My wife and I came in for the spa and massage couples package and everything was incredible. They took all the proper steps in making us feel safe and we saw them sanitizing all the touch points. The steam room and exfoliation treatment were great and our skin felt awesome after that portion. The massage was just as good and we both felt so refreshed and relaxed afterwards. The ladies that took care of us, Latifa and Floria, were so personable and made us feel at ease through the whole process, given that it was our first time. We think Latifa was also the owner or manager and she was incredibly kind and professional all the way through and explained to us the Hammam process and how it's a big part of Moroccan culture. My wife and I both work in hospitality and we appreciated their attention to detail and the overall quality and professionalism of the experience. I went to this Spa on a recommendation from a coworker and tried the deep massage (it turned into a Sports massage) and the Brazilian Sugaring. They were both excellent! Latifah worked out the sports related knots I get in my shoulders and neck area and also stretched me superbly! I've never walked out of a massage with no pain on the first try! I was also impressed with the sugaring service (as I normally go to another spa for this but they are a bit rough) and she was very thorough. Her sweet personality and friendly advice and knowledge of natural beauty products will keep me coming back to try other services! Exceptional tea after the treatments too! I will be back to try the Hammam Spa treatment, as my sensitive yet dry skin only seems to like natural beauty ingredients. Stopped by this spa for the Valentine's Day couples special and was definitely not impressed. The special that I booked was for 2 hours and costs $353 with a forced 18% gratuity. Our appointment was at 2 and we were walking out to pay by 3:15, so hardly 2 hours. The description of the special called for a jacuzzi room and a glass of wine, neither of which were offered. The other services were good (the skin exfoliation and the massage), but the rushed service really took a lot of the enjoyment out of it. Seems liked like it is generally a pretty good spa due to the other ratings, but I was just really disappointed with this visit and probably wouldn't book with this place again. read more

I am going through a long ugly divorce and needed a pamper day. I thought with the sauna, and tea, and exfoliation and a 60 minute foot massage I would be pampered for hours and that's what I wanted. I got there at 3:00 and signed paperwork that said I agree to an 18% mandatory grauitity. After my exfoliation she said I could get dressed and I said I was getting a foot treatment. She said she had already done it. (she did work on my feet but not 60 minutes) I was dressed and ready to go by 4:15. They told me they did the foot treatment as an add on since I got the Hammam. But other than being a little disappointed that it was not longer, my skin feels AMAZING! I can't stop molesting myself. And she also washed my hair and it feels amazing too! I can't wait to go back and buy the shampoo and conditioner. So it's a little less about pampering in my opinion and a little more about doing something good for your skin. I will definitely go back, just with a different expectation. So I give it a 5 star for being good at what THEY do and the atmosphere. read more

Okay so I went in not knowing what to expect and I left feeling like my pores could breathe! It is not pleasurable when you get scrubbed but you see SOO much dead skin come off. They were pleasant, knowledgeable, and ready to educate you on what is happening and the purpose. It is a treatment that you need to be really comfortable with masosit teach everywhere, but nothing unprofessional. After the black soap, scrubbing, and the argan oil massage you will feel like a new person. I can not wait to go back for a facial and begin the Hammam service at least every season. I did hours of research to find the perfect spa experience for my mother on her birthday, and Im so glad I finally found this spa! When I called Kings Spa in Dallas, I was rudely hung up on for asking questions, just asking basic details and why it was so cheap there for $30 admission. Well, that rude girl at kings spa in Dallas hung up on me! That was all I needed to know, so I found this spa on Yelp, most of the reviews were great, so I called and spoke to Rhonda, who was VERY NICE! she was very patient, and answered all of my questions so I would KNOW they would take GOOD CARE OF MY MOM! I got her the VIP DELUXE Package, $400.00 plus 20% tip, and I got the Hammam full body scrub and massage. I also got a complimentary facial by booking from Yelp! Another thing, most spas require you to give a credit card to hold the reservation, but my sister in another country was going to pay for it, so she was nice enough to reserve our spots and wait for my sister to call to pay her direct! MOST SPAS WONT DO THAT, I know, I used to manage a high end spa in the Hamptons, Naturopathica. I KNOW MY SPA ETIQUETTE! They opened the doors for us when we arrived, offered us that delicious Moroccan mint tea everyone speaks of, and water. We were escorted to the changing room to put on our robes and slippers. We then spent about 15-20 minutes in their comforing wet sauna. They gave us more refreshments, we were the only ones there and really felt like VIP's! As it should be when you go to the spa! I particularly enjoyed the black soap and exfoliating body scrub, to get all of the Coachella dust off me from the weekend before! MUCH NEEDED! Rhonda was really fun to talk to, we grew up in the same era, and were talking pop culture like old girlfriends from High School or something! Latifah came in and did a special herbal clay body/pain detox on my mom and wrapped her in what looked like aluminum foil for her to detox. I liked the extra special touches. Then, my mom had an herbal bath in the jacuzzi tub with a bag of special herbs in there too! I was allowed to stay in the room and watch while she got her full VIP treatment. They also did a hand and foot treatment on my mom. Latifah scrubbed my moms feet until they were soft as a baby's bottom! Latifah also brought us wine! That topped it off! I had my facial done by Rhonda while my mom was getting shampooed and scrubbed. They were very organized the whole 4 hours! I was very impressed! We then had our massages with Argan Oil, which is very good for the skin, just like the black soap is. My therapist could have gone a litter harder and deeper on the massage, especially when I asked her to, but she did hit some spots that needed relaxing, just wish it was more pressure. Rhonda did my mom and sounds like she did a good job on massaging my mom, maybe just a bit more pressure to her neck, but that's minor, and it was our first time, and many are scared to press to hard, they are scared to hurt people, but we like deep tissue! lol. After that, another nice employee did a facial on my mom, using honey and other things I couldn't see because I was getting my massage. But I could IMMEDIATELY tell my moms skin and neck looked so much tighter than before! While we both were still on the table! We had more tea and water, and took our time getting ready, it was from 5pm to almost 9pm! To top it off, Latifah gave my mom a special Moroccan BRACLET, free incense that my mom mentioned she liked, charcoals for the incense, and a beautiful bejeweled Moroccan incense holder that looks like a goblet! She brought it out to us as we were leaving! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! We even went by the next day since we live within walking distance,and had tea and conversation! we are booked for the special on mothers day as well, for another full body scrub! I had friend come back from Morocco and tell me about the Hammams there, and so I was delighted to find that there is something similar in Houston! Took my sister for a hammam treatment and massage. After basking in a steamy cubicle, we were rinsed with splashes of warm water, slathered with black soap and scrubbed down with loofah mitts till our skin was baby bottom soft and glowing! This was followed by a thorough Swedish massage. We left feeling soft and moisturized and as relaxed as wet noodles. Had my first Hammam today, it was wonderful! I'm so happy that I tried this place out, you should too. If you are shy it might be a bit of an adventure but I assure you that it is totally worth it. I don't know where to begin! This was such an amazing new experience for us. As soon as we arrived the whole staff was amazing from start to finish. The environment was calming and relaxing, not to mention incredibly clean. We went in for a regular facial but Latifa was adament that we try the full Hammam body scrub. The facility is clean and serene... You definatley get the spa feeling. I can't give 5 star because I guess I'm used to a different hammam experience. They have them in private rooms which is nice but I'm just used to hot tubs and a larger facility. Also after my body scrub I didn't feel the freshly exfoliated feel I am used to. I must admit that my first Moroccan luxury spa experience was amazing! I selected the Moroccan Hammam and massage package, which included a complimentary facial. This service began with a whole body application of black soap. Then followed by a steam shower of 15 min. My skin was then exfoliated using hand gloves ( which you take home with you). I also selected an Argan oil foot treatment which occurred simultaneously with my exfoliation. My spa treatment ended with a hybrid massage- cross between Swedish and Deep Tissue. JUST AMAZING!! My skin feels so smooth and silky. My face is glowing. My soul feels so relaxed! I also must comment on the facility. VERY CLEAN with beautiful Moroccan inspired decor. I had never experienced a Moroccan hammam before. The owner Latifa greeted me at the door. She was very sweet and had a bubbly outgoing personality. She explained the whole process. I was immediately taken to the treatment room which was warm, very clean and had a pleasant ambiance. The therapist who did the hammam exfoliation was very professional and personable. She talked me through the whole process. I couldn't believe the amount of dead skin that came off my body! After the exfoliation I took a shower and used the body wash and shampoo and conditioner which all contained argan oil and all produced by Hammam Spa. After my treatment I relaxed in the lounge with a hot cup of moroccan tea The loungewas decorated in moroccan style with the most beautiful furniture I have ever seen. The owner was so sweet and talked to me while I was relaxing in the lounge. I want to add that the spa does have an 18% gratuity policy but in my experience that is standard in most high end spas .Im a spa junkie and have honestly never had a more accommodating and enjoyable experience. I read some great reviews on the Hamman Spa and gave it a try. I had the Hamman with a massage plus a hair treatment. I arrived and was able to chill a bit in the lounge area. It smelled delicious and I was offered some delicious Moroccan tea. The Hamman was amazing- it was my first one. All my troubles went away. The hair treatment was much needed and the massage felt great. I asked for lots of pressure and my shoulder knots were kneaded out. All the ladies were very kind and made me feel very comfortable.
