Been coming here for about seven months always thought the price was high! They always messed up our order every time but except for one time and we come at least once a month sometimes we were coming twice a month! Came in today for dinner. Our price should've been $34 rounded up for pepper steak. $11.45 chicken lo mein $9.95 & in Singapore mei fun $11.35! Total came out to $41.17! So this place is definitely over charging you! Plus, they can't get an order right! got water! So they're charging for everything and now they got a little sign sticking on the front that's not with the menu price! It's not when you come in the door. It's not on the menu. It's not notified anywhere, but a little paper sign stuck to a piece of plexiglass glass that you can't see when you come! The food is good, but after coming all the time every month and once at least if not more, and then them up charging will not be back! Food is good. Other just as good Chinese food other places in Albuquerque that do not charge that the prices are straightforward and you still get good decent! read more

My first visit to this establishment was August 20, 2025. There is plenty of parking available. Clear signage out front. Staff is friendly and helpful. Decor is relaxed and has Asian theme influence. The menu has many choices. My dining companion had orange chicken and I had general TSO's tofu, and a small bowl of hot and sour soup. The accompanying white rice was excellent. The chicken had an amazing crunch on the outside and then was very tender. My General Tso tofu was very well done. Portion sizes are very generous. The hot and sour soup was absolutely perfect. I drive by this place all the time and haven't been in in quite some time. I have to preface this with Chinese food as a pescatarian can be really really tricky - pork and other things sneak into the food fairly often so I'm always a bit wary. That said, I came in here on some recommendations from some vegans to finally give it a try. I got the crab rangoons and the sweet and sour shrimp. Both were absolutely delicious. The rangoons are interesting, they're flat which means a lot more filling ends up in them than in your traditional shape. There were also a lot of them for the price. The sweet and sour shrimp was cooked perfectly, it was a little light on vegetables, but the flavor was definitely spot on. The staff was all super friendly and very helpful. Very disappointed! They were understaffed, thus it took ages to get my food. The main entree was mediocre. The cashew shrimp was not terrible but strange that the cashews were just sprinkled on top of the stir fry. The worst part was biting into the egg roll only to taste rancid oil. We've been eating here for years. Dinner was not up to their usual standards tonight. Ordered the Special Family Dinner for Two for pickup. Received egg drop soup instead of the requested won ton, chicken lo mein had a total of two pieces of chicken in the entire order and General Tso's chicken was just fried pieces of breading, no chicken. I asked for special orders of things and the cook does it to perfection for no extra cost. The atmosphere and ambiance is nothing to write home about , but there are approximately nine tables and people come in and eat. I ordered for a group: we had the chicken with broccoli, chicken with mixed veggies, kung pao beef, schezwan chicken, and kung pao shrimp. Everyone loved the food I was surprised, in a good way, when they rung up the cost. VERY reasonably priced. I appreciate that they are generous with portion sizes. Easy access from the intersection of Montgomery and Tramway Blvds. Plenty of good parking. Clean modern restrooms. Tables or booths both available. Seating for maybe 30 max. Service was courteous, friendly and prompt. So far I've tried a few menu items including soups, chicken wings, egg foo young and a rice and veggie dish. Food quality is top notch, portions are satisfyingly large, there's a very lengthy menu with enough variety to suit almost any taste. Kitchen does a terrific job and the food is almost too hot to eat as served. I live in Santa Fe and am happy to drive the 35+ miles for their food. The prices are quite reasonable too. I had never been here before last Sunday. I was looking for a Chinese restaurant that was opened that had General Tso's chicken...I was craving it from another place that was closed. I rolled the dice and ordered General Tso's chicken and some sweet and sour pork... your basic go-to Chinese takeout and it came up 7's! General Tso's chicken could have used a little more heat and next time I'll see if they will accommodate my taste buds. It was, nevertheless, very tasty and had some just right steamed broccoli as a garnish. The sweet and sour pork was very good also. My son was surprised at the great quality and freshness. We've been coming here for 3 years. The waitress is super nice, and the food always comes out in less than 20 minutes. And the food is really good! They also have really good prices! This little hole in the wall family owned restaurant serves quality Chinese cuisine. I'm a big egg foo young fan and the gravy is yummy. The Szechwan is tasty but not too hot or spicy. If you want more heat try Thai, Indian or Korean food. This is your basic Chinese food, not too salty or too much soy. You will not be disappointed in whatever you may order. Great American Chinese food, China Garden is hard to beat for certain dishes. The BBQ spare ribs are sweet and tender. General Tso dishes are really good and can be customized, sweeter and/or spicier with extra crispy chicken or shrimp. Garlic sauce is savory especially when you ask for ginger to be added. There are usually seafood specials listed on the board. Salt and pepper anything is good. Singapore Mai Fun can be ordered extra spicy with pork and seafood. Stay away from the cashew chicken, and the miniature corn in dishes. It's worth the drive. If you don't know what to order, ask the nice Chinese woman her recommendations. She always recognizes my family, including extended family. The egg foo young recently has been elevated, maybe a new cook. It is now crispy on the outside and tender on the inside with pork, shrimp, and veggies. It comes with a savory gravy. But I recommend it for dine in only. Very nice people running the show here! We ordered the egg rolls which were quite large, but the wrap was too thick. Next we had the hot & sour soup. No heat, and it was not sour, but lots of tofu. Main - Kung Po Beef which is suppose to be Spicy, but sadly it was Not. In fact none of the food ordered had any flavor at all. The beef was very chewy and the vegetables were over-cooked. Another good thing with the lunch specials is the portions. Not to big, not too small. The waitress was polite and friendly. My sister order shrimp with lobster sauce...NO lobster, rather it contained fake krab....and the sauce was generic. She also got shrimp fried rice...same issues as my fried rice dish. Not a great way to start, especially when they didn't appear to be busy in the restaurant or with take-out. As for the food, so-so. The egg rolls and dumplings had good flavor but were luke warm, at best. The egg foo young was good but the sauce was very salty. The curry shrimp was reasonable.
