I got snowed in here the other night and the staff was absolutely great. I got a little snack bag because I am a Hilton Honors member, they got me a fork to eat the dinner I picked up, helped me manage the waffle machine in the morning and gave me a toothbrush. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, the temperature was easy to regulate and they plowed without burying my car. Nicely done. read more

I have said it before and I will say it again. Hampton Inns are the one chain that I always know I can count on. Their formula is well tuned and when I see a Hampton Inn I always book it as I know what to expect. This property is one of the smaller properties. It's near the big mall in Braintree and just off the highway to the Cape. It's a basic Hampton Inn with a nice lobby, a large pool and good breakfast each morning. The rooms are average size for the property. I did notice that this hotel is a little bit old in it's color tones, a lot of brown and beige. Some of the newer hotels spice it up a bit with a splash of color. However my room was in good shape, everything worked fine and I had a nice sized bathroom. There was nothing WOW about this hotel, but I did not have one complaint. I got a good night's sleep. The breakfast is good (I like the Hampton Inn's oatmeal). The staff was friendly and helpful. When I say this is an average Hampton Inn that is NOT an insult. They offer a great product and this one fits the formula in every way. Average for Hampton is a good thing! read more

The bed was very uncomfortable, I woke up multiple times in the night because my back hurt. The pillows were lumpy. The pool was supposed to be heated but it wasn't it was freezing. The Cable kept cutting in and out, so I ended up watching a movie on my tablet instead. After having to pay five dollars for high speed connection to stream a movie. The so-called shower curtain they had hung up in the bathroom was cloth and didn't do anything to keep water off the floor. Shower has absolutely no pressure, it was not enjoyable. I would never stay here again please don't waste your time. read more

Stayed here for an NFPA class. Room rate is decent, staff is nice and helpful. Room size is fairly generous, nothing enormous but far bigger than some NYC hotel rooms. Hotel gym is small but has basic essentials. Hotel breakfast was different everyday which I liked but wasn't very good just your average hotel breakfast but was complimentary. I liked that most things to do were within a 2-5 minute drive. Some decent local restaurants, the shopping mall are right around the corner and Boston is about 20-30 minute drive depending on traffic. If you're looking for a decent room to lay your head and not a super expensive elegant hotel to spend a vacation I'd recommend this place. read more

This was perhaps the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms were filthy. The front desk didn't even ask for an id upon check in, they just handed a key when we told them our name. The carpet could have grown plants it was so dirty an the bathroom was disgusting. The parking lot at night had strange men hanging around all night and it was a bit frightening walking through the lot when we could not park in front of the hotel after dark. I would avoid this hotel at all costs, for the money you are not getting what you pay for. It reminded us of a hotel in a horror movie. read more

The property was disgusting. Our first room stunk so bad like mold and filth. The bedding had stains, it wasn't clean at all. We then asked to be moved and the next room wasn't much better. But at least it had clean bedding it seemed. The toilet in the bathroom stayed kicked on. Constantly sounded like it was draining and had just been flushed when it hadn't. We had to close the bathroom door to keep the noise out. The front office stuff was ok. They took a while to come to the desk when we arrived because she was on w personal call (could see/ hear her on her cell) but aside from that they were ok. The location is right next to some very smelly factory or mill of some kind. You go outside when it's running and you can't breath. I've stayed at plenty of Hampton's and we were just very grossed out and disappointed. Certainly won't be staying there again. Would honestly be better at a super 8 or something. My husband and I just had a one night stay here, and I literally just needed a bed, as I was recovering from a hospitalization and work was being done at our home. I loved the room and was most impressed with the comfort of the beds, very nice! Liked the set up of the bathroom, every need was there and towels were on the wall to just grab, really liked that alot. The fridge was super cold ( I needed to store an ice pack), and really liked having the microwave the next morning as my husband brought breakfast to me. They allowed me to stay till 1:00 pm, no questions asked. Highly recommend and will definitely be staying here again. read more

Beware if you're using this hotel for Corporate use... i booked a room for someone for our company, gave them all my info (over the phone), credit card #, name, date, how long of stay. Got a confirmation number and everything. But when it came to check out, she was unable to leave, as they needed some kind of confirmation for the credit card and wouldn't let her leave. Now don't you you think this is something they should have done at time of making the reservation? i mean its not the persons fault. It was a mess and the manager was a JOKE! BEWARE. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with this Hampton Inn. Stayed here for one night since I was in the area on business. The bed was very nice and comfortable and the shower was large with good water pressure. The complementary breakfast downstairs is a huge plus. The seating area is spacious and has a couple TVs. There was a coffee bar, eggs, cereal, bagels, fruit, yogurt and even a waffle maker. Just what I needed in the morning before my meeting, instead of dealing with the traffic trying to find a Starbucks. If I need to come to the south shore area I'd definitely stay here again. And it's close enough if you need to get to Boston. read more

I CANT SAY ENOUGH not only about this beautiful Hotel and all of the great amenities, but ESPECIALLY the staff. I would give specific names, however, in the 2 weeks that i stayed there, every single person from front desk- all shifts- to shuttle drivers and housekeeping went ABOVE and BEYOND in every way. I could not walk through the lobby without all who was working greeting me with a smile ans asking how i was. SO REFRESHING. Corporate needs to know that this staff has turned me into a forever Hampton Inn Guest. This hotel is a little off the beaten path, but at least it's kind of close to the highway. I only found one restaurant around me but there are several of the hotels so that seems a little odd to me. The people at the front desk have been moderately friendly but no one has been overly friendly. The hotel seems a little old But the rooms are very nice. All in all it's not a bad place and it's a great price to be in the Boston area. read more

Greeted by a friendly woman at the front desk, ready to assist tired travelers ! When checking in I asked her if I could get a few extra pillows and she assured me that was no problem. Ten minutes later there was a knock at the door with 2 pillows and a question," would you like anything else? Bedtime, I couldn't find my tea bag..The same kind lady helped me fix a cup of tea. The hotel is clean, nice beds and a positive place to stay. Try it, I'm glad we did. Last night we stayed downtown for a wonderful Angel Flight program. that hotel was much more expensive and not nearly as nice as this one. I like free parking and tea.safe travels to all. read more

This was an ok stay. I booked through kayak, and got no option for bed/smoking preferences. The room I got had 2 small beds and smelled like smoke, which is definitely not what I wanted. I immediately asked for a non-smoking room. I was told curtly that none was available. However, they did call me back a minute later and offered to spray and put in an air freshener. That was appreciated. Otherwise, things were as expected for this class of hotel: the room was clean, and sufficiently modern. The free wifi was not usable for video, but worked fine for other internet activities. The gym was very small: basically just a few aerobic machines. Breakfast: A bit above typical continental: included hot eggs, but was otherwise unimpressive. Staff was attentive and helpful. read more

Worst Hampton Inn in my experience, I am a Hilton Diamand member. Room is ok, but for breakfast, there were 20 people in line waiting for food but food tray was totally empty, the server took out some food in about 20 minutes but people empty the tray in 2 minutes, and long waiting line continued. Not only food they ran out all coffees and milk, so people with dry cereal in bows wonder around with no milk. And they closed out breakfast on time with many waited for 1 or 2 hour no food to eat. Bad hotel management to oversee this and should staff proper breakfast staff or upgrade equipment. read more

I stay here all the time when traveling to Boston on business. I must have stayed here 20+ times in the last year. It is a good hampton inn location which is centrally located to a lot of the travel I have to do around the metro Boston area. Rooms are clean and staff is friendly. Great hotel with free breakfast, parking, wifi, and shuttle service. Staff is really hardworking, helpful and super nice. I'm also really impressed that I saw the manager (Ryan) mopping the floor one day. I respect those managers who don't just stand around and give orders but actually do the work just like everybody else. The breakfast is really good with a variety of choices, including lots of fruit (not just apples and oranges but pineapple, grapefruit, blueberries, and papaya). The only two areas that I feel can be improved is the shuttle service and the business center. The shuttle is not all that reliable. I waited 40 minutes for pick up at the subway station. Even when I called in advance for shuttle reservation, the driver was 15 minutes late (he was getting coffee? Seriously?). Also, the computers and the printer at the business center are not set up properly to print out boarding passes. One of the computers did not have an updated browser to certain airline websites. When I finally got it to work, the printer did not work. Half an hour wasted trying to troubleshoot technical issues. That can be easily avoided with an updated system and working printer. read more

Stayed here for 17 days with my wife and daughter for a visit back to Boston. Everything was great. Our room was comfortable...had a fridge and microwave. The pool and hot tub were nice and it has a cool little gym with good equipment. breakfast was good every morning and there is 24 hour free coffee, tea and hot chocolate in lobby. The staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit back home. read more

The hotel room itself I would give 3 stars to only because there was a weird low beep that was non stop. The front desk however, specifically Margaret gets NO stars. We booked through Expedia and advised the front desk that we would be checking In around 8pm. She said it was fine and the room would be waiting, the hotel charged our card the total amount due for 3 nights at 6pm. When we checked in at about 8:30pm she asked for a card, which I assumed was for incidentals but she never explained why, she just continued to swipe it and handed us our key cards. It wasn't until my husband and I were at dinner shortly after that we realized that she had charged the card in the amount of the total nights stay. We now have over $1200 pending on our account and we didn't even stay for dinner because of this issue and headed back to the hotel to rectify it. When we arrive she gives us major attitude stating that because we gave her a different card then what was paid with she had to charge it for the total amount, about 10min into the argument I ask her what card was charged at 6pm and she now claims that she doesn't have access to see the card because it was a third party booking. Needless to say nothing was resolved that night and she told us to speak to the manager Stephanie in the morning. She was Super nice, spoke to our bank and had then release the funds they were holding. Even Comp't us a night after explaining that Margaret should have explained everything to us and WAS able to see what card was already charged in full. Smh. The rest of the stay was fine (besides getting dirty looks when we entered during Margaret's 3-11pm shift). I am disappointed that now 2 days after I checked out I was charged for the THIRD time in the amount of my full stay!!!! Called my bank and had them fix the issue and they are now monitoring my account. Won't be back to this hotel and DO NOT recommend the hassle of staying here. Plenty of nicer hotels in the area for the same price. read more

We booked a room with 2 queen beds for myself, my husband and our 2 kids. The first room we were given had a problem with the air conditioner leaking on the carpet so we requested another room. Within 5 minutes we were given another room which was perfect. The decor is updated and more modern than other hotels I have stayed in and the beds and pillows comfortable. Selena at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. We took their shuttle to the Quincy Adams Station and then the T into Boston. On the way back all we had to do was call the front desk when we were a couple of stops away and they sent the shuttle to pick us up. The hot breakfast was a great way to start the morning and way better then I expected and the coffee in the lobby was good and available all the time. The pool and fitness area was also clean and well maintained. There are many restaurants and a mall close by along with a good wine and liquor shop across the street. I would highly recommend this hotel and Hampton Inns in general. We had a great stay and would definitely go back! read more
