided to get an Aperol Spritz which was pretty standard. Service was good - I appreciated they had table service and and didn't have to walk up to the bar to order. Overall, a fine experience at St. Pat's. I didn't get a picture of my Shirley temple but I feel like this one had the opposite issue that I have most times I order Shirley temples! It had a lot of grenadine but the soda was either flat or it was not Sprite. There was something lacking... Maybe just not enough for a good ratio? Hard to gauge. But I appreciated the heavy hand of grenadine. I got an appetizer sampler which I was happy to see was huge! I thought it was going to be smaller but it definitely was too much for one person so glad my friends got to enjoy it too. I got the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls, mozzarella sticks and soft pretzel. The egg rolls were alright. I was missing was more cheese in there and there were tough parts of the steak that I had to spit out either from being over cooked or just not trimmed enough. I was dipping them in the pretzel's beer cheese and that was good but I definitely would've needed more cheese if I had eaten the whole soft pretzel. The soft pretzel was really good though. Had a nice flavor and soft but still had some crisp to it on the outside which I liked and it wasn't annoyingly salty on top. Tasted really good with the beer cheese. The mozzarella sticks were good too! Was it the healthiest meal I've ever had? No, but it was decent bar food and fun for watching The Traitors with a bunch of reality TV fans. Loved that the bartenders were watching and enjoying it too along with us! The volume was loud enough and loved that they turned the lights down. Overall even though the 2nd floor that we were watching in was narrow and crowded, it was a beautiful place with charming wooden accents that really made it feel like an Irish pub. read more

I prefer that my sides to be either off to the side or served on a separate plate; the mashed potatoes is now touching the meat compromising the taste. The service here was outstanding. The server and bartender were very attentive; they kept my water glass filled each time I finished my glass. We had a large group, so called to make a reservation. They were not taking them this weekend. Walked in around 2:00 and asked for a table for 9. They looked at me like I was crazy. The hostess walked away for about 5 minutes and came backs I seat us. Not a problem. The restaurant was so hot. The service was great and the only good thing about the restaurant! The food was not good at all. Half of the appetizers we wanted were not available. We all ordered different meals and they were all pretty bad. Will not return. read more

Was staying next door at Hilton and popped in for an easy dinner after a long day. So glad we did!! Food was terrific as were the cocktails! We had quesadilla, Irish curry, and buffalo chicken wrap. All of it was delicious. But most of all, our server Jesse was super friendly and extremely attentive to our food allergies. She made several trips to the kitchen to check and double check with their staff to make sure anything we asked about was safe. So.. my best friends and I are from California and we arrived to NYC this morning. We were super excited about bar hopping, restaurant hopping, and have been having the best time doing so. We found this bar and Google said they were open until 4am so we figured it was perfect since we're staying 8 mins away. Mind you, it was 1:20am Upon arrival, the bartender William was extremely rude. He said they closed at 2:30. My friends and I empathized with him and agreed to one drink and that we'd close out immediately. As more people walked in, he become more attentive towards them. We tried to be super patient w him since we work in the service industry... he literally never checked on us and kind of pretended we weren't there. I'm not sure if it was because we are brown girls?? Or because he didn't like that we walked in before he wanted to close? Even though online it says 4am.. The teriyaki chicken was a little tough and not very good. To top it off they didn't advise no free refills so we paid $20 for two cokes plus 1 refill each. We popped on here during our hustle through NYC just to catch Auburn vs. Georgia. Turns out, this was a dedicated Auburn hub! We had a great time and met great people. The staff were fun too! The service was friendly and attentive. We had the sampler appetizer with chicken tenders, calamari, and Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. The Philly cheesesteak egg rolls stole the show. The tenders were good. The calamari was not what we usually experience. The pieces were very wide and large. They did not have flavor and they were difficut to chew. This is your classic happy hour spot with happy hour prices. We sat on one of the outdoor tables - very busy like all Irish pubs. I got the Paloma cocktail which was fruity and tasty even on an empty stomach. We also ordered the mozzarella sticks which impressively passed the string test and the chicken tender which was saucy on the outside but very dry on the inside to where I had to use a knife to cut the pieces. This three-story bar is such a fun place to eat, drink and watch games. The bar hosts the local Auburn University alumni club (War Eagle!) and it's decorated appropriately. this place is a joke, the blonde waitress made my friends and i feel stupid. my friend ordered a margarita pizza, and she received a cheese pizza with chopped tomatoes no basil . we asked the waitress on why it came like that since margarita pizza comes with fresh mozzarella and basil. she STATED that the pizza that she received is how they advertise it and that this is the way they make it. my friend asked if she can have something else but the waitress said that she had to still pay for the pizza since there is nothing "wrong" with it. my friend gave in and ordered a burger and asked for it to be cooked well done, when she got the burger it was medium rare, we sent that back quickly. we were there longer than expected for some mediocre food. i just checked right now on their website and tell me why it states it that the margarita pizza comes with "fresh basil"???? that waitress was very passive aggressive and i hope any future customers that they get never experience what we did. we will never be back. this place is a JOKE. read more

The food was very bland, fries were more like crisps, the burgers were cooked perfect but they were very bland and they didn't listen to the stuff I wanted on my burger. Took 50+ minutes for our food to come out. Calamari was rubbery and bland. Soda was flat and the syrup was floating on the bottom and it tasted like water. St. Patrick's Pub was a nice find. We were going to the spa across the street and decided to check them out. The drinks were nicely mixed and fairly priced. The decor was really cool and aligned with the traditional Irish Pub style. The food was excellent and I would definitely go there again. It's a busy neighborhood, but the staff was attentive, friendly, and everything you'd expect from excellent customer service. When the waitress noticed that I was almost done with my drink instead of asking if I wanted another she asked if I wanted her to "refresh my drink", I can see how certain people may assume she means to add on to the existing drink but it's for a charge. lol When she says, "refresh" she means would you like a whole new drink, I knew what she meant but I believe some may not. When we arrived at the pub we were the only people of color and as soon as we walked in all of the patrons stared at us and followed us with their eyes as we walked to our seats. Why did I stay? It was only the other bar patrons who stared, none of the staff behaved this way and you'd think with New York being such a diverse neighborhood people wouldn't stare so bold and rudely. My friend had skin discoloration because she has vitiligo, which again should not have made the patrons stare that hard, but they did. The staff on the other hand observed how rude the patrons were and they were probably extra nice to us because of it. Overall, I enjoyed myself and would definitely go again. Dropped in after work for a quick drink with a friend. Ordered 2 vodka tonics...and a few appetizers.... Let's start with the drinks....i told the waitress/bartender that it tasted "wierd" I asked if they poured tonic? She proceed to "scold me" LMAO... and says YES! It's tonic, it's from the hose..If I give you another one it's going to taste the same!!! really is that a response you should give a customer!! Now let's go to the food.... I don't know about you but the last time I checked French fries should not be served frozen!! That's right we were given a plate of fries mostly FROZEN!
