This place is absolutely delicious. The food was extremely flavorful and the menu was excellent. Perfect kimchi flavor. Beautifully decorated and spacious inside. The staff were friendly and helpful. If you are looking for good Korean and Chinese food this place is the spot. I will be back!

I wish I had known of this place sooner! My bf and I stopped in here for date night. The restaurant is super tidy and the staff greeted us right away. I ordered the chicken lo mein and my boyfriend ordered the General Tso's chicken. Our food came out really fast and everything was very flavorful. The general tso had a nice crunch to it and all the veggies were very fresh. I can't wait to come back to try more of the menu.

Very clean and welcoming ambiance. Waitresses were friendly and welcoming. We ordered the kids chicken sweet and sour, beef bulgogi with steamed rice, Mongolian beef, crab angle and hot pot stickers. The kids chicken sweet & sour was a decent portion size. Little one was happy he had enough dipping sauce for all his chicken pieces. Beef bulgogi with steamed rice was pretty good, 3/5. It was a bit watery but the taste didn't really taste like a bulgogi. No spice but it was still good. Mongolian beef was 5/5. Definitely would reorder again next time. It was very flavorful and sweet. It reminded us of the Filipino meat Tocino. Fried rice - 2/5 - I ordered the Mongolian beef dish with fried rice and we did not like the taste of the fried rice. It was plain rice with a brown sauce and not sure if it was just soy sauce, but it tasted different and has an after taste that was a bit off for both myself and son. He didn't touch the rice after a few tries either. This is the first time I've ever ordered fried rice at Asian restaurant that did not come with any egg or veggies, so that was interesting. Would not order fried rice here if we return. Appetizers were good. Really liked the crab angle. Midway we ordered a jasmine tea and it was very disappointing that our water was only warm and not hot at all. On the positive side, my son got to try tea for the first time since that's how Luke warm the water was. Overall dishes are well priced and would consider returning to Hanmi to try their other dishes.

This is a Korean-style Chinese restaurant, which I didn't expect to find here in ABQ. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food served here at Hanmi. It's a quaint restaurant near Uptown, and despite their size, they set a high standard for Korean food here in ABQ. We ordered jajangmyun, which was impressive. It tasted freshly-made, unlike the many synthetic-tasting versions I've had in countless other Korean restaurants. This is one of the best. Mongolian beef was juicy and moist. King pao chicken didn't disappoint either. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for good Asian food in ABQ. I would come back again.

Generous serving of Mongolian Beef with Hot & Sour Soup and an egg roll...An amazing lunch! :)

I'm thankful that Hanmi is a short walk from my home!! Their lunch specials are AMAZING....many options; huge portions; tasty hot and sour soup; friendly, efficient servers; and a relaxed, mellow vibe....Hanmi is a great place to get a good meal and to relax with friends. Thanks for sharing your lovingly prepared food in my 'hood, Hanmi!!

I ordered takeout from Hanmi a few weeks ago and would definitely recommend them. I was craving some sweet & sour chicken and I decided to check out Hanmi as they are super close to my house and so I called in my order. They were super fast and the portions are large. It was a little more expensive than I would have expected but everything is. It was also a large portion and served multiple people. I think my only thing is going back I would try a different dish. Particularly would like to try some of the Korean dishes instead of the sweet & sour chicken. Service was friendly and fast, parking easy.

Korean-Chinese-Asian Fusion, sounds interesting and worth a try. So a trip to East Albuquerque is in order. Small place and busy - About 11 tables all but 2 occupied. Drink orders taken and delivered quickly. Menu had most of the fare you'd expect with a couple of surprises. One being the Braised Abalone, missing the abalone I used to collect many years ago this was an easy choice. A Mongolian Beef lunch plate rounded out our meal choices adding Pot Stickers as an appetizer. The Analone was excellent, chewy as expected but tender. The sauce & Bok Choi added to the flavor. The Mongolian beef was also tender, nicely spiced and loaded with onions. The House Pot Stickers were extremely flavorful and could stand on their own without the dipping sauce. The Thai Tea was creamy & rich. Our dinner was filling but we weren't overly full. A perfect amount. This was a great stop and meal. We look forward to a return trip. It may not look like much on the outside but...

Definitely try this place! I've ordered from here a handful of times and they always leave me satisfied. Yesterday I ordered my favorite Fried Chicken with chili sauce (which tastes like a cross between General Tso and Sweet and Sour chicken in that it's sweet, spicy, and has a little sour tang) and tried something new, the Mongolian Beef, which is now tied for favorite! The beef could use a little less onion, sure, but the flavor is on point! Salty, savory, and little sweet! I also got a side of rice for $1 and it's a whole large styrofoam full, probably like 4 cups! Anytime I want to treat myself, I'm ordering from Hanmi!

And sometimes when there's limited choice here I'll make do with what is available. Fortunately this place is great. You can order a single broth or a split pot. I usually go with the taiwan spicyy broth and one of the others. It's always good, regardless of what ingredients you order they'll pile the plate high. They offer tons of condiments and ice cream for desert. I've also ordered this as delivery which I thought was impossible. But they make it work. You order your broth (single flavor uless you get two orders of broth). You also order your ingredients and whatevder sides you want. I usually get beef, pork and meatballs. Rather than cooking yourself they come cooked in a container with a little brother and you add them at your leisure. I usually get the spicy chicken nuggets as a side and they are delicious. The broth was spicy but a little oily tasting. I was sweating the whole time which was awesome! The veggies, meats and mushrooms all had great flavor. This place was obviously using fresh ingredients. I'm sharing a copy of my bill so you can see that they itemize for things like the sauce/ ice cream bar as well as the cc fee. I like when restaurants do this because it means that they don't make everyone pay for things if they don't want those things. It means that this restaurant is going the extra mile to provide a good value. We were impressed and we'll be back for more awesome food and excellent service!

I had been wanting to try this place since they opened, and thankfully the family was onboard with trying somewhere new. The outside of the building is nothing special, but you can't always judge a book by its cover. As we entered, we were warmly greeted by multiple staff members and seated right away. We ordered the miso soup, teriyaki chicken, bulgogi beef, and dumpling sampler. We all sampled each other's dishes, and everyone loved the food. Everything was very flavorful with just the right balance of portions and ingredients. The service was excellent. Our drinks were constantly refilled, and we never went thirsty. The building is definitely older, and where this showed most was in the bathrooms. They could use a fresh coat of paint and a few updates. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and will definitely be back.

Sushi including the sashimi plates are 50% Food: Dragon Roll: The roll was a nice size so that it could be eaten in 1 bite. Mini Sashimi Plate: The fish was fairly fresh tasting. This was included in the 50% off. Sesame Scallion Noodles: The noodles have a savory sesame scallion sauce coating it. It is very savory but also has a very heavy sesame flavor to it. Shrimp Fried Rice: They used short grain rice for the fried rice. It does have the wok char taste, but it is very oily (probably because they need more oil to prevent this type of rice from sticking together). There are nuts in it. Pan Fried Chicken Buns: This was the highlight of the dinner. These buns are handmade at the store and have a juicy chicken filling. Service: 5 Our waitress was super nice, but there was a little trouble in ordering due to the language barrier. Most of the food didn't take too long to come out besides the pan fried buns. Ambiance: 4 The restaurant is located in a quiet plaza. There is plenty of parking. The restaurant itself has a lot of booths and is fairly clean.

"Grilled marinated chicken tossed in a sweet-homemade teriyaki sauce." The menu says nothing about the chicken being coated in a "light batter." I called the restaurant told them that I was expecting just grilled marinated chicken, not with a batter. The gentleman who answered the phone, said they've been meaning to take that off the menu. I've seen this item on the Grubhub and restaurant menu before, just didn't order it, and it never said anything about it being battered. So, apparently it's not all that important to change being as the description hasn't changed in all these months. My order was refunded, and I greatly appreciate that, I now need to find something else to eat tonight. Had I been physically able to get in my car, and drive to the restaurant to ask how they prepare their food I would've done that instead of going through a delivery service.
