I really wish Yelp would allow a negative star review because this is a time I would happily give one. We ordered our food at the counter, gave a tip in hope for good service, and received everything but. It was almost $50 for a hamburger and 3 tacos... almost an hour later with no food so I went back to the counter to ask the status. Lost. They lost the order. We talked to a guy behind the counter who was extremely RUDE. After not being able to find our order, he asked me to repeat it and wanted us to wait longer as he typed it back into the computer. I asked after this long of a wait if he could just comp the high priced missing food. He didn't like that and his attitude showed it. My girlfriend said to me "do you want to just go" and his retort was "do you want your food or not" to her. Rude. The one saving grace is the food was comp'd begrudgingly. Thank you for that. But when you charge people almost $50 for 3 tacos and a hamburger and lose their order, then treat them so condescendingly rude, do you really expect people to come back? We won't be. I get it, you're busy. But at least learn how to have customer service and not a bad attitude if you can't keep track of orders. read more

For some reason they stopped food service last night in the middle of dinner & the cashiers didn't handle it very well, at all. They wouldn't even take food orders & people were hungry & had waited in line! No explanation then someone said there was a gas leak?!?! Whaaaaat?!? That's serious should have been handled properly!! Cool vibe with lots of outdoor seating and activity setups and amazing service definitely stands out but the confusing location, complicated parking, food that are nothing excited about and not a lot of non-alcohol beverage options are pretty disappointing. I understand this is a brewery but you would think they would have unique non-alcohol drinks to follow the hip environment, which it is not even close. Ordering Crispy Pork Belly was another miss. For some reason, I could tell that it would be really sweet so I added rice and sure enough it was inedible. It was $15 per bowl so I forced myself to finish it. I had a coworker who had the sauce on the side and I regretted that I didn't do that. Other coworkers mentioned that their flat breads and Carne Asada Fries were good and offered me to try. It was ok but not great. I would say it is an unique place to hang out but I wouldn't come back especially with crowds plus everything above that I mentioned. read more

This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. We waited 57 minutes for our food, only to give up and leave. The entire restaurant was a disaster--tables piled with dirty dishes, sticky surfaces, and not a single busser in sight. We sat for 15 min before realizing no one was coming to clean up. If you have hungry kids, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The bathrooms were out of soap. The two large drinking water dispensers barely trickled. After waiting so long, we finally gave up and drove to McDonald's. Even after leaving, driving taway, and eating elsewhere our food still wasn't ready at this place. I can only assume they source their beef by waiting for cows to die of old age. It's as if they're running with a skeleton crew--one cook and a bartender who also serves, buses, and probably washes the dishes. I hosted a party here and I cannot recommend this place enough! Shannon was fantastic, helping to address my (millions) of questions leading up to the event. Nikki was awesome walking us there the location scout, and even swung by to say hi during the party! Hayden was a dream, helping with general things Im pretty sure were above what he normally does. There is no women's bathroom. It is a "mixed gender" bathroom. It felt very unsafe as a woman to walk into a bathroom full of men. I hope more people speak up about this and Hangar 24 creates a safe women-only bathroom. read more

Parking tickets are validated at the Brewery so parking is free! This brewery sits between work complex which I was honestly confused and was concerned about parking fee but they validate so it was nice to not have to worry about parking. You order inside the food and beer first and they give you a buzzer to buzz you once your food is ready. Seating is outdoor and indoor but mainly outdoors. There are live music, pin pong table, and games you can play. I think it's a perfect place to have group gatherings. The only downside is seating is first come first serve so you just gotta find the tables/seatings for yourselves as there aren't servers to help you get seated. The beer was good but not great. Definitely had better draft beers elsewhere but the food was actually really good! The pizza was sooo delicious and I loved how thin the crust and how cheese and saucey the pizza was. The beers and food probably costed less than $45 for 2 ppl so I think it was pretty worth it. read more

The hangar is a spacious place that I'd recommend to others who want some finger foods over a great selection of IPAs. The space is huge and has both outdoor and indoor seating. Don't be frightened by the parking fee, you can get it validated after your meal! Sadly I wasn't a big fan of the food but it's all because I was here for a corporate event. They had mini portions from their menu options, so I was able to sample a few but didn't think anything stoodout. I don't believe this is the best representation of hangar as a whole so I would be open to coming again. read more

Love this place! Great food and plenty of space indoor or outdoor -- whether you want to work on your laptop (because it is quiet enough with a few outlets) or hang out with your group or friends. Activities include basketball, cornhole, connect four, ping pong, and cup pong! Food is delicious ranging from appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, and flatbreads. I came to hangar 24 on a sunny Sunday. It has a great ambience and plenty of greenery for kids to run around. It seems more like a family/friendly spot. Plenty of kids but still enjoyable for those that don't have kids. The service was OK. You order from the bar or inside the restaurant and then find a location to eat/drink. Hangar 24 in Irvine is such a great spot. The atmosphere is super chill and a fun place to hang out with friends. What made my visit even better was Gill. She was really friendly, helpful, and knew a lot about the beers. She recommended a couple that ended up being exactly what I wanted. You can tell she cares about making sure customers enjoy themselves. If you come here, I definitely recommend asking Gill for help. We were excited to dine here and got a table on the patio with our group--four adults and four kids under two. As expected with little ones, they started getting restless, so we went to order food. That's when we were told there was a 1 hour and 15-minute wait for all food. Given the circumstances, we decided to only order drinks and opted for Uber Eats to make sure the kids were fed. As soon as the food arrived, staff immediately approached us and said, "Pack up your stuff and leave, no outside food allowed." There was no grace, no understanding--just a firm demand to leave. We quickly packed up and moved to a nearby grass area, only to be followed by staff and told once again that outside food or drinks weren't allowed anywhere on the property. Meanwhile, plenty of others had snacks for their children, yet we were singled out. When the manager came out, we expected at least some understanding, but instead, we were met with attitude and zero consideration for our situation. We completely understand that outside food isn't allowed, but had the restaurant been able to serve food in a reasonable time, we wouldn't have had to make other arrangements. A little grace and kindness go a long way--especially when dealing with families with small children. For a place that claims to be kid-friendly, this experience was incredibly disappointing. Such a unique place. Your first time driving here is confusing though because you drive through a gate and grab a ticket that the brewery will validate for you. Plenty of parking. On my way out though, the machine didn't even take my ticket and the gate just opened for me to exit. No complaints there. It's tucked away in office buildings and the brewery is basically an entire courtyard. It's huge! It's very family friendly; there were lots of families with small children running around. Limited seating indoors and plenty of seating outdoors with some fire pits/heat lamps. There's live music, a chicken coop, and a bar and restroom outside. Plenty of good alcohol options. The food is like elevated bar food; the Cajun fries were amazing! Prices are fair. The food pick-up system is different. You provide your name and phone number and receive a text when your food is ready for pickup at a tent/table area off to the side. Staff were friendly and walked around clearing tables. Honestly one of the better brewery spots in the OC area. It's very spacious, good drink options and the food is pretty solid. The outdoor is great for large groups and families with kids. It really caters to all occasions. It's always a safe option for us when planning get togethers with friends. What's nice is the environment is never rowdy. The staff are helpful and there are a few spots to get drinks and food, inside their main indoor area as well as outside. Some nights they have live music outside with corn hole set ups too!
