This group was kind of shady to deal with & it was similar to pulling teeth trying to find a customer service oriented employee. The employees do what they can do avoid doing work, which inherently effects their customer service. - They verbally try to finesse you with "throwing in an alignment" with your new tires, when it's only a half alignment. I'll acknowledge that it does clarify on the building, but just say it up front. Don't let me notice that after I'm on the hook. Nobody wants a half alignment. - They guarantee a warranty upfront for new tires. One of my brand new tires blew out within 6 weeks of the purchase. Guess what, when it came time to cash in on that guarantee, every employee that I spoke to wanted to get off the phone. - I provided the exact brand & size of the tire, the exact date & time of the transaction, my exact car & year.... but that isn't sufficient information to a knowledge my warranty.... Mind blowing. I will acknowledge that the woman that runs the place was kind, but she was the only pleasant person that I spoke to. It is also worth mentioning that they do offer solid rates on the tires. I would suggest that the employees that have poor social skills, stick to their craft, & not be at the forefront of facilitating transactions & warranties. It paints the image of this place being unreliable, when I'm sure there's capable people involved. I honestly wish that I had a better experience with this place, because they are local, family owned, & affordable. I just don't trust this place to be reliable after my experience. read more

Charles and Juan were so amazing I came in with a bent rim and Didn't know what to do I was out in 20 minutes or so. Plus I was able to get my inspection so they were just to riffing very professional friendly And took care of business. I cannot stand dinner with car issues but they didn't hagel me or po gyp me it was a great experience Have to add that I also God a state inspection and Eric was so courteous professional thorough and gave me a diamond nugget on info to go to kroger or Tom Thumb or fiesta to pay your Carver adjust ration instead of happen to go to DMV And deal with long lines and headache. These fellows are true gentlemen! We've been to Hamm's twice and both times we've received speedy and honest service. Today was our second visit, we'd just gotten a flat and repaired it with emergency sealant and so I was expecting to need a whole new tire. The gents at Hamm's repaired that tire as well as another I had that was low and charged me a paltry $12! A very dishonest business. I am pursuing in small claims court. I bought 4 new tires from this place for $480 to include a free alignment. The guy hiked my car up then let it back down and said he finished the alignment. I told him he didn't do anything. I was watching. He thinks because I am a woman that he can do bad business. He said if you don't like it go somewhere else! I went to the Ford dealership which is who usually does my alignment, and they performed the alignment after first verifying that it had not been done at Hamms! I already knew that. I am filing a suit in court because there is no telling how many people they have screwed over with dishonest and lazy workers. Terrible business practices. read more

All these years and I never knew what I was missing out on! I'm so mad at not listening to my friends sooner. I had the pleasure of hitting one of Dallas's lovely Texas sized potholes while flying down 35 at 70mph. When I felt it, I instantly knew it wasn't going to be good. I was watching my dashboard just holding my breath, waiting to see if my low tire indicator would come on. Sure enough, it did. I have never seen my pressure drop so quickly. From 35 psi down to 0 in seconds. I've been lucky enough in my 35 years of life to have never experienced a flat like this before. I've always dealt with slow leaks from nails and that's about it. So today is my day! Bam! New tire completely destroyed and I drive an Acura. When I bought it they informed me "we find owners of Acura's don't usually change their own tires so instead of a spare you have an air compressor with sealant". Sounded nifty. I felt fancy. I never had the type of flat this device wouldn't work on. But apparently I finally made it! My air compressor wasn't going to get me out of this one. I call a tow truck and decide I'm going to tow myself home since I have melting groceries in my car and it's 10pm. Deal with it tomorrow, get another tow or whatever. But then I had this thought pop in my mind....what about that tire place I always pass on my way home that's open late? I know my friends have spoken highly about it. I call just to see what they say. Do you have my tire in stock? Yes. Are you going to be open by the time I make it there? Yes. Open until midnight AND the gentleman on the phone was nice enough to tell me I could call if I was running a little behind and THEY WOULD WAIT FOR ME!!! I inform him that I have melting groceries in my car that need to make it home and ask how long I can expect to be there. He says "10-15 minutes". No way. People love to estimate shorter times to get you in there and once you're stuck, you learn the truth. But I figure, what the hell. I'll give it a go. I'd rather take care of this tonight than have to deal with it for a second day. I get there at 11:10pm. He tells me they have my tire for $40 if used and $90 new. Wowza! What a steal! Sat down in the office for what felt like seconds before he was bringing me my bill and receipt saying it's done. No way! "I told you 10-15 minutes!", he said while laughing. Holy shit! This guy was for real. I'm home with my groceries at 11:30pm. I can't believe how speedy and affordable this place is. And not only that, they are kind and a local company instead of some giant corporate business getting rich off my pour decisions. I'm so mad at myself for never trying this place sooner. Less than stellar performance compared to many previous visits: Requested a quote on replacing front wheel bearing on a Toyota Tundra. A WTF moment with the alignment guy: attempted the `adjust` the calipers. Failed to do a run-out (dial indicator) on the hubs or quote a price for bearing replacement as requested. At the hub edge, I show L.side= .003 & R.side= .004 out of true. The vibrations tends to shake the lug nuts loose ;-0 No worries though, Hams left money on the table & I found another solution elsewhere. Maybe this alignment guy wasn't up to the task. My go-to place for tire help. I've come here 3 times for tire repair from nails. They've helped my nearly immediately and I haven't had to wait for the entire fix for more than 15 minutes. The have perfected the tire repair. Didn't even have to get out of the car. Jacked it up, took off the tire, found the TWO nails in it, (I only knew about one) plugged them, aired it up, put it back on the car. $20. I was there for exactly 12 minutes, and I left eight minutes before they closed at midnight. Outstanding service. I've been needing to do this for awhile and have been airing it up. I called to get a quote for 2 new tires. I read the yelp reviews. What really persuaded me was this, directly from their website: "When we quote you a tire price, it includes everything--even taxes. Remember almost every other tire store will quote only a portion of the price to get you in the door, only to hit you with all the extra installation, disposal fees, and taxes afterward. Our prices are always "out the door" prices. We can and will save you money on tires." I rushed to get there as quickly as I could. The parking area was confusing, I was told to park in a certain spot, then someone else rushed their way in before I could, so was forced to wait longer. I walked into the lobby/office since I wasn't sure what to do/where to go. I let the guy know I called about 2 tires and he remembered me. I was then charged double of what I was expecting, $400 instead of $200. I didn't want or need 4 new tires, but that is what I got. No one asked me, it just happened, maybe b/c of language barrier? I felt a little better when I realized at least I had earned a free front end alignment. The "front end alignment" guys reluctantly looked at my vehicle.
