Great hotel stay. I really liked this hotel. It's part of the Hilton group of hotels and Hilton rewards apply here. I stayed here recently with my husband and while it was a last-minute choice to stay here (we were caught in a downpour), it was definitely a wise choice. The hotel itself is updated and everything looks new. We were offered a room with a king bed on an upper floor. The room was not huge, but it was well-appointed, the furniture was new and recently updated, the bed was super comfy (hello, good night's sleep), the bedding was luxurious, the bathroom was big and had decent lighting (that's very important), the WiFi was fine, and the towels were fluffy and new. The room came equipped with plenty of outlets for charging devices (yessss), a coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge, coffee/tea, hairdryer, robes, Neutrogena skincare products (including facial makeup remover towelettes), iron/iron board, tons of hangers, and an iHome station, etc. The breakfast in the lobby was excellent for the price. The continental breakfast included eggs, a waffle bar, sausage, gravy, hot homemade oatmeal, numerous pastries, fresh fruits, yogurt, bagels, cereal, coffee, creamer, juices, etc. My husband said the homemade oatmeal was great. Items were constantly replenished by the staff, so nothing was lacking. The pool was great, very clean, warm and relaxing, even though no hot tub was to be found. That was a bummer, but it was fine, we didn't really miss it. The gym was nice, too, with newer workout equipment and plenty of space. It was definitely one of the nicer hotel exercise rooms we've seen recently. As for the employees, they were great, helpful and courteous. Since we arrived without a reservation and didn't book on a third party site like we traditionally do, the concierge gave us a discount, anyway. I think our room was $99, which was fine. I'd absolutely consider staying here again on a road trip.

    Nice clean rooms!

This place is located right off the highway with lots of fast food eating spots and gas stations near by. There's also a Mexican steakhouse nearby which wasn't very good. We came out here hoping to see a Moonbow at Cumberland Falls State Park. The drive is not bad at all about 1520 minutes away. The hotel staff was very nice the food was delicious. I definitely recommend this place !!

The staff is very friendly. The rooms are ok. BUT the building itself is horrible. The wall paper in the hallways are all pealing or have sloppy patches that are peeling. There are huge scuff marks and stains on the walls in the bedrooms. That is just cosmetic and could be over looked. However, on the 3rd floor, there is a massive water leak. So much that there are several LARGE garbage cans in the center of the hallway and have been there throughout the duration of my 5 day stay. In these cans is dirty water, trash and broken ceiling tiles. The only reason why I did not switch hotels immediately was because there aren't many options close to the University and I wanted to get my points. Don't stay here!!!!

We always stay at this Hampton inn when we are in Williamsburg. It is clean has an indoor pool and a gym. This trip it was full. There were softball teams, students checking out the local college and people like us fleeing from the path of Irma. 6 million people without electric in Florida this place is heaven. They offer a breakfast every morning. It's your typical breakfast buffet, scrambled eggs, pastries, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, waffles, juices, etc. Hilton has temporarily changed their policy to allow pets due to everyone displaced by Irma. I applaud them for This.

    Pool was cloudy.. Dirty

First the room was amazing, the inside was under construction and should have been put together somewhat during the day time. The breakfast bar was amazing. The pool is freezing and its an indoor pool plus the water was dirty. There are no vending machines so a regular vending machines soda at the front cost you 3 dollars, your best bet is to go to the gas station across the street. All in all a very clean and cozy place.

You can call this the front door because when you walk its like home.

If one calls the number, it goes straight to the front desk, not to a reservations call center. Good first impression. Had checked in to this hotel for business and it was some way in from the road that it is towards the back of a bunch of businesses on a side street. You have to use a middle of the road turning lane to get to it if coming from I-75 (I hate unprotected turns, much prefer a signal light). It is right next door to a Super 8. When I entered, the gal on staff (4:30 p.m. on 3/18) was super nice. She was able to get my reservation up and assign me a room. I noticed, however, that when I reached my room, the lock was holding the door open. I went back down to ask and she stated that when cleaning crew do that, it is to alert another among them to replace towels. I told her this and she immediately left her post and came with me to resolve the issue. She even gave me two cookies for free (not sure if cookies are free anyway. They look like the free ones, one to a plastic sealed pouch and they were GOOD.) After entering the room, it was definitely spacious, much bigger than the other Holiday Inn I stayed at in Horse Cave City, KY. The distance from the bed to the t.v. was a lot and the entry way had its own room and to the left was the bathroom. The bathroom has a shower stall instead of a bath tub (which I like). One other thing I like about this bathroom is that the toilet paper rolls are right next to the toilet. OMG!!! You do not know how many hotels there are where the toilet paper is like steps away to get or in some awkward place where one has to contort in order to get to. The breakfast was not bad either. It has all the hot and cold foods one would find. Specifically, I just want to point out that the sausage pork patties at this location are done well! Props to the individual who puts out the breakfast. They were brown and crispy, not still grey and floppy. This location does not have turkey sausage patties, however, and does not have the egg beater yellow eggs as an option either. This is just something I noticed in comparison to the Holiday Inn in Horse Cave City, KY. Four issues I found: There is no trashcan next to the coffee machine area. There is one trashcan near the desk area (near the t.v.) and one trashcan near the bathroom. It was kind of inconvenient to have to walk from the coffee area to either of these spots to throw anything away. The shower stall door, the one closest to the shower head, one cannot get to immediately after entering the bathroom. The door radius basically takes up all the space and so one has to enter through the second sliding door towards the back of the shower. With sliding door showers, I always have the door with the handle on the outside as the front and the one with the handle, inside, towards the back. One cannot have it this way because of the radius of the door opening and covering the front part. The breakfast area, where the hot tubs (LOL...because hot tubs should be located in the pool area) are with the biscuits and gravy, pork sausage, and white omelets are located; who in the heck designed that layout? Like other hotels I have been to, one has to hold the lid open, spoon the item into a plate, while also holding the plate and hope the lid does not fall back down to cover the hot tub. Maybe make more counterspace so that one can put a plate down and be able to hold the lid of the hot tub while spooning the item onto the plate? I do not have three hands! The elevators did not have inspection certificates in them.

The room has a couch in the entry way, king sized bed (photo 9 out of 108) and a really nice looking shower in the bathroom (photo 29 out of 108). The issues I have found on my first day here is that the spray from the sink goes off to the side (room 23) and the t.v., though a big improvement to the cable package since last time (has travel channel, Discovery, etc.) has a set volume. Every time I hit the volume button, it has two options (shows icons of headphones and tv), but the increase and decrease of the volume is only shown over the headset icon. From the remote itself, I cannot cursor to the t.v. icon (which is how I think could increase the volume) and so I have to stay with a set low volume. It kind of aggravated me. Apparently, it seems like it is random. In the morning, the volume changed over to speakers. Weird. The breakfast today was great. The sausage patties were cooked well. They also have cheese omelets which makes this location unique. The only item I did not see was yogurt (which I do not usually eat anyway, but I see at other hotels). The juice dispenser has four options (orange juice, apple juice, cranberry juice, and water). I always love taking the cranberry juice if its an option. The breakfast board, that lists out the items for what will be put out for breakfast every day is a bit misleading though. They have sausage patty listed for one day and the rest they have "sausage." I thought it may have been sausage links, but I had just seen sausage patties. One might as well take the time to write the whole two words out. It would have been nice to see sausage links though to change things up.

Our stay at this place was a total disappointment. First I booked on Priceline which was easy, however our room looked nothing like what we had booked. Our room was super outdated, the walls had spill drips everywhere, mold in the shower area on the walls. Stains on the black carpet. The room of which I thought I booked was updated nice wood floors, nice updated bathroom, not what we walked into. My husband and I were waking up with new bug bites every morning but we were thinking it was chigger bites because we were outside a lot. After research it looked like they could have been bed bug bites but we couldn't find any. We were so confused. So we had our bedding changed just in case on 6/14/26. Which we asked for our room to be cleaned that day and it wasn't, when we got back at 3:30pm, I had to call down and try to get my room cleaned. Anyways, the morning of, the 15th, we got up and we found a bug on the bed and we used google lens and ChatGPT of both which said it was a bed bug. I then looked up a bunch of pictures of bed bugs and sure enough, that's what it was. My husband called down to the front desk right away and the lady came upstairs, saw it for herself, grabbed the bug after taking a picture and threw it away. She said it was disgusting and apologized and said someone would call me as we were getting ready to head out and nobody from management or owner was going to be in until 10:30 or later. A manger called me at 12pm and said all they could do was refund the early check in fee of $35 and that they checked the room there was nothing there and the picture that was taken was blurry so they couldn't tell exactly what it was. My husband has over 40 bed bug bites on him, I have a handful and thankfully my baby was sleeping in a bassinet set up and hoping she doesn't get any on the way home. They made it seem like we bottled one up and put it there on purpose over the phone. This isn't just a small inconvenience this is itchiness and pain for 1-3 weeks and we have to figure out how to clean EVERYTHING and not drag them into my house and all they did was refund us an early check in fee!?! The lady I talked to said they were going to call back and I never received a call. I waited exactly a whole week later and called back asking for a GM or owner as they promised one would call me back. The owner was there and said there are no bugs, they take it seriously and can assure me someone did call me even though I have no voicemail or missed call from them. As I was explaining things and making it known I was unhappy, I was being talked over and it was end of there day and instead of looking into some kind of compensation or solution now, they are dragging it out another day and are suppose to call me back. They did call me back and again they don't have bugs it could have gotten there many ways and not doing anything other than the early check in fee and corporate said they can't do anything either. Unacceptable and do not stay here. Spend your money else where on a place that is clean, doesn't false advertise and somewhere that will take care of you if something were to happen.
