Waffle cones are tasty and crunchy here - the scoops are big!! Waffle, regular or bowl

Ice Cream makes everything better... AND great ice cream makes everything greater... Unique flavors. Started in 1945! Many Fans of this ice cream. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ah, this place is wonderful, I've included several pictures but you should probably DROP EVERYTHING and go pick a flavor and enjoy![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] BTW- my ice cream did NOT fall on the floor, I will be more diligent next time. Haha! Happy people serve you and happy people eat ice cream here... really FANTASTIC!

    Look at those options!

We all need more ice cream. It's a proven cure for whatever ails you. At the recommendation of another yelper, we tried Handel's as a family and we love it! There are so many flavors and that it seemed a little overwhelming at first, but the young man who helped take our order was kind enough to help us out. He told us how they make their ice cream and steered us towards a couple of his favorites and their most popular flavors. There are so many different things to try you can go back over and over and over (which we already have) and have a different experience every time. Go and try Handel's!

First time ever experiencing Handel's ice cream - ever! Came here tonight with the familia with the expectation of being impressed, and boy let me tell you, we were NOT disappointed! Hubby got the Tin Lizzy, with real bits of toffee so if you're a toffee lover, this is a must flavor to try. We also tried the French Silk Pie, which was really tasty and a definite flavor for chocolate lovers. I couldn't resist having their Coffee Chocolate Chip. It was instant CRUSH at first bite! Their regular strawberry was alright but had to get for the little girl who liked simple flavors. The place was clean and very inviting. The staff was super friendly, accommodating, and were eager to help us and let us try any flavor we wanted (as many times we asked) which we really appreciated! All in all, it was a very pleasant first time experience and we will definitely be returning to this location again. A sure treat in Utah County!

Their ice cream is so creamy and delicious! I chose their Graham Central Station and it was filled with so much flavor & crunch, it was delicious!! I will definitely be coming here again!

This place has been around since 1945?!! Where have I been? I became an instant fan of the banana cream pie! Be warned though - a small is NOT small. It's massive! I think I just consumed 3000 calories. And I don't even feel a tinge of guilt.

Sweet, sweet ice cream dreams come true here people. I am astounded at just how many *good* flavors there are here! They have a huge variety that would please any pallet and all the options are down right delicious. Priced a little higher than average, the ice cream you'll find here is far above average in quality, texture and flavor. PLUS they give your little ones a free baby cone with sprinkles that is just perfect for their tiny little hands and appetites. My personal favorite flavor is monkey business followed by, in no particular order, black raspberry chocolate chunk, caramel apple, oreedough, blue monster, French silk pie, graham central station, and orange creamsicle. There are seasonal flavors too, so even if you think you've tried them all, (which you totally haven't) there's always something different on the menu! Everyone who works here has always been very kind and they get us served very quickly. The only thing I wish they had was tables so I could sit my family down inside to enjoy our treats. 10/10 would recommend Handles to anyone and 10/10 will have to go back immediately after posting this review.

Cinnamon Graham Ripple and Banana Cream Pie Double

Some of the best ice cream in the valley. Best flavors: Blueberry cobbler, Banana cream pie, Chocoholic Chunk, Monkey Business, and Cinnamon Graham Cracker. I come back often just to pick up a pint or quart for later. Their prices are pretty good compared to the other local ice cream parlors with similar ice cream quality -- $6 for a pint, $9 for a quart. NOTE: Come back every Holiday or Season change to try their seasonal flavors! Midnight Madness was equally fantastic as well as their Peppermint Bark and White Christmas.

What are you doing with that Baskin Robbins cone? *smacks cone out of your hand, straight to the floor, into a melty puddle of sadness* What you need is a nice portion of ice cream with great flavor, amazing consistency, and without having to pay a pretty penny. Their motto is "We never skimp". And skimp they do not (whether that be quantity or quality). The small single flavors are actually 2.5 scoops, double flavors are 3.5 scoops. My wife and I shared Oree Dough and the Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie, both of which were delicious and highly recommended. And because NOBODY wants to lose any of that deliciousness to the floor, we were given a cup/lid to ensure that we could enjoy all of our Handel's Homemade ice cream as we ate it under the sun. The one thing I was a little cautious about was the fact that none of the employees were wearing gloves while serving the ice cream. Regardless of the current COVID climate, I think it's just good practice to serve ice cream with gloves.

Handle's has become one of my top ice cream vendors. I love the enormous variety of flavors offered - with a number of them rotating. It makes me feel like I'm always able to get exactly what I want on any given day even if I land on my standard favorites most of the time. Their ice cream always hits the right notes on creaminess AND flavor (full-bodied and well-balanced flavors). During my most recent trip I discovered you can order a sampler - not on the menu, but where they'll throw any flour flavors of your choosing into a small serving tray. When it's so difficult to narrow down from the myriad of possibilities, this was the perfect indulgent option, even though I didn't make it all the way through the frozen feast!

First words out of my 15 yo daughters mouth when we walked outside, "I liked her!" Chloe was fabulous! So friendly and accommodating! Second thing out of my daughters mouth, "This has the perfect texture!" Third thing, "Best ice cream ever!" Well, I think you all have done it! Huge variety! We chose mint Oreo, butter pecan, and strawberry but I honestly wanted to try some of each. Loved the 'Top 10 flavors' board. I'm sure that's a question they get a lot! I was delivering some to my son and husband so I was so thankful that they had lids! Just a great experience all around! I guess we have found our new ice cream place!

An interesting concept that works. 3.8 stars, is that a thing? LOL…read more This location is pretty cool. Nice layout and the ambiance is relaxed and chill. (Gotta use "chill" and "cool" when talking about an ice cream place, right?) Just by the entrance and under the stair case is a comfy cubby with two or three high rise tables and chairs. A cozy place to eat your ice cream with a nice window view of the entryway and the street. Then there is the upstairs. You go up a long spiral staircase (there's a landing halfway up) to go to the upper room. Pretty cool. Good view of the Provo Temple across the street. Fun place to eat your ice cream. The employee was not only friendly but you could tell she enjoyed her job. She had fun every time she had to make the ice cream. She told you all about it, too. So on the to ice cream. I had a mix in from the menu, Key Lime pie. Lime-flavored ice cream with bits of cheesecake and something else. It was OK, but I bordered on not liking it. It didn't remind of Key lime pie. But the texture was dense. That's what they are proud of. This process does not stir air into the mixture so it is much more dense than regular ice cream. And not only that, you get a lot of it. The small size cup is really huge! I'm not a fan of the texture. I like a good creamy, smooth ice cream. And while it makes you feel like you are getting more for your money, while not bad, the experience is not a good as a creamy ice cream or gelato. It's ice cream. And it's dense. Very dense. Still Ice cream, though, but very dense. It's not bad. Just not my jam. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

I thought it was also nice that they had dietary restriction friendly options for those who are keto, gluten free, or vegan. I actually ended up trying one of the sugar free options because the flavors sounded really yummy! I wasn't in the mood for a heavy loaded up cup, but those looked incredible too. I stopped by on a late Saturday afternoon and the space was pretty quiet and chill. The staff members were so incredibly kind and helpful when I was making my decision. They also made it really easy to transport back home. I ended up going with the sugar free butter toffee. This was the first time I've seen sf options at an ice cream shop and unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations. For the most part my experience with sugar free options has been great, but this was completely devoid of any flavor. I'm almost wondering if the sf flavors are a gimmick to make you feel like you're choosing, when in actuality they just whip up cold milk. Part of the experience is they make the ice cream in front of you, but aside from adding a little stevia I'm not sure what all went into my ice cream. When I got home and tried a scoop it just tasted like whole milk. I was super disappointed because I got a large! I'm torn between giving the sf option another shot or just writing it off forever. It was my first time trying Sub Zero, so I'm sad this was my first impression. Besides the flavorless taste, the texture is fun and almost reminds me a little of dippin dots. Overall, torn on my decision to try this place again or not. There's so many good dessert options around, so I guess we'll see. I still think it's a place you should try at least once, but order the sf options at your own risk!

The Strawberries and Cream and Rockwell Road were good, but the Biscoffi was phenomenal. If you love biscoff cookies this is the icecream for you! The Rockwell Road was not as interesting as the menu made it seem. It tasted like rich dark chocolate icecream, but still solid nevertheless. I was afraid it might've been three heavy choices, but they were all delicious. The only downside is that I hate how they pile one flavor on top of the next, so you have to work through one layer/flavor before getting to the next. They carefully fill your cone with the swirl and a little topping on the bottom, fill half the cone with soft serve and top it, then do the top and add toppings and drizzle it.
