It was ok, I definitely plan to come back and try again - happy hour and lunch options seem good. The space is really nice, just as it was when it was Romano's. We really wanted to sit outside but it was super chilly and only one heater was out/on (there were a lot off and gathered in a far corner) - weird for peak dinnertime. So we sat inside next to the couch area because trivia was happening in the long section. Waitresses were nice, a bit inexperienced maybe (young) but very responsive to requests for the basics (napkins, silverware, etc.). I had the buffalo chicken flatbread, he got a burger, beers, and a few apps to share. Pretzels w/ cheese sauce were a fav, and the fries. The rest of the food was ok, but kind of cold by the time we got it - maybe because it got busy right around then, kind of bland too and needed like ranch or salt or chili flakes. Again, it was decent, and I'd like to try again as they have a lot of options on the menu and the beer selection seems good. read more

I looked at the beer menu, and was intrigued by the lower ABV versions of some of their beers. The young man at the counter said "they didn't deliver those kegs". They had an assortment of other beers on a board, but the guy seemed a little surprised that I might ask about any of them. I asked him about the Alt-bier; "it's brown", says he. Remember, this is not a restaurant that serves beer; this is a "brewery", and these are their beers...that THEY BREW! I tried it, and it was kind of odd. I've had this style before, and it had the requisite bitterness, but this one just tasted a little flat and dishwater-y. The carne asada fries were a might wee, but tasty, and with nice presentation. The one thing that might get me to return is the patio space, where I noticed several people with their dogs. That's nice for me, but I will feel bad - the other dogs seem to get a little downhearted when the meet DJ Super Douglas, and realize that they will never be goodest. read more

WAY overpriced, not a good value. Tried for first time. Bad experience began on arrival when we just stood at the entrance, no one from staff speaks first, had to ask if it was seat yourself or??? Waitress outside kind of warned us the ordering system was new, a QR code driven menu. However, the system really needs work. If a sandwich comes with mushrooms and onions, you better like those because there's no way to leave them off. The only other option to order food is to wait in line inside, but I would recommend that if you dare to try this place, because otherwise you cannot customize anything with their absurd ordering system. The beer was very expensive. My flatbread pizza did not have much meat at all. My wife did like the hamburger salad, however, the overall price for the two entrées and one order of fried pickles and two drinks was nearly $100. Not worth it at all based on the incredibly poor service we received and the lack of value in the food. It was so bad that I'm not sure I would ever even try it again. read more

Service: there isn't much interaction with staff unless you are ordering or getting food dropped off. Think of this more like a self service fast food establishment. Cool pit stop in a cute and quaint shopping center. Totally kid friendly. We could grab a bite and adult beverage all while the kids could get a bite and play games . Kids had cheese flatbread and chicken fingers with a side of fries and Honest Apple Juice. Absolute home run with the kids Adults enjoyed a La Fresita tequila cocktail and Adventura beer . Happy people all around. Everything is self service but they're kind and approachable at the counter. I will start with the good. Beer is always on point. Red Zeppelin was my go too but today they were out. My husband had the amber, in which he liked. Beer cheese is good with a hint of spice. We asked for corn hole to be brought out but they said it was broken. Henry came through and found a board that was not broken, brought us the bean bags, thanks Henry for going the extra. Enjoying our drinks and the game for a total of 15 minutes until a child walked by with her grandmother, said nothing to us, just allowed her granddaughter to lay on boards and take the bean bags. We have grandchildren of our own and would never allow them to do anything like that, also would ask first, let them throw a few times and move on.... this did not happen as she allowed her granddaughter to continue to take all bags. We ended up walking away. Came in to play shuffle board and same thing. Kids on table and blocks strung everywhere. If you come here to enjoy a day drinking date , think twice as all games are subject to children first. Another couple walked in and said, we will come back another day. Again, we understand what it's like having children and grandchildren. At least have some common courtesy and realize that other people were actually playing the game. We came on a Sunday and were greeted with some fun piano players. I over heard a guy ask them about the football game that was playing outside. He asked them to play it on the screen. They asked the piano players to end early to let people watch the game on the screen. It was not cool. I didn't come here for football and it was already playing outside. You can't please everyone but don't ask people to leave when the audience is participating and enjoying the already booked entertainment. Not cool. Hangar 24, in Riverside?! Yes, indeed! If you're familiar with the Hangar 24 in Redlands, this new Hangar 24 Riverside provides the same chill atmosphere with great music, lively ambiance, and happy patrons having a great time. This new location is at the center of Canyon Crest Town Center. It's excellent for groups and they have both "indoor" and outdoor seating, from small tables for couples to communal tables for larger groups. They also have patio dining with misters. I love the added white patio shades. The interior is a brightly lit space - a contrast to the former Romano's restaurant and concert lounge that used to occupy this space. They have a sizable menu of food and drinks, including their proprietary beer like Orange Wheat and Double Betty IPA. Food and drink orders are placed at the front counter/bar, then a numbered table sign will be given to place at any table you choose, and your order will be delivered to your table. We ordered a few things from their menu: * Carne Asada Tacos - This was good for sharing as it also came with a side of tortilla chips. The meat was terribly dry and the flour tortilla was almost like a thin cracker. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of the red salsa. I did, however, enjoy the pickled red onions and avocado salsa. There's definitely potential to improve the tacos. * Tempura Cauliflower with Cajun Garlic Aioli - This was our favorite. A perfect light batter where the cauliflower stands out more than the tempura. Good in its own but great with the aioli. * Crispy Pork Belly with H24 BBQ Sauce - This was a second favorite. I also wouldn't call it crispy as it was heavily drenched with the sauce but I still liked the soft texture. If I could make a suggestion, I would cut the cubes slightly bigger instead of small pieces (left at the same weight) and either lightly dress it or offer the sauce on the side. * Mini-Boss Pepperoni Flatbread with French Fries - This was for one of the kids and it included a drink. The flatbread had an unexpected flavor but the French fries were really good. The servers were busy given it's still the first week of opening but they were all friendly, and they quickly cleared our tables. Overall, we had a great first impression of Hangar 24 - Riverside. With the stage still in tact, I'm looking forward to hearing live music here while having a great time with friends - and enjoying it with some tempura cauliflower! Yum! The one thing I liked about this place was the wait staff. All very kind. We went on a Wednesday night and it was PACKED! The live music was good. But the food was meh. The fries and chips my friends had were soggy. I have celiac and they did not have any options except a lettuce wrapped burger. I'm used to that but they got my order wrong. I had to send it back cuz it came with fries and when I say I cannot eat wheat I mean it. The fries are fried in a shared fryer. How hard is it to have a fryer just for potato items? Potatoes don't have gluten unless they are contaminated by breaded products. It's upsetting. Nice to have a place to go. But we won't return. read more

Came here on a Friday around 6 pm and though the line seemed long, it only took about 10 mins to order. There is an order line and then open seating. It was pretty busy but it didn't take long for a table to become available and there was some seating area on the side with corn hole. The beer selection was great. They have their Orange Wheat beer and other classics but also a healthy selection of lagers and others. I recommend the Alt Bier. Food was surprisingly awesome. We had the pretzel bites and cheese sauce which were simply addicting. The best were the corn dogs which are bacon wrapped and we're literally the best corn dogs I've had. The jalapeno was a plus. The Philly Cheese steak was very good as well. The kids chicken strips are also pretty large. Can't wait to come back and try other items. read more

This place really has gone downhill since it's opened. My husband and I were so excited to have a nice brewery to hang at, live music and good food but the last few times it's been terrible. A great addition to Riverside! We were excited to visit on opening day. Lots of people, great music and of course lots of tasty beer to choose from. The menu is quite large with a lot of variety of food. The service was fairly quick which I was surprised about because of how packed the place was. We just had a beer and pretzel bites, but will be back for lunch or dinner soon. The order of pretzels bites was quite large and the cheese sauce was tasty. I have came here a few times to catch Dodger games. The service is good and the food and drinks are better. Very cool atmosphere. My only complaint would be with the TVs outside on the patio. Not 5 stars because this was the only place that held our cards to keep a tab open and several of us got mysterious charges the next day... unprofessional and sad to be taken advantage of like that.
