The job was almost $3,000 expensive for that small project and we were unsatisfied. He did not meet our expectations. I told him there was hair in the closet door where he had just painted and his response was, "let it dry and then pull it out". That was an unprofessional response and who paints over a hair? There was more hair I noticed around the baseboard that was dried in the paint already. He advertises that he can fix anything but the few fixers that we allowed him to do (big mistake), he made it worse than it was. He did not use plastic to cover floors and left paint flakes in all the rooms, and it smeared to our hallways as he's spreading it all around when he walks. I had to be behind him to make corrections throughout the whole time he worked. I was done at the end. It took them almost 5 weeks to complete this small task when he advertised that it would take him 2-4 days per room (there were only 3 rooms). I will not recommend this company, and it was a poor-quality results.

Have used Jose over the past few years for variety of projects. Most recently, had an interesting problem with something (either skunk or opossum) digging UNDER our storage shed. He looked at where this critter was digging and came up with an effective plan to stop it from digging holes under our foundation (wood). Ended up placing pavers around the vulnerable areas of the shed, then, cementing the pavers together so it couldn't dig them out or move out of the way. Not only has this prevented any more digging, but most importantly, it prevented what happened about a year ago when a baby opossum died under the shed and we had to hire an animal extraction service to locate and remove the dead opossum.. which was giving off a foul smell. The sealing off of the base of the shed also now makes it easier to walk around this shed, makes it easier to clean, and has prevented any animal from digging and crawling under this wooden shed (and dying there as well. Had these guys come in and do my crown molding and many other projects on hand, but had to literally fire them from my house because of their lack of professionalism and simply put carelessness. Being that is a brand new house, didn't bother do be careful when installing the crown molding and leaving fingerprints on both the walls and ceilings, paint stains on the stairs(which happen to be the only area in the house with it), pretty bad cuts and crappy installation(see pictures for yourself) in several areas. Guys were nice through the install but took advantage as well, they'd go from installing the crown on certain sections and skipping others, to painting and ultimately failing to install some ceiling fans. For the fans, they came with what you would call a remote that controlled two lights and a fan separately, he wanted to simply skip it all together and combine them into one etc. Paid the guy $6700, guy had agreed to do it for $5000 and kept all of it not to mention he failed to bring me the missing material to have someone else finish the job he couldn't manage to do. Would never, ever recommend this guy. I'm actually afraid of leaving this review because him and his gangster brother know where I live and might come and beat me up. Shitty job all together, seriously but not nearly as bad as their attitude.

We moved into a new three bedroom condo that had separation in laminate flooring due to uneven…read moreconcrete underlayment in the entire condo. The flooring in some areas were sinking into the baseboards. In addition, the shower dam was not installed correctly, dishwasher leak due to hole in drain hose among other issues. We hired Happy Home Construction to install new waterproof flooring and carpet and correct other construction issues. We had to remove all contents in the condo after five months of moving in to do this complete renovation. It was a stressful and time consuming process and Happy Home crew was a tremendous help in making the process a smooth transaction. His proposal included removal of all furniture and personal items to storage and they brought all the items back into the condo once the work was complete. This had saved me the time to hire another moving company to do this. In addition, all major appliances (stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer/dryer) had to be removed and reinstalled back and it was included in the proposal. The shower dam that was repaired by another vendor left the job without finishing the complete work. Happy Home assisted with unfinished by re-installing the shower doors back on the dam. We had to stay at a hotel a week while this work was being done. While we were away, Tony would text pictures of each work progress to show me the work being done and completion of each step. There were 50 bags of cement poured on the floor to level the ground and every step a picture was taken to show this work. He also installed an extra carpet underlayment that had an extra plastic barrier to prevent water condensation seeping from the cement to the carpet. This year my Dad's Alhambra condo needed a one bedroom and entryway flooring and carpet replacement and I contacted Happy Home again to do this work. He suggested waterproof flooring as it was a not a significant pricing difference and would save me the expense of future annual carpet cleaning. Therefore, we decided to proceed with the waterproof flooring install. The work took only one day and it looked spectacular. Would definitely hire Tony and his crew for future projects. When he takes a job, he makes a responsible commitment to make sure the work is completed properly as he cares about repeat clientele and referrals.

Or originally, needing a key to enter the restroom? He said, no problem, I will change them, again! After being behind schedule, he said it was my fault. Concerns: language/understanding quality/finishing touches basic understanding/clarification of topics rude/mean/threatening late to arrive/early to leave Still not finished, and I had to tell them, you are not allowed back in my home. This is only one example, but there were several. This will go further than a review, as a complaint will be filed. Update: after my review was posted, he quickly threatened me by text! I just can't believe this business. Another reviewer contacted me and stated that Remmi threatened her as well, and had also been unprofessional. He threatened to call my employer and tell them on me. What? He stated he would tell them I was drunk all the time. (I painted the outside of my own home, in 90-95 degree temps, on the roof of a 2-story home, at the same time they painted in air conditioning).
