Pretty solid! I got the hana bowl, the steak bowl, and the surf smth bowl (w scallops and shrimp). The hana bowl had pineapples which I wasn't the biggest fan of so I wish I had subbed that out. The steak was surprisingly tender and flavorful, I just wished there was more of it. It was cut super duper thin. The spring mix also wasn't my favorite because it was very spinach forward. I would have opted for more rice but also the hana rice wasn't that great. More mushy than what I was used to and didn't have any green tea extract or coconut taste which is fine. I think it would be great if the preset bowls had more sauces on them but you definitely can add other stuff to it as well. Workers were nice! I also tried the hana boba drink which had very little flavor but I'm a boba snob. I think the boba should have been soaked in some kind of brown sugar or syrup because it's super bland and the drink is pretty mild as well. The flan/custard in the drink is solid though. It is very clean inside and the perfect meal to bring to the beach. I will say I saw something about miso soup but it wasn't explained very well. The menu is also hard to read and a little overwhelming so I appreciate the preset bowls. read more

So I love a good poke bowl and this place did not disappoint. I forgot to take pics, sorry. I ordered the large bowl or 3/3. Three bases- rice, spring mix and spinach. 3 proteins - 2 salmon and 1 tofu. They have a wide offering of sauces both spicy and mild. I got one of each and a side of ponzu (I like it on the rice). Additionally I got a mango chili (spicy but so good), edamame, seaweed salad, avocado, red cabbage, carrots, maybe more. For crunchy I got sesame seeds and garlic. It was all fresh and fantastic! On vacation, we tried this place after seeing great reviews. I got really bad food poisoning shortly after. We contacted the place to make them aware, the owner or manager responded promptly and gave us a refund. Asked us if we needed any medical care. We thought that was very responsible. I had a poke bowl with shrimp and scallops. I am pretty sure it was the scallops. I'm really only giving this place 2 stars for the response from the restaurant. The workers are all friendly here and move at a quick pace. You can pick from the already currated poke bowls/sushi burritos/salads or build your own. Upon request, they will give you a free small miso soup with each bowl purchase. There are a variety of bases, fishes/proteins, and toppings to choose from including steak and tofu if you don't want fish. Surprisingly the steak (which is ribeye!) is very good! Unfortunately, the fish quality is on the lower end and not very fresh. This is the main reason for my three star rating. I've come twice and the fish leaves something to be desired. The regular milk tea here is pretty good but the matcha one I had was very grainy. Okay but not exciting. Overall, this is a decent poke spot with a good variety to choose from. read more

I've had many poke places before all over the states. But this one has to be one of the best ones I've been to! Parking is vast since it is in a shopping center and the place is easy to find. Once arrived we were quickly greeted and the business was clean. The menu was behind the line and was easy to read and described what the process was for anyone who was new to poke. I ended up getting the regular bowl with two proteins. They have numerous options and the food is so fresh? The food was so delicious and the price was reasonable! Great customer service throughout my process of building my poke bowl here! I asked the friendly staff member about Hana rice which apparently has coconut milk and matcha? She gave me a sample, which was great in their end! I personally only tasted a little bit of coconut, and nothing else. I probably will get brown rice and greens which is my usual at every poke place, but this time, I changed it up and got half Hana rice and half kale noodles which turned out a lot more yummy than I expected! All toppings don't cost extra unless you ask for another scoop of it, so for example, you can get avocado but if you want extra, it'll cost you an extra $1. Your bowl also comes with a free miso soup! I felt like the portion is also great for the price and hope that they don't change this ever!! (Lol despite inflation) I appreciated my server's service and the variety of toppings! Everything tasted fresh and loveee the sauce options! They allow you to get as many as you'd like and can offer samples. Sesame dressing, sriracha aioli and wasabi aioli were all great! I'm not even a fan of wasabi, but the aioli was tasty! I opted to get my sauces on the side so I could try them. Next time, I'll definitely try the other sauces and their drinks! read more

Better than Hawaii Poke. More flavor, not fishy, better ambience. Price is very comparable if not the same. They have Milk Tea as well. For mainland poke I'd give it 4/5 (3/5 compared to authentic Hawaiian poke). Cons (reason for 4/5 stars) I got 2 scoops of crab salad and apparently they charge $1 for each of extra scoop. They are the smallest scoops and the portion of crab salad you get is the smallest quantity compared to any other poke place I have ever eaten at. Service is minimal. Scoop your bowl and on with your way. Not bad but nothing to write home about. Overall it was good and I would come back. read more

Lots of variety and since I don't like rice I specifically liked the kale noodles! I also liked the shrimp and crab meat it didn't have a gross fishy taste. The service was very good. Excellent lunches. We had large California and an Ocean Poke bowls. We tried the sushi and Hana rice with lettuce spinach. The Cali comes with salmon while the Ocean comes with shrimp, scallops and squid. The service is very fast and friendly. Kind of bland decor and seating but clean. With Hana coconut rice, my Hana wave was more of a salad than a rice bowl, so I'd probably pick two rices next time. The raw fish is either salmon or ahi tuna with a spicy option. I was impressed that I could have seaweed salad, edamame and pickled radish, along with furikake and ponzu to make it more Japanese. There are also chicken and steak options for land lubbers, with various spicy seasonings. The choices can be overwhelming, but the friendly, quick and professional staff literally walked me through everything, so, of course, it turned out delicious! This place is as good as I remembered it. For poke, I feel like this place is relatively cheap and gives LARGE portions. They don't skimp. I love that avocado / crab salad is not an upcharge (For the first scoops) unlike everywhere else. Proteins are solid. Sauces are good - I like sriracha aioli. I couldn't finish the regular size (2 protein) and ate it over 2 meals. For reference, at Pokeworks, etc, I can finish the bowl in one sitting typically. Having boba is awesome as well. I remember liking the one with mango previously. I tried the regular milk tea this time which had good flavor - the boba pearl quality is not bad but not amazing but the price pretty cheap. This place is heaven. Hands down, the best food I had the entire time I was in Corpus! The ingredients are fresh and flavorful. The inside of the restaurant is modern and clean. I walked in and had never been to this poke bar before. The menu was large and clear enough for anyone to read. You can make your own bowl or choose a bowl off their menu (and even make adjustments to them). You can pick all the extras at the end. The staff was incredibly friendly and personable, willing to walk me through all of it. They even held out on the sauce and put it in a small container so I could add it once I got to my hotel. Then I see on the menu they have boba. Hold. The. Press. Their boba tea was delicious perfection. I somehow downed the entire thing before I could make it the 15 minutes back to my hotel. If you haven't tried this place, you are sorely missing out on the best gem for food Corpus has. So many places that serve raw seafood can be lackluster, but not this place.
