    Hamburger

I used to come to this place 25 years ago. I was surprised to see it was still standing. It definitely looks and feels a lot different. I was especially alarmed by the 3 star rating but went through with it. It's located on a big lot with lots of parking. Clean inside and plenty of space to eat. Staff greeted immediately upon entry. Ordered just a hamburger. It's your standard independently owned burger. Lettuce tomato and thousands island dressing. Solid. Paid 5.39 )fee for card). Not 5 star but definitely not 3.

I am new to the area and was looking for a diner style meal. Hamburger Dan's was everything I needed! I ventured out to try the food despite the 3 star rating and I am glad I did. Ordered the chili dog with fries and a root beer. As well as a cheeseburger with fries, extra seasoning and a raspberry iced tea. The food was cooked well and it was very tasty. The server was very friendly and gave me time to look at the menu since it was my first time here. They also speak Spanish which is convenient. She also let me know some of the popular items customers order. Unfortunately their dining area was empty despite it being a Sunday afternoon but there is plenty of seating and fun things to do. I felt the wave of nostalgia when I saw the tattoo vending machine and couldn't resist the .50 tattoo experience. Definitely worth a try.

Got the junior burger because I wasn't too hungry. The burger was small.... Maybe a bit bigger than a cheeseburger from McDonalds. The Dr Pepper had no taste . The fries were good. The service was cool. The gentleman was fast and efficient. The ambiance inside was ok. It's across the street from a middle school so be mindful of the foot traffic after school.

Got this for my daughter got home and was so disappointed this is supposed to be a Waffle ..just get fries or it's a waste of money

Get a better cook and improve on what you give to your customers because you just lost one! I don't play when it comes to the food I feed my children and this went in the trash

This spot is pretty good for a quick bite. U requested crispy fries and that's what I got, but they weren't seasoned enough for me. The bacon cheeseburger was really good. It was chargrilled, and seasoned pretty good. The thing I didn't care for was the avocado, so next time I'll skip that.

Today we decided to get a family pack from hamburger dans we never had a problem before but today we got very old fries hard burgers to burn from the bottom I've been there many times and this has never happened. I think they just reheated the fries. They look very ugly. They try to tell me they were fresh, but you can tell fresh fry from my old one very disappointing. For $43 you expect to get something good not this.

This was my first time trying the place out . I asked for recommendations and based of them ordered a Turkey melt combo. I didn't eat the meal right away, but when I got to a meeting , I started to eat and , oh wow, that was the saddest looking melt I ever seen. It was beyond disgusting and I ended up throwing it away. I also asked for no ice in my drink and got tons of it . The only good thing from the combo were the French fries. I don't tend to write bad reviews but this one had to be shared .

I'm not sure if it's always that lively on Friday nights, but it was the weekend of Warped Tour, so there was a lot of music and energy. If you're looking for a quieter meal, this may not be the best night to visit. The food itself was good, but the wait was much longer than expected. We waited almost 40 minutes for our order. Unfortunately, my burger was also made incorrectly. I ordered the Bacon Bleu Burger but was served a different burger instead. Not quite sure what it was, but it had mushrooms and American cheese. Since we had already waited so long, I decided to just eat it rather than send it back. The burgers were flavorful, but they were smaller than I expected for the price, and they don't come with fries. To round out my meal, I ordered the poutine fries. They were decent. The fries were nice and crispy, which I appreciated. My husband ordered the Burger Don Chendo, and that ended up being the standout of the night. I usually don't like spicy food, but this burger had just the right amount of heat without being overwhelming. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but between the long wait, the incorrect order, and the portion size for the price, the experience was a bit hit-or-miss. I'd be willing to give them another try, especially for the Don Chendo burger, but I'm hoping for a smoother experience next time.

Founded in 1971 in Compton, CA by a Greek immigrant family, Tam's Burgers has been a SoCal…read moreinstitution. They are famous for their pastrami sandwiches, so my wife, our neighbor friend, and I took the short drive to this one location in Long Beach. The pastrami was really good. We've passed by this location many, many times, and I mistakenly grouped it with the many other male name hamburger walk-ups in Long Beach, but owned by Vietnamese (the name 'Tam' was supposedly just made up, to represent an easy-to-remember name for the restaurant). So we planned a Friday lunch date (bit before noon). There was a long drive-thru line which blocked parking spots, but my wife patiently found a good spot for easier exiting. It's a typical fast food set-up, with ordering and paying (CC accepted) done first, with the food being picked up once your name is called. It was busy, with most people getting pick-up or drive-thru, thus took a little bit of time for our food to be prepared, but was nicely served fresh and hot (which makes a huge difference for greasy food like this). Pastrami Sandwich Special ($19.99) - the thinly sliced beef was stacked high, on a non-descript hoagie roll, with a few pickle slices and cheese to dress (so the flavor of the meat was important here, and I really liked it). They must go through a lot of these, since the pre-sliced meat was still juicy, not having sit around being kept warm. The combo came with really good thick cut fries and a soda (Coke products, assuming no refills). We ended up splitting the sandwich, and half of it would have been enough to fill me up. I understand now why this version of pastrami would be a good choice for a burrito or to top fries. Patty Melt ($5.79) - this was OK, a good way to cheaply satisfy hunger pangs. It had been griddled well, to give the hearty bread a satisfying crunch...but it was really oily (mainly from the oil used to grill). Fried Chicken Sandwich ($11.99) - my wife like this, with it using the same soft bread as the pastrami, but this dressed with fresh lettuce and tomatoes. They use pounded breaded chicken patties, definitely the way it was made in the 80's before Chick-fil-e became the norm. There is a web site for Tam's Burgers, but it is for the restaurant chain located in the Inland Empire (split off from this original branch in 1992). There is no web site for the original Tam's locations in LA County (which means any search on the web for official pages, only brings back the IE ones), but watchers of the 2022 Super Bowl would have noticed a two story replica of their 21st store at the half time show. Each store is semi-autonomous, with this being the only location in Long Beach, named #44.

The core experience here is similar, but this location does a great job leaning into local Long Beach culture, something other reviewers said too. Cane's seems genuinely involved with local high schools, and the walls are lined with alumni photos and neighborhood history. Much appreciated. Service is fast, genuinely faster than In-N-Out, which is saying something for a California chain. The value is strong too, $10-15 usually gets you a solid amount of food. The standout is the Texas toast which is buttery, nicely crisped, and honestly kind of unique for a California fast food spot. The chicken itself is fine, nothing special, but it doesn't need to be great because the real star is the Cane's sauce. A smoky, tangy mayo-based dip that's genuinely distinctive. There's a reason you can find it bottled in grocery stores now. Fries are just okay, but again, everything's better with the sauce. A few downsides: the drive-through moves surprisingly slow for how popular it is (never seen it move fast, even on slow days). The interior can also feel overstimulating. The disco ball is charming but the lights are a bit much, and it gets loud. That's especially true late at night, since they're open until almost 4 AM and it draws a big crowd of post-club twenty-somethings and students from CSULB and Long Beach City College. If you can look past the slower drive-through and the sensory overload inside, it's a great spot for a late-night bite.

Tried their beef skewers and they were a bit overpowering for my taste, but they were quite flavorful. Interior design/decor is nothing to brag about, but it's clean. My orders have been to go! Customer service is always excellent! Polite and warm service which makes the ordering process flawless. My goal is to have their Oxtail Noodle soup one day! Oh! And their Chinese Donut. This Cambodian gem knows how to treat and cook for their customers. My new go to! Parking is a hit or miss depending on the time. For the most part there is parking available during the afternoon. Enjoy!

I've been coming here for years. From drive through, walk-in and phone orders. Seen many new faces…read more From years ago till now doesn't feel any difference, little to no change besides this one rude service I got going through the drive through. Love the idea of two drive through but be warn if you choose the left side, you'll definitely have to extend your arms like fantastic 4, to retrieve your food. The area is decent and the ambiance is typical, usually pretty clean. They have outdoor sitting for your convenience for a compact location. Let's dive right into the good stuff, My orders are, 1. Chicken wings ( Wednesday special) bone-in, breaded, and sauced wings. 2. The Big Buford and fries large double cheeseburger with fries The wings are absolutely amazing and crispy. With many flavors to choose from but i usually get the buffalo sauce and mild. Well cook and toss in the sauce. The burger is well prep and juicy delicious. OMG, the fries is hands down my favorite. Great job! I recommend this location due to their drive though availability. Usually clean and sanitized. Their parking lot is spacious and easy access. They have a restroom for your convenience. This place is unique in their own way, from design and presentation, it's pretty nice. If you're in the area, stop by and say hi. Enjoy it here or on the go. Share your experience. P.s. Don't forget to smile cause you're beautiful. SYOY!

Wing Wednesday deal $1 per wing minimum order of 5. Did a taste test comparison picking up BBQ…read morewings from GeeKo Chicken and Rally's BBQ wings as well took them both home and side by side compared. 1. Price wise both are $2 a wing normally so GeeKo lost on the special Wednesday price. 2. Size of the wings, GeeKo won hands down here although more batter on them makes them seem bigger than they are. Both sets of wings were meaty. 3. Portions, Rally's does a 5 and 10 piece, GeeKo does 8 minimum so if you aren't sharing or hungry enough Rally may be a better choice. 4. Flavor of their BBQ sauces were similar Rally more smoky and GeeKo more tangy. 5. Both were cooked perfectly 6. If you like your wings extra saucy then GeeKo is your go to, I prefer dry rubs and lighter sauce levels so for me Rally won that race. All in all a surprisingly close race, Rally wins for me on price, portion and sauce level! I figured no way Rallys wings would even compare to GeeKo.
