Three words: Dan Dan Noodles. I've had them here several times and they are always on point. I make sure to get the sauces on the side. That way, you can add and mix based on your tastes. I hate writing a negative review, particularly when i think the food is great. But this place is seriously understaffed. Hope the owners see this and respond. For the third time in the last couple of months nobody answers the phone so i ordered from somewhere else. The one time i did get through it was after 5 tries. When i went to pick up the food it was utter chaos at the front desk. Numerous people waiting for food orders promised 20 minutes earlier. One poor guy trying to wait tables and handle the front desk at the same time. Lots of frustrated people. I hope they fix this issue. I don't want to see this place close down. read more

My family and I enjoyed a shared meal of Double Cooked Style Fish, Hot Pot Shrimp, Lo Mein, and Scallion Pancakes. I personally loved the fish, which was a suggestion by the GM. The pancakes were too crispy for my liking but they were consistent. The hot pot was very spicy, almost too spicy to enjoy (and we love spice). I think it was the amount of chili's in the dish that we picked out. The noodles were flavorful on their own with no veggies (5 year old request). Just having moved here, I've been spurned by previous take out experience that I was hesitant about ordering from yet another Chinese food place. I was completely wrong! The Taiwanese sausage rice noodles were great, chicken fried rice was excellent, and the garlic chicken had spice but not enough to make your mouth feel like it was burning. 10/10 would definitely go back and try other items on their menu. The only thing I thought tasted weird were the wontons in the wonton soup, it had a different taste to what I had been used to but the other food we ordered were great so it's not enough to turn me away from going back to their place. read more

We are huge fans of han dynasty in Philly. We recently moved to the neibourhood so wanted to try the cherry hill Han dynasty. We are vegetarians and mentioned that multiple times while placing order ( see the attached invoice). We drive 20 mins , pick up food and guess what, beef in the noodles ! OILY!! We got the dan dan noodles, mapo tofu, and garlic sauce chicken and everything we ordered was extra oily! I was so excited to come here but was disappointed with our food! Everything was too bland and when we asked for hot sauce we got chili oil which would make our food even more oily. The dan dan noodles were pasty! The tofu in the mapo tofu was soft, kinda similar to marshmallows...I don't know if I'm just used to eating tofu crispy or stir fried. I love flavorful food and the dishes here were not that. Wow first time ordering takeout here. I was craving that Szechuan spicy goodness. This place sure fulfilled my tastebuds. Order the dan dan noodles please! Had dinner here last night with my family and while nothing was terrible it was okay, nothing too special and definitely did not agree with my palate. To start we got the scallion pancakes and the chili oil dumplings. Pancakes were good and the dumplings were okay. The filling is very small and tastes like ground up beef. Chili oil was quite tasty. Ratio of the skin fold of the dumpling vs the filling is definitely not correct. Next for the entrees we got the chicken in garlic sauce and spicy beef and the minced pork string beans. Out of those three I would have to say the string beans were my personal favorite but it was far too salty. The chicken and garlic sauce had and over powering taste of rice wine vinegar which I was not a fan of. The beef came in a large bowl with spicy broth and mixed cilantro and cabbage with beef. Wayyyyyy to salty and honestly I did not care for the flavor profile. The garlic sauce did not taste like garlic, the beef dish was not spicy and there was an overwhelming amount of salt in almost all the dishes. My dad had been dying to go after hearing great things but the four of us concurred that while the food isn't bad, we wouldn't return. As "authentic" as they are, they're not. Better than the Americanized Chinese food, just not as good as Chinatown in Philly. Service was good, wait staff is friendly and attentive. They fill waters, take away food plates, and serve quickly. TIP: Ask for extra rice to go with your leftovers because it's always a good idea to order more & indulge again the next day. The main entrees are organized by style of cooking (e.g. dry pot, hot sauce, salt & pepper, etc.) and you have a selection of protein to choose from. They don't skimp on the spicy but will adjust accordingly if you so request. To be or not to be... That is the question folks! "CNN Top 50 Chinese restaurants in America" --I would not be so sure about that! First of all, great marketing technique putting that CNN sign out there but onto the part that really matters; the food. I ordered the "Salt n Pepper Scallops". The scallops were battered in salt and onions. Warning: if you have high blood pressure, this platter is not for you! I feel like I am going to have a high blood pressure emergency! The menu said "carefully battered" but my scallops were just straight up battered with an overload of salt. I scraped the onions off of the scallop to the best part! In my amazement, the scallop was cooked spot on! The vegetables that came with this scallop platter were dry and extra salty as well! Oh my, I will drink plenty of water tonight!
