I like this place bc they allowed my baby dog! I can't go anywhere without him and I really appreciate that there are places that allow dogs! Best sushi I have ever had. At first I was a little worried because the prices were almost double per roll than I am used to. But the hubby and I were craving sushi so we were like let's just try it. We were not disappointed. We ordered garlic edamame, rainbow roll, Viking roll, honeymoon roll, miso baked lobster roll, oishi roll, eel, and blue fin tuna. It was honestly too much food! We were expecting regular sushi rolls but these rolls are loaded! My favorite was the oishi roll, it's topped with a generous portion of fresh and juicy tuna and salmon which is also inside the roll! Even though this roll looks decadent it's very balanced and refreshing in flavors. The blue fin tuna was like butter. It melted in my mouth it was so tender. Honestly I would go here just for that tuna. Each roll was different and tasty. Their fish is very fresh, it doesn't smell and almost pops in your mouth because of how fresh it is. Service was 10/10!! They cleared our plates as soon as they were empty, asked if we needed refills when cups were halfway, and checked on us at appropriate times. This was the second sushi restaurant my family tried out as a lunch spot on our way to San Diego. We've now been here 3 trips in a row; we really like it. The BBQ beef is very tender, the tempura is light and crispy, and the sashimi is excellent each time. We'll be back! read more

My husband and I had lunch here and it was pretty good. The service was great not slow at all and the servers were really attentive when we needed to ask something. The inside was very clean. We ordered a couple of dishes. The sashimi cut were huge which we were not use too. We received four cuts but were easily equal to 8 pieces. The edamame was very different as well as it was made in a sweet thai chilli sauce. The reason we gave it a 4 instead of a 5 was because of the price for what we ordered it came out to be 100 for two or us. Customer service was horrible. Felt rushed. Waitress kept interrupting me mid ordering when I had questions & said she would be back when I was ready. Rude to my grandmother that I have to translate for since she only speaks Spanish. This is what a sushi standard should be. The food - all rolls we ordered did not disappoint, presentation is nice, well-prepared and freshness is guaranteed. Each roll is perfect to our liking, not overloaded with rice unlike other places we've been to in the west coast. The taste is very very good. Try it yourself, we're are foodies and we travel anywhere there's good food bass on other reviews and we validate as such. Service - top notch. All servers are well-mannered, attentive and serves with finesse. It's like they are serving something they are really proud of. They are all smiling and poised. Anything you ask for, if they have it, you'll get it right away. Ambiance - The restaurant is nicely decorated, of course in Japanese theme. The only difference is when in Japan, there were no seats but a raised table while we sit or kneel on the floor. We ordered the Salmon Skin roll, Spider roll, Picasso roll, and one more roll I can't remember the name of. Everything came out great and was super tasty - my favorite was the Spider roll! I do not recommend this place if you don't want to ruin your evening!!! The service was awful!! The staff just walked by without taking our order! We had to wait about 20 minutes for someone to approach our table. It was even more frustrating that other customers who arrived at the same time or after us were served right away and received their orders. Our table was simply ignored, and the only question the staff member asked was, "Where are you from?" This was on a Monday, and the place wasn't busy at all! Now, about the food we received after 40 minutes! The rolls we got were not worth the price! There was little fish, and the rolls fell apart and looked nothing like the pictures on the menu! I know what I'm talking about--we came to this place specifically for delicious rolls because the first time we tried them at Hana Sushi in Murrieta, they were worth the money we paid! The huge plus there was the very friendly staff, who definitely left a great impression. We always appreciate tipping such people. But not this time!! We will forever love Sushi Mori in La Jolla, so since having moved to Temecula we have been to 5 sushi restaurants and only this one has brought us back 4 times. Quality, filling sushi rolls. Efficient and friendly staff. Food brought consistently in a reasonable order and time frame. Each roll matches their description and the prices on each roll are properly reflective of their quality and size. The overall price is a few dollars per item more than other places in Temecula, but it is worth it, again due to quality and quantity. The restaurant had been under renovation for a bit and the patio remodel is complete. It is one of the few post COVID outdoor remodels we have seen that doesn't make you feel like you are a fish in a fishbowl. The furniture doesn't look super comfortable, but we didn't try it. The bamboo and plants cover the space well. Overall a well deserved top rating. read more

What I got to eat: Yellowtail sashami with jalapeño and ponzu - this place added a lot of cilantro on it which I absolutely loved!!! Live shrimp - sashimi style and deep fried the head. I asked if I can get the head in miso soup but they said no. Sushi salmon- was pretty good Black snapper - I'm sure sure if I've tried the black snapper before but it was tasty. Similar to red snapper Uni - I got a big piece of it and it was delicious! Everything came in 2 pieces and I wanted to try more things so I asked if they can make 1 piece. Was visiting wineries in the area and decided to come here for a change of pace. From the moment we walked in we had good , and quick service. The servers have adorable uniforms and the place is really well decorated. My husband got a Salmon Teriyaki bento box, and i got Tamago sushi and a Golden Hana roll. All of the food was delicious however the shining star was the Spicy Garlics Edamame. The sauce is sweet with a kick of spice. Absolutely wonderful! The price is a bit on the higher end with one roll being $19.95. So for families who get more than one roll it can quickly add up. Overall, a great place for a special dinner. read more

100% GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. We came to this place after my dad's accident in a hurry and they were able to take us in. I am so thankful that they didn't refuse us service because my dad had to eat something as soon as possible for his health.
